Fantastic for groups, or couples. Amazing menu! Sampled chicken, salmon, ribeye, filet mignon and several desserts!

Disappointing visit to the harbour bar. Prices don’t reflect the quality of the food; for example, £15.99 for 5 overcooked chicken goujons NO sides included is extremely expensive. Service was bare minimum. Won’t be back.

I had four friends over from Manchester and took them for a Thursday night in the Harbour bar. The welcome and hospitality we received from Sean and Willie was second to none. The live music was just as good. Terrific experience, delighted to be a semi regular 🍀👍🍀😎

Enjoy a blast at the harbour bar, especially for a match or to hear some of their musicians. Harbour bistro service and staff and food is fantastic 😋

Probably the best place in Portrush. If you want live music. Good beer. Minor gripe... Toilets are like seven stories up (2 probably)... but that's probably the only con. It's great.

The weekend of the raft race we got the chance to have a look around the lifeboat in Portrush Harbour. Wow what a job these guys do. It was like walking into the cockpit of a plane with the gadjets and gizmos. All this is needed to keep people safe. Give generously to the RNLI as you never know when you may need them. Normally they are selling items outside the ramp/offices. If you dont want any of the items just donate. Oh and the Harbour is a quiet place to sit and contemplate your thoughts. We called in on a Friday evening in February sat by the fire and enjoyed chat with other people around us. No phones. Simple conversation, People have forgot the art of conversation and this is a great place to start. We received sample food late on which was nice.

Nice evening in this friendly spot, staff had a sense of humour and it was easy to get chatting to other patrons . The single musician that night was a bit bland. Harbour bar has prime position and I always stop off here. I here the Guinness is the best.

Very busy when we arrived but the staff were very attentive and we got shown to our table. Service for drinks / food was fairly quick. We both had the harbour big burger with tobacco onions , homemade chips with pepper sauce. The food was very tasty and a special mention for the homemade chips (Delicious). The only downside was a crack/ crevice on the table which wasn't too good looking, needed cleaned out or scraped out. Not too hygienic which was a bit off putting 🤢. Overall a good experience 7 outta 10

I was here a couple months ago and have been dreaming about the steak ever since. We arrived very late, a waiter in another restaurant turned us away as the kitchen was closer he then went down to the Harbour bar to see if we could be accommodated and then brought us to the restaurant. We both got steak, it was absolutely delicious, and the banoffee pie to finish was also fantastic. If I’m ever back in Portrush, I’ll definitely be eating here!

Lovely place with an awesome atmosphere...

Paid over £90 for a meal not worth £60. Rump steak was cut thin and St Honore gateaux portion was small. Even the amount of sauce that came with the steak was no more than what came with the kids’ burgers. Prices increasing and portion sizes are decreasing markedly. Politely conveyed my disappointment to the waiter who took payment. May as well not have bothered: he just shrugged. Been going to the Ramore/Coast/Harbour restaurants for nigh on 25 years now. Doubtful we’ll be back.

Sunday evening for a few drinks, great live music and service! Good atmosphere and definitely worthy of another visit!!

It's one of the nicest bars in Portrush with a great atmosphere. Some of the staff were a bit lost when it came to taking a food order. One said you could only eat in the bistro, then one said no you can eat in the bar, but order in the bistro. Then another one said no they will send someone into the bar to take an order. The main course was lovely, but not as nice as dessert now they were wow. Oh not to forget the yummy Guinness

Beautiful meal. Met loads of people including 2 Australian tourists and James Nesbitt and friends. Not only is James a wonderful actor but a true gentleman and a great asset to tourism in this country. It was a really fun night and fantastic atmosphere. You are very likely to bump into all sorts of people from everywhere. Highly recommend.

Stopped by after dinner for a drink and had a marvelous time with live music and conversation.

Very cool restaurant and bar located in the harbor of Portrush. The food and drinks were both very good, as was the service. I had my very first chili beef pita and it was delicious! I hope it’s the first of many. ☺️ I definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Portrush.

Had not been here for years, so nice to see it has kept it's small bar charm. It's now like a Tardis. The bistro out the back was fabulous and the two floors up with comfortable lounge bar and views over the harbour are a hidden surprise.

Had 2 brilliant visits meeting Willie,I can't speak highly enough of the bar and Willie,he has a massive heart and a brilliant host and had everyone listening to his stories and wisdom,the Guinness is amazing with good selection of cider and a atmosphere to die for, can't wait to see you all again.

Fantastic atmosphere and friendly team including the doormen which is unusual these days! Had a great night out! We did not eat but have before and it's consistently good

Great place, try and get a seat by the bar and have a few tremendous pints of Guinness.

It was everything and more than what it is made out to be. The golf pics and autographed memorabilia is amazing. Cool place to hang out with a drink in hand.

The staff in this bar are what makes it so wonderful. We ordered food from the bistro to eat in the snug as we had our little dog and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. The food was also delicious. Our dog was spoiled and got lots of dog treats, she would happily have stayed there without us! Definitely worth a visit if you are in Portrush.

A very underwhelming and dirty example of a pub. It's the worst pub yet in 10 days of traveling around Ireland!

Lovely little bar - could do with a few more seats and tables outside but unfortunately due to the car park it would not be possible. Always go there when in Portrush.

Great, buzzy atmosphere. We were here on a Sunday afternoon at 6pm and the place was rammed (and uncomfortably warm). The food is good, and the portions are large, but it’s not really exciting or adventurous. I had a spicy pasta dish with chicken, and that’s all it was (there was a tiny sprinkling of tobacco fries on top, too) and I think it was £19. Side dishes are all extra, and will cost a fiver or more. A fillet steak will set you back £35.

Been visiting them for over 20 years and it is an enjoyable experience. We had the private dungeon table and the shrimp spicy starter was delicious! Everything was very good! Busy night when we went in and servers did amazing work.

Fantastic atmosphere. The music on Sunday was great. The only thing that could be improved is the toilets- they need cleaned more often.

Middling enough pint at _5.75, after a much better pint at the Station Bar(Trax, as was!) For £4.80. Hmmm?

The best atmosphere in portrush by a mile. We come over every year and always come back here. Willie always creates the absolute atmosphere on the bar and makes it so memorable. Absolutely recommend if you’re looking to have fun

A really nice place with fantastic food! We had the Bang Bang Chicken (Indian style), the Harbour Burger and some Chili fries. Great!

Cracker of a bar with a character of a manager, a proper old watering hole. Great setting within the harbour... and lovely Guinness!

We just love coming here for the great food and atmosphere. If you just fancy a fabulous pint of Guiness, listen to music or watch a band, it's a great social hub.

High prices for poor cooked prepared food and paying extra for your side to accompany your main meal is disappointing . Desserts over priced and having to pay extra for additional cream or ice cream is an absolute joke.

My fav of all the Ramore restaurants. Only two veggie options on the menu which they're losing a mark for. Both options are very tasty but would love to try something else. Good deals on. Service always good. Also can be very noisy - they could do with turning off the music so folk don't have to shout over the top of it.

Best pint of Guinness in Ireland surely. Dog friendly. Authentic cosy bar with live music on certain nights. Friendly chatty atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great place.

Quite simply the best bar on the North coast, probably the best in the whole of Northern Ireland - I certainly haven't found anything to beat it. Willie Gregg (the bar manager) is an absolute legend and he makes your time in this fabulous place a pleasure! Step back in time (the front bar and snug are like walking into a typical Irish village bar in the 1970s) and enjoy the fabulous Guinness and the great craic!

Eat there Monday 27th February. Very disappointed service atrocious. Waited 20 minutes before anyone came near. Food was ok but on the cold side. Would I go back. NO

Lovely setting, really friendly staff and locals, great live music when we were there (a Sunday afternoon) and an absolute gent of an owner. Highly, highly recommended.

Traditional Pub. It speaks for itself and is a must visit.

Felt like I was being robbed. Very high prices for what it is. Main meal prices are without sides. You have to buy those separately. See photo. Dessert was £9 but wait. If you fancy ice cream with that it's an extra 75p. Cheerio, won't be back.

I recently visited The Harbour Bar, Portrush. This is my favourite bar, they serve the best pint of Guinness in Portrush. The front bar is a golfers dream with all the golf memorabilia on the walls and ceilings. The staff are second to none and make it an absolute pleasure to visit. The rear bar is smaller but very homly and the peat burning fire is an absolute pleasure to experience.

Food is always good, tho it can be difficult to get a table

Nice bar. Good pint, if a little expensive compared to other bars in vicinity. Quite small downstairs but no issues and relaxed vibe with dogs most welcome and one quite happily wandering around us on our visit.

Great bar for Guinness and food, nearly always busy so get down early if you want a seat at the bar

The prices are ridiculous and far too high for the small portions. Old and dirty carpet on the stairs and the place needs a good clean.

My friend Lucy and I had the most amazing night in the bar and restaurant here. We could not fault anything. The service, the food, the atmosphere, the Guinness! Everything and everyone was amazing, especially James behind the bar who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. True Irish hospitality. We'll be back for sure.
