We stayed here for two nights over Easter. The hotel is well looked after and the design is really nice. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The location is fantastic. The only thing that I found a bit annoying is that they charge their hotel guests extra £10/night for parking.

Lovely stay in a super location. Room was large and spotlessly clean. Staff excellent as was the breakfast. Only downside was the £15 parking fee but to be expected in Padstow, I suppose. Will hopefully return again soon!

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea at the Harbour Hotel in Padstow. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the tea was beautifully presented with amazing sandwiches, scones, cream and jam and cakes. The view over the estuary was stunning. We had a lovely relaxing afternoon here and would recommend everyone to go and enjoy this experience.

Perfectly nestled in Padstow, this hotel offers stunning harbour views and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially at breakfast, and made our dog feel just as welcome as we were. Beautiful rooms, great service—can’t wait to return!

This is a good hotel in a great location close to the harbour and all the restaurants. I booked breakfast only to find out it only qualifies for continental if you want a full English it's an extra £10 per person. I find this annoying as you book in good faith a breakfast only to find out after the fact.

We have been visiting the harbour hotel for years even when it was the Metropole we loved it great location and friendly staff. We are not happy as they now charge for breakfast each morning at 10.00 per person in addition to the charge of the continent breakfast. and also they now charge for the car park 10.00 per day - we ere not informed of these charges upon booking, very sad it’s penny pinching, shame as the staff are lovely. I’m sad to say we won’t re visit at those unnecessary prices Shame.

Just had a Sunday roast lunch meal. Has improved considerably since covid. In fact I would go as far to say that the Sunday roast is by far the best in Padstow and we have been to most of the eateries in Padstow!

Location perfect. Staff all really helpful and gave good service. Especially at check-in/ checkout/ and breakfast. The breakfast was nice with a great view. The room let us down due to the overall cleanliness. We asked to change rooms, as the first one we went to smelt damp, the carpet had stains all over it, and it had not been hoovered well/ or at all perhaps. The shower head was unclean, and there were hairs on the toilet seat and bed, we also noticed alot of dust around including on the remote, phone, smears on light switches, and coffee stains down walls. For the price we paid for our wedding anniversary, it was a dissapointment. However after we asked to be moved, the second room offered was alot better and we were very pleased to have been upgraded. The view was wonderful. Unfortunatley up close there was a build up of dust around the room, especially around the bed and along the bath. Coffee spills down walls again. Overall the cleaning standards of the hotel rooms need to be higher, it would make it more comfortable.

Great location, underwhelming for the price paid. Stayed for 2 nights in April in a top floor room which was incredibly hot. We had the radiator off, the window open as much as it would go and the shutters open to keep the air coming in. This didn’t seem to help. After the first night I asked the cleaning staff when they came to attend to our room, if there was anything that could be done to lower the room temperature. Other than a fan and a couple of extra bottles of water, there was no other suggestion and were told that some of the rooms at the top of the building are notoriously warm. It was unacceptably warm and as a result we had uncomfortable nights sleep. I dread to think what it’s like in summer. Staff clearly knew the room is always warm yet nothing has been done to remedy this unfortunately. I’m sure had we had a different room I would have had a much more positive experience. Wardrobe / tea coffee cupboard area had a light that didn’t work. Told a welcome drink of g&t was in our room on arrival but the insulated ice bucket was empty, we had to get it ourselves (granted arrival times vary but that’s what the ice bucket is there for!) Shower was tiny and cramped, (im a small person, so if I’m saying it’s tiny then it really is!). Breakfast is decent (although, overcooked eggs) with lots of choice. Overpriced for the quality of the room in general. Location however is excellent for walking into Padstow.

Excellent location but for what you pay, I felt the hotel was lacking somewhat. Parking can be fun if you’re staying there, the access to the rear car park is tight! Padstow is of course lovely and when we went thankfully it wasn’t too busy, even though it was the Easter weekend. Catch the ferry to Rock and enjoy a lovely coastal walk!

We had a fabulous 3 night stay recently. The Hotel itself is lovely, the room was modern, comfortable and above all, clean. We had a beautiful view of the estuary too. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. Couldn't fault anything!

We called in for lunch recently and it would seem that the hotel has had a really good upgrade since we were last there. Like a lot of restaurants these days the menu was very lack lustre, the choices appeared to require minimuim skill and effort from the cook, would have been nice to have had fresh fish from the quay which was about 300 metres from the Hotel.

After visiting my home county of Cornwall in Penzance, I wanted what all Cornish men yearn for a real Cornish pasty so I bought one from a shop that has been trading for 20/30 years and what I tasted was the biggest disappointment I’ve ever had (total rubbish) disgrace to all Cornish pasties, so the next day I went into the deli called the Cornish Hen and bought another pasty and wow it was the best I’ve ever had in Cornwall so I say to all you people who visit Penzance and want the best pasty going visit the Cornish Hen in Penzance you won’t be disappointed

Arrived at 1715 on a Wednesday to get a takeaway, couldn't park outside road was full, found a parking space 5 mins away walked to the restaurant and it was closed. Did come back another day when you were open and got a great takeaway and managed to park right outside, I know now google are a pain if you try to change the opening times.

Dinner was delicious! Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Freshly prepared, thoughtful touches like smashed peas, roast lemon and homemade tartare sauce elevated this dish. Lovely service from Charlie our waitress. Very unexpected.
