Harbour Fish and Chips in Wiltshire

We purchased battered sausages and this is the second time we've been served overcooked items (left in the heated area too long) to the point they were too hard to eat and had to be thrown away.

Unfortunately despite opening times displayed on the door and internet they were closed at 21.00. Apparently if they aren’t busy they shut early . Not helpful if your hungry.

Best fish and chips I ever had highly recommended. Fish was Freshly cooked , very happy costumer.

I popped in on my way home around 6:30pm and ordered Small cod and small chips £9.80. Got them home opened them and threw them in the bin. Very obviously refried lunchtime leftovers. Dripping in grease. Absolutely disgusting and inedible. These are fairly new owners. I don’t think it will be long before the place has new owners again.

Sorry to say but our fish n chips were awful, the worst we’ve had for many years. They tasted like they’d been cooked several hours before we bought them. They definitely were not freshly cooked.

Top notch fish and chips. All cooked from fresh. Massive portions and very filling. Highly recommended. We were on holiday in the area and would definitely visit again .

We were visiting the area and decided we wanted fish and chips. A bit of searching brought us to The Harbour. We were not disappointed. The fish was huge, freshly cooked and extremely tasty. Highly recommended

I bought a Large Cod and small Chips on Tues 20/04/2021 and forgot to pick up my Coach purse with 16 pounds in cas on the Counter I did not know where I left it until the following Thurs . I went back to the Cricklade Fish shop and it was waiting for me . Thank you very much for you honesty . The fish and chips was Excellent .

Decent Meal and price and quality was not to bad. service was fast and pleasant. food was cooked fresh to order.

Me and my husband shared a large cod and chips. The cod was cooked perfectly and the batter was crisp and thin just how I like it. I would highly recommend.

Brought a small cod, haddock & large chips, and what can I say, all was cooked beautifully. Huge piece of haddock would have feed both of us, chips enough for 4 people. Well worth the visit.

Visited tonight for the first time for large haddock chips and peas. Absolutely delicious and made fresh while I waited. Will definitely visit again....

Food is fresh and very tasty , not long wait ,reasonable prices and staff is really friendly . I strongly recommend a visit.

Fish and chips and homemade fish cakes are amazing. I had visit lots of fish and chips but this little shop is actually one of the best I have been. Absolutely amazing !!!!!

I ordered fish and chips for me and my husband I had cod and my husband had haddock . Both was amazing ..... haddock was huge . The girl who serves was very friendly ..... definitely will be back .

Called in early around 12, Chips and Curry Sauce were piping hot, as you would expect, and very tasty, nothing much to add really!

Yes the Harbour can get busy but the food is always hot and tasty. Can recommend the kids meals which include a drink and the large cod and chips which are nearly too big to eat.

Small chippy. The chap serving didn’t seem in the best of moods so it all felt like a bit of an inconvenience. Chips were fine; pie was wrapped in its plastic packaging then paper, which I found a bit odd.

Some of the nicest fish and chips around. Crisp, tasty batter and perfectly cooked fish. I love the hand cut chips and the occasional battered sausage is a real treat. Good portion sizes, always freshly cooked. A little more expensive than other local chip shops but well worth the extra pennies. Highly recommended!

Our local chippy, good portion sizes and a reasonable price. A wide range of food is cooked to order so you may have to wait Cash only which is not a problem as there is a cash machine close by.

On a long trip from the south west to the north east and hungry, found this whilst looking for a pub to eat at, quite randomly pulled in to Cricklade, and we are so glad we did, excellent service, food and price, we will certainly be back!

I eat lots of Fish and Chips, I travel frequently and find that they are quick, taste nice and are nutritious, This shop has to rank as one of the best! Lovely fish, well cooked in light crispy batter an my wife said the chips were the best she hd ever tasted!
