Happy Munchy Box in Falkirk

Food was beyond late. Delivery said 8pm, received the food closer to 10pm. Like others stated delivery was a young boy. The food was not in the best condition. Normally the food is nice but on this occasion it didn’t taste right. Waiting so long for food on a weeknight is ridiculous.

The food is fine. Normal Chinese takeaway food. The delivery service is awful. We’ve ordered twice. First time we waited 2hrs and 40mins and it would’ve been longer had I not phoned to complain as the delivery driver was told to come to us first. I maintained I wouldn’t go back but my husband wanted to order so we gave it a chance on a Tuesday night. Ordered at 7.20pm, delivery estimate was 8.05pm. That was then changed to 8.40pm. I phoned at 8.55pm to query if it would be much longer. I was told it had left the shop 5 minutes ago. It eventually arrived at 9.15pm. If you want to try it then definitely go and collect. We won’t be using again.

Got the munchy box the noodles with beef were dry no taste to them they were just plain.The chips tasted like reheat.the rest off the items were ok

Food arrived hours after ordering, absolutely dripping in grease chips, majority of box was chips. 2 ribs if lucky. Phoned to complain and the managers attitude was vile! Avoid like the plauge!

Food tasted stale and reheated was not worth the money at all. Got it via falkirk eats and didn't have the option to get a refund

Ordered Food over Falkirk Eats app it arrived hours late, stale the delivery driver didn't care and restaurant staff were are abusive and not helpufl at all. There is no recourse and I wont get a refund, Do not use the Falkirk Eats App and do not order from here!!!

This food is fresh and incredibly tasty! Choice of various boxes that feed 4, 5, 6 people. You can choose from anything on the many, with exception of a few dishes. Value for money!! The store smells very bad of smokey oil, which made me wait outside for my food. They should leave the door open for ventilation. Clean, though.

Ordered from here for my birthday meal. Ordered at 2105 and it arrived at 2338. Tried getting foodhub to chase it up and was promised they would add something to the order to make up for slow delivery. This never arrived with the order and no apology either. No takeaway should get away wi taking nearly 3 hrs from ordering to delivery. Will never go back and will tell family friends and collegues to streer clear as well. What was a decent birthday was ruined by the shockingly bad service from here. Never again

Waiting over 2 hour for delivery food was warm not hot worst Chinese will not be back couldnt eat it poor quality off food

Got large munchy box. Everything was very bland. No taste to the curry sauce or satay sauce. The peking ribs had no flavour. The chicken balls were the best part and the separate sweet and sour sauce they came with was nice. Char sui was very thick cut, so was very chewy. Some of it couldn't be finished. Think overall half went in bin. Portions are very generous, but just no flavour.

Fast service and friendly staff.

1hr 45 for delivery. More onion than anything ealse. Wont be in a hurry to go back and certainly not recommend to anyone. Gutted ad heard really good things but left Gutted

Order last night took way longer than normal then to make everything worse I found a long metal string thing In my food put me off whole order got offered a partial refund not happy when put off whole order and didn’t eat the rest.

The food was really bad, what little taste i could get was spoiled by the starnge chemical after taste. The curry had congealed by the time i got it home (less than 20 mins). Satay sauce was just horrible, nothing like satay sauce. They dont take card even though they have a card machine at the counter (apparantly its for online and phone only...) ive had a horrible after taste of said chemicals the day after, really poor and disapointing.

Not good. While waiting a LONG time for delivery the food was an utter disappointment. We got 4 item boxes and the chips were brown and chewy! The rice and noodles were horrible, weird taste. Just not nice at all. Waste of almost £40

We had booked a wee hot tub weekend and we really struggle to find good Chinese food,the hubby had a wee look and found this place.he phoned up the day before to make sure we could get a delivery and the young lady enquired about where we were staying and reassured us that we could.well when we phoned up a few days later she remembered talking to him!! We had a good look at the menu and decided on a munchy box each(total piggery) and opted for 5 each. I went for ribs,chicken satay noodles,crispy honey chilli beef,sweet and sour chicken balls and chips.husband went for beef and green pepper in black bean sauce,chicken curry,chicken chow mean,salt and pepper chips and shredded chilli chicken.our order was taken swiftly and all communication was brilliant. We did not wait long and the lady who delivered was lovely and so friendly, she did tell us the food was piping hot which it was and asked if it was for 2 of us(again porkers) and laughed when we said it was. Oh my giddy aunt!!!when we opened the boxes up we just burst out laughing at how much food there was!!! So if you do order 1 box will do 2 or more people!! I'm fussy so that was the reason for the 2 boxes... anyway well I can only say thee best chinese food we have had in a very long time!!cooked to perfection,the crispy beef was delicious and had that crunch I love!satay noodles were amazing!!and the rest of it was just as good!!hubby said best chicken curry he's ever had and he is a fussy mofo!! Again 1 box will do 2 or more people with other sides. We are in Fife and will be over to get another because it was that good!! So thank you all from Pod 6 at weedingshall lodges you made our food dreams come true!!although we gained a few pounds...sooooo worth it.

Defo recommend!!!! Had the large munchy box for 2 people to share was plenty of food. Good quality food!!!

Food was reasonable quality but delivery took 2 hours from the point of order. When I phoned up to check on the order I was told the order was going to Westquarter which is nowhere near where I live. Food finally arrived and the box had obviously been dropped and mixed everything in the box up. Noone apologised for the delay at any point, they just said they were busy. Won't be using them again I'm afraid.

Quick, no-nonsense service, and very handy for Falkirk High station. Large portions and very tasty. The only thing to be aware of is that payment is cash only.

Superb, everything I have had from this place is fresh, hot, and tasty, and the price is spot on. The chicken, beef, pork, and prawns are all fresh and cooked to perfection, no chewy meat or fish here, all sauces are great, no tasteless gloop like in other places, the Rice is shortgrain, tender, and moorish. The grill boxes are great deals, and its best to keep an eye on socials, as they post offers. You wont get a better plate of Chinese Food 5/5

Ordered takeaway from here a few times and always really impressed with the quality and quantity of food. Their delivery drivers are always really nice too!

We had the 6 portion munchy box tonight, and we were really looking forward to it. The food was hot and tasty, though I was very disappointed that one of the dishes was not what we asked for, and another one which we did ask for was poor portion wise. Another dish we asked for was noodles with chicken. Most of the box was filled with noodles. So I wouldn't advise asking for this in a munchybox. The delivery guy was very nice.

No long on delivery however when I called to change my orange chicken to duck in orange they took my wife's shredded chicken off and gave me the chicken in orange sauce and the duck in orange sauce phoned back but boss said it wasn't there fault it was mines and then the lady on the phone said it was her fault witch it was a genuine mistake but wouldn't change the order and wouldnt give me the dish for what I have already paid for and was wanting me to pay for it ended up going up having to go to another shop order the same as I had loads of hairs in my food so wasted £30 for nothing

My wife and i had our first munchy box yesterday .4 piece each .paid online and gave a time for 1835 pick up .wow .best food ive tasted in a while and filling .will be using again ..

Absolute fantastic rice and chicken dishes. Shop is cash only however, definitely a front for some crime business but the food is worth it.

Tried here for the 1st time the other night and it was amazing. Delicious food, well definitely be back. We all got the 6 item munchy box we chose Beef Satay Noodles, Chicken Schezuan, BBQ Ribs, Crispy Shredded Honey Chilli Chicken, Chicken Curry and Salt and Pepper Chicken. All really tasty. Also got fried rice. 10/10. Can't wait for next order.

Just 5 minutes from us. I had completely gone off Chinese and takaway in general. Portion size huge, maybe because we pick up is always roasting. My vegetarian daughter loves the tofu dishes. Best fresh prawn toast, generous with their king prawns in those dishes. I am an avid home cook and difficult to please. During last two years of lockdown I have never once been dissapointed. Truly yummy. Also, not expensive.

Awful, the worst chinese food I've ever had, everything greasy and horrible, no flavour, avoid.

Food took 2 hours phoned after one hour said it was on route then took another hour everything was soggy the spring rolls broke in half as I lifted them from the sheer sogg mate,and all of that for £25 pound

Tried the 4 item munchy box and it was great well worth the money

Great food and service on 19 September. We had satay chicken noodles and lemon chicken with egg fried rice. Generous helpings too.
