great to see a chippy open on Mondays and lunchtimes great stuff and nice chips by the way. One other great thing is you can park. Market Harborough understand not all people want to save the planet by cycling everywhere risking their lives and frankly wasting it. The journey from my house to this chippy is eight miles about 8 minutes. By bike well, for me , an hour or more. My chips would be very cold by the time i got home. Cheers to using cars wherever possible to keep your chips and pukka pies warm.

Me and my mate were passing through market harbs and decided to try harborough fish bar after searching local chip shops on google. We were very impressed by the portion sizes of the chips as well as the spicy chicken burgers. Will deffo be coming back to this chippy if we are ever passing through the harborough area again! Can’t reccomend these guys enough!

Easy ordering and collection service with pleasant staff. Fish and chips very good and generous portions. Chicken kebabs used to be generous but the last couple I’ve had have been very small and not worth the price..... I make my own now.

Can not praise Harborough fish bar enough for their food and their staff! Great portion sizes and fantastic chicken meat and doner meat. Staff were extremely polite and displayed great measures of health and safety. Will certainly be making this a weekly treat...

Love this place its the best chip shop around and not just for fish and chips. The staff are amazing too it’s clean, the food is Amazing and I highly recommend the HENRY Burger. Can’t recommend this place enough thanks guys

I’m not usually one for using review websites, but on this occasion I have decided to make an account in order to let everyone at Harborough Fish Bar know how amazing my experience was!!! I decided to try Harborough Fish Bar after cutting through the southern estate on my way home from work and I have never been more impressed by a simple portion of fish and chips. The batter on the fish was perfection, light and crispy. A regular chips was enough to feed a whole family, let alone 1 person!!! I also noticed all the safety precautions that were in place during these testing times and it made me more comfortable when ordering and waiting for my food!!! I will 100% without a doubt be trying a range of different foods from this chip shop on my second visit, as after trying most of the chip shops in Market Harborough, this one without a doubt is the best!!! I just can’t believe I haven’t eaten from here before!! Well done guys!!!

Tried Harborough Fish Bar for my first big Friday takeaway since lockdown and I am amazed with the quality of the food as well as the staff and their organisation during thee tough times. The mixed kebab is probably the best I have ever tasted throughout the years and the fish was superb. The young lad outside who was organising the social distancing queue and the telephone orders was so welcoming and made everything simple and straight forward. Will definitely be returning next week for my next fish friday fix.

Not one to complain but very soggy battered fish and overcooked chips, very disappointing! Most ended in the waste!

Recently visited Harborough Fish Bar through a recommendation, and it’s safe to say that this is one of the best chip shops that I have visited. The fantastic staff on shift provided me with a massive portion of chips, which was more than we expected alongside some very well battered fish and sausages. The Chinese curry sauce was to die for, it complemented the rest of the meal perfectly. I will be confidently returning to Harborough Fish Bar with the wife and kids for another outstanding fish and chip experience!!!

The worst batter I’ve had in a long time. Not worth the money. Most of the food went in the bin. Will stick with another chip shop in the town centre next time I’m in the area. See photo.

There hasn’t been a quality fish and chip shop in Harborough until you opened, I am elderly and have to care for my disabled wife, you make an occasional evening meal a real treat.

Whatever the order: cod, battered sausage, kebab meat, all served with chips, of course, I've never had anything but excellent food here. Such is the place's deserved popularity that's it's worth bracing oneself for a wait on Saturday evening, although staff always mitigate this with their impressive efficiency. But it will be worth it.

Regular visitors to this Chippy. I love the fish. It’s fresh & cooked to perfection ( size of a whale) My son rates the battered sausage chips and curry sauce as his best tea ever .

We have recently been to Market Harborough with our caravan camping on a local site. Due to the weather being too hot to cook we decided to have a takeaway instead and we decided on Fish and Chips but not knowing the area well my husband asked a local resident.Well!! When he eventually found somewhere to park he found your shop and said they were queuing out of the door. Always a good sign.Fabulous Fish & Chips massive portions and Chinese Curry Sauce too. Fabulous could be more happier. We’ll be back next year

Absolutely Love this place! The food is always nice and really good portion sizes. The staff are very friendly especially Henry who always gives great customer service.They have a good variety of food that other chip shops don't. I wouldn't go anywhere else would recommend to everyone.

Harborough Fish Bar provided 42 portions of fish and chips for our recent Charity event. The owner and staff were so helpful and went over and above to ensure all the food, including a vegetarian option, arrived individually packed, hot crispy and delicious. Everyone without exception enjoyed their food.

I went in here a couple of months ago just on chance and bought fish and chips, the fish fillet was of a good size, nicely cooked, the batter was a light straw colour and well drained. The chips were fresh and well cooked.

The fish is lovely and you get enough chips to feed a family of 30!!

We asked the Harborough Fish Bar to cater for out Girlguiding event. The team were incredibly helpful and gave us useful advise of the amount to order, provided extra empty boxes and even helped getting the food to the car.

Have been going to this chippy fairly regularly over the last few years but my last 3 visits have been a real disappointment. The chips from last nights visit were undercooked, soggy and greasy. Put them straight in the bin! Will be trying a new chippy next time.

Had three large fish and regular chips last weekend and discovered the best chip shop in Market Harborough for quality and quantity- really impressive

We asked the Harborough Fish Bar whether they could cater for a charity quiz night. At every stage of the process, Phil replied promptly and was incredibly helpful, even when the amount of food we needed far exceeded what we initially expected and when we had to make some last minute adjustments on the day.

Wow, what a great experience. Really good quality fish and chips, lots and lots of chips, had to freeze some of them (great tip by the way - just oven cook them again when you want them)

Just organised a f&c; supper last night (Friday 18th May 2018) for 48 people. All food supplied by Harborough Fish Bar. Food and service excellent. Everyone wanted to know where the food came from. Would definitely recommend it for quality, servicce and value for money.

Awesome fish at the minute, extremely well cooked- fish is still succulent and juicy! Friendly service too! Easily the best fish and chip shop in town!

Every time I visit the staff are always polite and friendly. You are always given large portions which is very good value for money. Happy to return again.

We are staying In Market Harborough for work on short spells but each time we stay we use this Fish Shop the staff are really welcoming and friendly the food is fab, huge portions too at a reasonable price.

Best chip shop in Harborough by far, the fish is absolutely the best and the chips are always crispy. Also do a decent burgersand kebabs. 10/10

Really enjoyed my fish and chips from here. The service was friendly and the fish tasted nice and fresh. The food is reasonably priced and there's a good menu to choose from. Looking forward to going back.

El personal es agradable. Cod ￡ 4. 50. Patatas fritas regulares 2. ￡ Servicio rápido. Sal y vinagre. ofrecieron Solo aceptan efectivo, lo cual es molesto. El pescado estaba bien. Tamaño razonable pero más pequeña que lo que recuerdo en Blue Wave, creo. Gran porción de patatas fritas. De nuevo estos estaban bien. Probablemente volveremos.

Delicious, fresh and hot. I had fish and chips in town, and these were much better. A small is still a good sized portion.

No tuvimos ningún problema esperando el pescado fresco y cuando llegué a casa y abrí el papel lo un gran pez fue y muy sabrosos! Le encantaría volver para más cuando en el área de nuevo!

Llamamos por adelantado por un viernes noche concurrida y colocado un gran pedido para la recogida. En menos de media hora el pedido. El pescado y las patatas fritas era muy sabroso y con una buena relación calidad-precio, con personal eficiente y amable. Gracias por los tarros gratis de salsa tartare!!!

Recientemente tuve una fiesta de cumpleaños y mi esposo e hijas pensamos que pescado y patatas fritas sería una buena idea para las comidas. utilizan Harbor Fish Bar que no pudo haber sido más servicial, no sólo en el pre pidiendo y asesoramiento, pero el día en que empezó temprano en la tarde para conseguir nuestra orden hecho (era una fiesta por la tarde). También ponen en cajas, ya que estaba a 20 minutos o así que viaje de regreso a la fiesta, que se celebró en nuestro hall del pueblo.Todo el mundo disfrutó mucho el pescado y las patatas fritas (y hamburguesas alternativas vegetarianas y rollitos de primavera) que estaban deliciosos. Harbor Fish Bar bien Felicidades! Sin duda lo recomiendo.

I have tried all of the other chippys in Harborough but i find that Harborough fish bar is by far the best for food and service!

He estado utilizando esta fish and chips" durante los últimos dos años, ya que me trasladé a Market Harborough. Tengo que decir que el servicio es excelente, el personal siempre le dan una cálida bienvenida, y nada es demasiado problema, incluso cocinar mi pescado a la orden como me gusta la pasta en el pescado muy finas y crujientes.
