Real pub , Real people , real experience. Reminded me of traditional pubs elsewhere in K . No fancy gimmicks or noise. However will always be busy.

Go early if you want to be seated at a table. We put our name on the wait list and then sat at the bar and shared a bottle of wine. The staff and people were very nice. However, after a half hour, we saw a menu on the bar. Turns out the menu is the same at the bar as at the tables! Sooo, we ended up ordering at the bar and had a delicious meal. Wish we knew about the menu being the same at both the bar and the tables earlier!

The Boatyard Coffee Shop Coleraine

02/10/2018: Excellent for good value and location - nice quiet location for relaxing breakfast or lunch !!get along there and enjoy the whole thing !!
19/11/2018: We stopped here on our way to The Bushmills Inn for the night. Looked up trip advisor before leaving the house. It is in the countryside but worth checking out. As we were eating in the hotel that evening we both opted for toasted sandwich. I had chilli chicken and my husband had the beef and caramelised onion along with lovely coffee. Not many seats inside. A very popular spot. Would go back when in the art. Cheerful staff.

The Anchor Bar Complex

02/10/2018: We were staying in Portrush but drove along the coast to try the Anchor. The food we had was very god and the service friendly. We enjoyed it so much we returned on the second evening of our visit. The first night also featured live music which was a great bonus. Highly recommend.
18/10/2018: My B&B; host included The Anchor in his suggestions for my last dinner before returning home, mentioning that there would be music about 8pm (on a Monday...) before the 10pm karaoke! I enjoyed a tasty smoked haddock risotto and an indulgent dessert, one of the bar staff brought me all the bottled craft beers from which to choose an accompanying drink, and before I'd finished, a quartet of young musicians were entertaining us with Irish melodies both instrumental and vocal. A great conclusion to my walking holiday, and a good venue at any time.
