Belly up at the bar and get your drink. Then enjoy the live music and friendly, clean atmosphere! This place is 5 star! So clean, polished and friendly! Too bad for us we found this on our last night Belfast! We would have been back every night!

Had a terrible experience at The Harp Bar on St. Patrick’s Day. I was there with a large group of friends, all of us wearing GAA jerseys like many others in the bar. Out of nowhere, my boyfriend was singled out by the bouncer and told he had to leave immediately because of his jersey—despite the fact that others, including people in our group, were wearing the exact same one. My boyfriend even offered to button up his shirt over it, but the bouncer refused, saying that since he had already seen the jersey, he still had to go. To make things worse, he wouldn’t even give him time to let the rest of us know—just insisted he had to leave right away. Absolutely ridiculous and unfair treatment especially on St Patrick’s day where the majority of people were wearing Gaa jerseys. Instead of staying in a place with such inconsistent policies, we all left and went elsewhere where we were made completely welcome! Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a fair and welcoming atmosphere.

Here for St Patrick’s day, nearly everyone in jerseys as expected. After being there for nearly two hours our friend was kicked out because his jersey had a tiny 1916 written on it. The bouncers on the door had no issue with the jersey our friend was wearing when they let us in. When the manager was asked about this they treated us terribly and said there were no “political” tops allowed, even though we counted at least 7 others wearing the same jersey who were not kicked out. Happy enough to profit off an Irish holiday but not allowed an Irish jersey👎👎👎👎👎

The top bar at the Harp is a great place to have a date night, hang out with friends. It feels like you have been transported to a bar from the 80s. It's very posh and luxurious. The in this bar are refurbished from old ships made in Belfast. It's only open on Saturdays, which makes it special and really stands out. They also play live music. I think one must visit this place if you are in Belfast.

Brilliant bar , was for the younger crowd but we were made to feel really welcome. Wish we'd have found this bar on first night instead of last. Great staff, great music, great security. Brilliant all round.

Got drawn in by the lovely decor which felt so original and transported us right back in time! Varied selection of beers and cocktails, and although it was absolutely packed on Saturday night, we were able to find a spot and enjoy our drinks for the evening!

Refreshing for a city centre bar to have polite security on the door and not have complete brain dead bar ignorant bar staff. Great atmosphere on Saturday afternoons and we’ll be back! Top drawer stuff. Well done. 👍🏻

If I could give 0 stars I would. Myself and my boyfriend up for a weekend in Belfast and went to this bar, my boyfriend was wearing a gant shirt and gillet paired with a pair of rm Williams boots. Only to be turned away at the door and lied to about the fact it was full to then see other people being let in. I went back up and asked why this was exactly after being told the place was full and the bouncer said it was due to the brown boots my boyfriend was wearing and they had trouble in the place a few weeks ago with boys in brown boots. Actually laughable considering it was a couple just looking to go in for a drink. I will make sure the next time we come to Belfast my boyfriend dresses like a smick.

What a crap noisy place ...dirty disgusting broken glass everywhere tables full of empty glass bottles no one seems to clean ...so much vaping in the place you can hardly breath ....terrible experience and a place to avoid not entertaining in any shape or form

Lovely bar with plenty of seats. Even when it's full there's plenty of room because of the layout. Plenty of bar space for orders. Staff are very polite and helpful. Pricing is average for Belfast City. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't open until 4pm on a Sunday, when other pubs are open from 1pm. Otherwise I would have been there longer. The atmosphere is great with frequent live music .

Went here with friends on a saturday night.Queued to get into side room with music,had two seperate acts on.Bar service good,atmosphere great worth a visit,but can get busy.

Busy, popular bar with a nice, mixed clientele - young and old, glamorous and casual. All in all, very comfortable. The service was hit and miss. The person behind the bar was a inexperienced but the guys on the floor were very professional. Great for a night out in the city. Very enjoyable indeed.

Very good pub best we been so far on our Irish trip the bar man was fantastic giving my wife some advice on which was the best whisky from Bushmills to drink sorry about the pic of the toilet but so clean and good well done 👏

Great bar in the popular Cathedral Quarter, previously known as the Half Bap area. Staff attentive, good music and nice and clean.

Great place for drinks 👍🍻 It's located in the middle of the lively part of town (it reminds me of Mathew Street in Liverpool 🤣) The Bar is big with lots of Seats and Tables, a friendly bunch of Customers and great Service. Well worth a visit for a Beer 👍

Went on Saturday afternoon with friends, bar was very busy and the atmosphere was excellent.

I was at the Harp Bar with a few mates on Saturday. I bought 7 drinks and it came to almost £50. Very impressed by the staff getting the order correct, personally I would never have remembered them all. The staff were also very pleasant as well. Given how busy it was the toilets were fairly clean. The only downside was I had to stand the entire time (I'm too old for this shhhhh). The bar had a good buzz about it as well. Door staff were very professional as well dealing with an irate and very drunk woman as we were going in.

A brief visit to this pub which we liked a lot. Lovely staff and enjoyed listening to the guitarist/singer. We visited 3 pubs in the Cathedral Quarter and they were all great. Looking forward to going back and spending more time there.

Great service and atmosphere. Only downside is that it's massively overpriced. It's starting to turn into a tourist trap which isn't necessarily a bad thing just be prepared to pay rhe high prices for drinks.

Good prices for beer in a very popular area. The live music was incredible. We came around 7 and were able to find a seat no problem.

In cred I ble!!! By far the highlight of our visit to Belfast. The musician was amazing. The vibe in the bar was so much fun we didn't want to leave but sadly had a table for food booked elsewhere.

We arrived late afternoon,not intending to stay long, that changed! the excellant singer/guitarist chose amazing range of music, created.a party atmosphere. Welcoming friendly folk around, some from Holland, who enjoined the dancing! Real mix of age groups, the Harp Bar easily enjoyed by everyone. Met some fab folk 😜💕

Absolutely fantastic, was here for my mates stag, all 6 of us come away saying was the best pub we've ever been too super good vibes. Live music with all the favourites.

We only had drinks here but so glad we did. Every member of the staff was so friendly. Hawley told us a lot about the history of the area, including his own experiences as a child. We are so glad we stopped in.

Arrived just as the singer struck the first chord on Saturday afternoon. Then two hours of madness ensued! Great atmosphere and great Guinness. Loved it. And we will back!

Amazing experience, live music. I even got sung happy birthday by the musician. It really made my experience more amazing. Drinks were reasonable price. And arm chairs were so comfy to sit back and watch the show

Great spot, appears to be pretty popular. Had live music on the go the night we were there courtesy Danielle Mullen. Kept clean and service was quick. Went to go back on a Saturday night and was met with a pretty long line - when you're good, you're good ! Will be back again.

In the over flow bar of Harp bar. We asked before we entered about entertainment and were polited told there was live music. We have been sitting in the bar now for almost 2 hours without any music at all only to ask the girl who seemed to be settling up" what time the music started" to her reply " when were ready" with the most cheeky attitude. Now 2.30 mins and still nothing apart from the music the Harp bar is playing below. The attitude from the so-called musical was ridiculous. Would not recommend at all.
