Food here had always been amazing. However ordered two weeks back and got hardly anything compared to the normal portion. Ordered tonight waited over an hour for fold food. When I rang I was told I'd have to wait an hour for fresh and then told me it was badically not her problem and hung up on me before I could finish my sentence. So rude. My food (fresh turned up 40 minutes later) cold again. I've never dealt with someone so rude before and will not be revisitng due to the ignorance.

One of the best Chinese takeaways in Norwich! We have been ordering from here for a few months & it’s been amazing every time ! We order over the phone for delivery & the lad over the phone is more than pleasant & the delivery time is always spot on - around an hour which is perfect. Our favourites are definitely the chicken curry (the most flavoursome I have ever had), the pork or chicken chow mein & the crispy shredded chilli chicken! The prices are also not too bad, perfect for a treat! 😊

Me and my family have been going to this Chinese takeaway for over 10 years and it has always hit the spot. There has never been a problem, food is always hot and fresh, the staff are so lovely. Prices might a bit much but it's worth every penny. Definetly recommend this chinese to those who live near by, you won't regret anything.

Was perfect but something has change over recent months. They used to blow my socks off, the veg in the beef and chicken dishes ware so fresh and not precooked , the fried rice looked different to every other chippy, it was not coloured with soy sauce, just naturally coloured and with a lovely flavour. Sadly, they have followed the pattern of every other chippy and added lashings of soy sauce. The veg in the meals , pepper, onions, carrots etc no longer has that crisp bite to them, the beef is not the same either. Meals are just average now, So sad.

The food is excellent! I have been ordering from Happy Veiw for years. Great menu and friendly service. The food is tasty, has good portions, and is consistently good. In fact, I have never had a bad dish. I would thoroughly recomend them if you fancy, what I concider, a darn good Chinese feast.

They are like the gillet shaver. The best a man can get lol

Food changes from good to medium depending on which chef is on ,, when you go in to order the young lad talks a million miles an hr like it's a rush to get you served but all in all it's a good choice

Been ordering from Happy view for about 5 years and I'm very impressed I've tried a few different Chinese takeaway in Norwich and London but I feel this is by far the best. food always tastes fresh and full of flavour portion sizes are good and service times are quick and the delivery drivers always friendly I would recommend to anyone

Tried this Chinese takeaway for the first time yesterday we had the set meal for two set B at £27 it was delicious and plenty left for us to eat tonight well done and worth the money I can recommend this Chinese takeaway to anyone and will be using this place in the future many thanks you deserve the 5 stars I have given to you 👍

Sloppy, greasy, overpriced food. Takes average 2 hours to arrive and is stone cold. Didn't include stuff we ordered. Person on the phone was full of attitude when we asked for a refund of the food we didn't receive and hung up the phone. It used to be good but never ordering that ever again.

Oh dear food was awful greasy gristly chicken balls that were stale or reheated tough reheated salt and pepper prawns rang to complain and although apologised won't be ordering from there again

This was a 3 star review, I've now edited it down to 1 star, the last 2 meals have been absolutely awful, the already small portions of salt and chilli chicken have got even smaller, the Singapore vermicelli had tiny fatty fragments of pork, very little chicken and a very lonely prawn, and there was no taste whatsoever in the dry strands of vermicelli, the king prawn balls were bland and tasteless, the chips were dark brown on the outside yet undercooked on the inside, Happy View has certainly gone down yet again in quality and quantity, my menu is now in the bin.

I was very disappointed with the whole service it took 2hours to arrive and when it did the chicken was tough and the pork stringy and the batter on the pancke roll so thick and over cooked I won't be using them again nor recommending them to anyone

Amazing food. Great service. Delivered with in 20mins by a really nice guy. This is now going to be my new place to order from. They even give you forture cookies with your order, little touches like that shows that they take pride in their shop. Honestly the best sweet and sour chicken I have ever had

Just had a chinese from here and it was good, however the bbq sauce was disgusting, the bbq and pork dish was greasy and not alot of pork for the amount you pay. The rest was very good. But I will not return unless the other problems are addressed

Slightly more expensive than most Chinese takeaways but this is offset by good quality food that's cooked well and service that's fast and friendly. (I cannot vouch for delivery service as on this occasion I collected).

WARNING - Do not use!!!! Once Ordered it took over an hour and a half to arrive. Staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful on the phone and the driver didn't seem to care at all. Were repeatedly told the order was out for delivery when it clearly wasn't. Once it arrived pretty much everything was horrible and inedible. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!

Most of the time the food is of an excellent quality. Sometimes the rice and chow mein is too dry. But, after trying many Chinese takeaways in Norwich, this is the best.

The service is poor, twice we have ordered here for delivery first time they were longer then an hour they said . the second time they said it will be one hour and twenty mins, we asked them make sure its no longer than that ,its was two hours we had to wait for the delivery . So if you want ordered leave london you might get in time for when you arrive home.

Excellent. Tried this yesterday as my usual was closed and now I won't be going anywhere else. Superb food. Try the crispy chilli beef.

Oredered mixed meet and rice with eggs,went home and there was just chicken with some vegies and no eggs in rice. We always order in Chinese places same dish and this was worst what we had ever. It was very fast,tasted good,but not what we expected.

This is my usual Chinese however for the past three times ive been very disappointed with them. Usually I get free prawn cracker with my delivery but this has not happened for the last tgree orders and the food hasn't been as tasty as it usually is. They put far to much pepper in my chow mein this time. So im open to trying new Chinese takeaways.

Extremely poor. Very late delivery and when asked what discount you can offer, said none and delivery driver left. Avoid at all costs!!

We have used this takeaway for a long time now, time keeping has got really horrendous, we ordered at 1900 for a 1945 delivery......time now 20 past 8 and they haven’t even started to cook our order!! So food already 35 mins late, going to be at least an hour late before it turns up, never using again which is a shame.

We ordered before collection, on arrival I decided to wait in the car as it had already been 10 minutes since we ordered. It took a further 30 minutes before our food started to be packed, in that time take away drivers came and left. You would get served in a restaurant quicker than you would at this Chinese on a busy night. The fact we were told 20 minutes is what makes it bad, why lie.

The food is good, but they can't be relied upon to deliver on time. Add 20 or 30 minutes to whatever delivery time they state, and then you won't be disappointed.

I used not to order Chinese takeaway as I was always disappointed. Happy View has allowed me to eat Chinese takeaway again as their ingredients are good quality, their dishes tasty and not over-salted and laden with MSG, and their variety of options is excellent. I'm not veggie but there are loads of great non-meat options too. I particularly enjoy the spare ribs, chicken balls, Kung po chicken, Singapore fried rice and roast pork chow main.

Used to be great chinese. In recent years an phone order takes two hours with no apology. Went from great to zero. Full of apologies but no delivery. Lasy five deliveries 2hrs plus. Shocking.

Good quality foods, big portions.

Just under 2 hours to be delivered once it was items were missing. Rang to ask for them to be delivered, but was told it would be another 2 hours. Rude on the phone. Don't recommend.

Awful restaurant. Took 2.5 hrs to deliver a simple order because it was raining?!? Gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again, this time it was going to take 2 hrs on a Sunday because they'd taken on too many orders and couldn't deliver so cancelled my order their end! If you actually want your food before you have to go to bed do not order from this restaurant!

Great service , food was ready in less than 10 mins. Were also really friendly & helpful & the Tofu was was cooked properly. Defiantly enjoyed my Sunday dinner. Highly recommend.

Tofu cooked perfectly! All of the food was really nice, not too greasy. Just check if you are veggie as some dishes will have fish sauce unless you ask for it without (same for all asian places really) Will eat there again for sure!

Only started using this Chinese now that they deliver to us. Best Chinese we have had in a very long time. Service is fast and polite, and the food quality and taste are excellent. This is now our go to Chinese.

Quick delivery times and tasty food, however recently suffering from very greasy dishes. Would have easily said previously best in the city.

Cracking delivery Chinese. We moved to the other side of Norwich and after trying a few locals we still order from here and are happy to wait the extra time.

Food is ok, but the service horrific! Waited for nearly 2 hours when was told 45 minutes. When I called to chase it up, the manager rudely said its on its way. No apology nothing
