Great range of food with super quick preparation, especially if you order on premises. Sadly owners are moving on from 8 May 25, though think it will stay open.

Wonderful food been coming here for years they never disapoint :)

Unfortunately the food was very greasy, as though the oil had not reached the correct temperature. My food was not very tasty and left me with discomfort due to the oily food. I will try again at a later time but expectations are low. This take away uses cards and has delivery options. It therefore has many positives , but the food is the seller and needs to be improved.

Very dissapounted after using Happy House for years. Last week no meat in Special Foo Yung. Yesterday so salty due to msg i threw it in the bin. Will be trying elsewhere.

Used to use this place regularly, I think it is under new ownership and guess what……They now only open Mon to Thurs??? You don’t deserve to get any custom, I’ve never known a Chinese not to be open at weekends, incredible! You have now lost a very loyal customer.

Without a Doubt the best Chinese in Baildon I've been ordering here for over 25 years Original owners I'm not Sure if they're family But it's still the best quality Chinese in the area

My usual takeaway has been inconsistent recently, Usually my favourite in the area for salt and pepper ribs. Recently They have been arriving mainly super salty for a few times, then last night no flavour at all and tough, it's almost like now we accept one will happen, tough/too salty /no flavour. Spring rolls, were greasy offerings and just beansprouts mainly, no flavour. Can be lovely and crisp, however again inconsistent Personally not a fan of most of the main course dishes on offer, find them generic sugary offerings for the English palate or boxes of goop, my family do like there fried rice dishes however Have had there curried dishes on occasions, varies from acceptable to an over concentrated mess, tastes like a packet mix Happy house have always been consistent until the last 6+months or so Also they should be ashamed of the hot and sour soup, its possibly the worst version of it I've ever tasted, looks and tastes like a cobbled together mess, I described it to my wife as sweet and sour sauce with chilli and vinegar, just discusting and not anything like hot and sour soup should be. Think ill avoid happy house for a while, till they get back to old standards, I apsolutely loved this place 10+years ago and more, but recently feels like that will do mentality has crept in. 2 stars based on some dishes are more than acceptable and always fast service, but the inconsistent food will keep me from ordering

Well there goes twenty quid I'll never see again and this establishment will also never be seen again...overcooked inedible ribs sloppy beef curry..the once mighty have fallen zero stars

As good as usual...come to expect..give it a try.

Best Chinese takeaway in Baildon food is superb

Just had a delicious meal delivered and I have to say everything from the lady on the phone to delivery driver was great, so polite, friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. Happy House will definitely be the only Chinese takeaway we will use from now on.

Ordered for the first time as my usual place is closed on a monday and i was very disappointed got the chicken chowmein and it was just a slimey mess with boiled chicken that didnt looked cooked!and the noodles were very bland?very disappointed is an understatement

Lovely food at a decent price. The staff were a little hard to understand but all in all the woman who served us was very nice and helpful in answering questions about our order. The food we ordered was very nice especially the curry sauce and the chicken fried rice (with nuts) it was all brilliant. The waiting time is extremely shot as even when I walked across the road to the Tesco the food was done and ready to leave before I returned.

Aye, call me biased, but personally this restaurant has to be my personal favorite when it comes to Chinese take out, I don't see how people can find the food cold, since I now work there and I can have a plate of salt and pepper chips, do about an hour and half of work, get back to it and it'd be warm. So aye, I guess that's it. I'm going back to my Oculus Rift.

Had Beef Chow Mien - very poor - lots of hardly cooked onions with a bit of pepper & carrots! Very bland. Would not use this take away again.

We just ordered from here and honestly the whole meal was absolutely gorgeous!! The king prawns in batter were the best we have ever had light crispy batter and the prawns fresh and cleaned(no nasty bit)! The whole order was fresh and so tastey! Tried for the first time and will definitely be back :) thankyou Happy House you have more happy customers!

Poor quality food and lacks taste - used to be 5 star but 2 at best. What's gone poor ingredients and cooked poorly....

- no chicken in Cantonese style chicken - beef in chow mein (purple) - spring rolls watery and only 1 type of vegetable - meat very grizzly where present!

Wouldn't rate it any stars if possible. Ordered for the first time as I was recommended by a few people. The food was cold when it arrived as it took them five minutes to "cook it" and the phone staff are so rude and don't want to listen to what you have to say. Will never be ordering from there again. Waste of time and money.

Terrible. Phone "staff" rude and rushed the call. Delivery was late and tried to short change me, "food" (if you want to call it that) was luke warm due to delivery being late. Didn't attempt to finish meal for health reasons. Waste of a phone call let alone cost of "meal". Would not recommend this place to any one wanting an actual chinese meal.

Food is lovely, the staff very efficient, and the delivery service is second to none. Best in Shipley easily :-)

Fantastic food. I myself know from running my own painting and decorating company that customer service is paramount. Happy House ticked all the boxes, resulting in a fantastic meal with staff that clearly care about customer service.
