Harleys Fish Bar in Birmingham

I always order from here but tonight it felt as if it had been delivered from another chip shop. Really not a nice meal. Fish was as if it had sat there for a while just not a nice piece at all. It’s usually the best

After ordering from Harleys on uber eats, i am thoroughly satisfied with the service and would return again! they accommodate the change of donner meat on an order note, all the food was hot as well as fresh and tasted good. great service, these guys do a service our country has at the heart of its culture and cuisine :))

Usually their kebabs really nice but got a large kebab and salad (lunch time hours) Seemed like the kebab wasn't throughly cooked, as it was a bit pale and had a weird aftertaste. Not sure if chicken was fresh as he put it in the microwave 1st. Not impressed today

We have used Harley’s for years but will never be using them again, ordered food and only half of it turned up, not the first time this has happened, called them only to be told its not their responsibility that we didn’t received our full order

Definitely the best fish and chips

Used to love this takeaway BUT now they have started to charge for sauce and separating salad. Spent 40p on sauces on my Hunger Box and there was barely any sauce and on the chips there was no sauce at all, There was 80% chips and 20% meat. Also the chicken tikka meat is ALWAYS DRY or I get too many burnt hard pieces. What are they playing at these days? I'm done with the place now.

Best chip shop in my area. Very friendly staff. Top quality food. But waiting time is bit long but its good coz this will shows that we are getting fresh food. I love the food , I'm really habitat for harleys food.

Brilliant! - great choice, great staff, I love going to Harley’s, they even do battered chips too, they are really well organised in there too, so even if the queue is long, the wait is never that bad, I will recommend Harley’s to anyone

Our regular as we get good service. One member of staff is exceptional and a reason we go. To make life easy we take stickers and she puts them on the wrappers.

Very disappointed yesterday, A large mixed meat and chips with orange chips and salad was shocking.(Disnt think to take pic) I've had bigger medium sized for cheaper at other places. Good job had x2 scallops for me an the OH too, the salad was shameful like a sprinkle of salt, that's how little there was of it, meat barely any and dry, chips average. I travelled to use this chippy after hearing good things. Won't be using again.

I had an incredible experience at Harley Fish Bar! The entire team is amazing, but I have to give special thanks to Mr. Bhatti, who makes the pizza. I’ve been in this country for almost two years, and I have to say, I’ve never had a pizza like this before. Thank you so much, Mr. Bhatti! I also want to highlight Mr. Sherry, who is an outstanding person. His service is super quick—like a robot! He’s incredibly efficient and always makes sure everything runs smoothly. A big thanks to the entire team at Harley Fish Bar. The owner is also such a friendly, jolly person who is always willing to jump in and help customers. First time ordering from here I'm sorry to say but it is expensive. Plus the roe was very greasy and by the time our order got here it was warm not hot sorry had to be honest shame becouse of it being our first time using this place

Great chippey, great quality food. Very long wait if you go in. The delivery drivers and app orders take priority, 2 people serving and 1 leaves to get pizzas for delivery driver. There were 9 staff working and walk in orders lowest. Shame as the quality is good. Might order via app and get delivered to the parking outside for speed. Shame

Very rude staff who don’t have any regard for delivery drivers. The staff are very unprofessional and have an attitude problem. Other places are much more professional and better in general. Update. Your response shows what an ignorant person you are. I know how to do my job properly thank you very much. Treat people with courtesy rather than making obnoxious comments. I have no intention of visiting such a rude and ignorant place. Good riddance!!!!

9 pound for this sad mixed meat and chips, waited over an hour through uber eats. Unless your there in person, don't waste your time. I genuinely love this chippy but after this I'm not bothering again

Food is nice but the wait is too long so I prefer called the shop to put haddock in before leaving and they still didn’t start cooking food until I arrived so still waited over 25 minutes for fresh haddock.

Ordered for delivery so atmosphere unknown. Food was really nice have ordered on a few occasions and food has always been spot on.

Excellent food. Reasonable prices. Fish and chips were nice.

Battered chips and pie, was good chippy tea

Food is expensive. You have to always double check the staff have included everything. The person that served me this evening when I went in (lady with lots of tattoos), put a pot of curry sauce inside the bag upside down. There was no curry sauce in the pot left when we got home it had all spilled out. Not going back there again.

Food was cold. Staff was rude. Over charged. Even gave a small list and still couldn’t get it right. I’ve left 1 star cause there is no option of 0 stars. AVOID 😡😡

Came this evening and had beast of chicken chips and large sausage got home 5 minutes away the chicken was stone cold went back the lad had attitude problem they replaced all my food and got to say it wasn't palatable waste of £7.80 won't be visiting again not like they care

Ordered delivery via Uber . Delivery turned up cold. Have used this place for years without complaint. Unfortunately not prepared to pay top price chip shop wise for food that’s cold.

Went in a couple weeks ago and ordered a doner kebab and a cone of chips and got doner meat and chips . Went in last night and other half ordered doner kebab and a cone of chips and explained what happened last time and was assured it was correct this time . Got all the way home and guess what , doner meat and chips again . Took them back this time to be told that's what she ordered I said no it wasn't, he then said he remembered and asked the young girl what she served when it wasn't her that served my other half , they then started talking in their own language which I thought was very rude . No real apology even though I had to come back out in torrential rain and use more petrol ...

Had mixed kebab last week it was delicious. Treated myself to Fish&chips this evening. Whilst it looked lovely the fish batter was like chewing leather and the almost non-existent fish inside was dry as sandpaper. Even chips were a lot scraps. Unfortunately I think I got lunchtime left overs. Not at all happy! The staff are usually friendly but this evening he was right miserable. I drew the short straw today 😢

Great chips, best in the neighbourhood, friendly staff and perfect service. The shop can be queuing outside the door but they can catch up quickly as more staff come on to serve. Highly recommend for anyone to try here as you won't be disappointed. Very good management. Thankyou.

WARNING FOOD POISONING i ordered food today through Uber thought I would try it as everyone from my work orders from here so thought I would try it chicken was so dry and definitely not fresh I knew instantly I had food poisoning starting throwing up and worst pain in my stomach I will never order from here again and make sure no one from my work does I never leave bad reviews but had too if zero stars was an option I would

Absolute joke of a place on a Friday, do not bother queuing up for food as they do t concentrate on the people who are in the shop! Never again.

The chips are lovely and kebab very tasty

Very disappointed with our order tonight. Ordered x2 large cod, x1 small cod and regular chips. But no small cod delivered instead we received a scallop. This went in the bin as no-one will eat this. Also order was not very warm when received. Usually we have very good service, but will be reluctant to order again.

Food here is by far the best I have never a complaint about food just some staff need rethinking

I’m sorry to say but I think and I know others who think the same Harley’s food was Grt battered chips lovely , but I am afraid to say standards have slipped battered chips hardly have any batter on order constantly wrong young staff who haven’t got a clue what size is a small medium or large chips is ? Quality and standard of food has slipped quality of staff something to be desired . It’s seems that everything has become rushed and are more hell bent on getting orders for drivers out than concentrating on what they are serving management need to take stock and a good hard look at what they are serving . All of U.S. customers can’t be wrong and it shows has I see more of Harley’s customers at bakers lane Chippy

Can’t fault the staff at Harleys after ordering on Uber eats and the delivery driver delivered to the wrong address The man I spoke to on the phone was so helpful and caring even ring me to see if I got my order after it being redone for us highly recommended food was lovely and customer service was 10/10

Now don’t get me wrong, the food is good, but when you order it in from uber eats the prices are through the roof, £5 for a large chips!!!😟, this isn’t my problem though…my problem is that i ordered a regular size chips and the portion they gave me😳my goodness there was barely any in there. Bare in mind, i got this bag for us to share (as we were not paying £5 for a large), and a regular was fine for us to share before, but this time we only managed to get a few each.

WARNING!!! FOOD POISONING!! Used to be one of my regular go to places. Had lunch from there today... the one and only meal I've eaten and I've never been so unwell after a few hours after. The food tasted off today. The quality of the food has gone down hill gradually to the point now where its unhygienic and damaging to health to eat. Seems to happen when places get complacent. I'll never come back here again.

I attended the above establishment for the very first time today, having read the reviews and decided to try the food. The young lady at the till was having difficulty with the order (as per the website) and asked a colleague for help. This colleague, an elderly Caucasian slim woman was rude and very dismissive. I felt like I was an inconvenience to her and as such her customer service was deplorable. Luckily the son of the owner of the establishment intervened and sorted the issue and apologised profusely (thank you). I was so upset that I could not enjoy my food and in the end had to discard of it. My only advise to management is be meticulous with your hiring process, as every customer that comes through your doors needs to be dealt with utmost respect and appreciation.

Stay away. They now serve this for a cone!

Lovely fish and chips. Currently working our way round the fish and chips shops around Great Barr trying to find some authentic-ish Yam-Yam/Battered Chips and Harley's were close but not quite yam-yam enough. We'll keep looking but would be more than happy to come back here 👍

Food was really tasty. Ordering face to face was a bit clunky. Some of the items apparently take more time to cook and lady had said I should have ordered them first, which I did but in the wrong order (how was I supposed to know!). Otherwise I would order again definitely (but perhaps through the phone).

Fist time ever had it and the staff treated me like they knew me for years. I don’t know her name but the lady was amazing, chicken burger was unbelievable but the battered chips was a winner for me. Definitely coming back
