Happy House in Chesterfield

Fantastic Chinese, I ordered to pick up and it was ready within 20 minutes . They rang us and forgot to put a item in but within 10 minutes they delivered it. Fantastic customer service and brilliant food . By far the best Chinese around .

Worst service ever, except a busy night on a Saturday, but get told 1hr-1.5hr delivery absolutely fine with that. 2hrs later no sign of delivery and no one answer the phone. Obviously taken the phone off the hook as keeps saying user busy.

No loyalty at all busy night fare enough but we use every single Friday and tonight cancelled my order due to a nearly 3 hour wait was told 1 hour and 20 mins ....... then couldn't call had to drive to shop to cancel my order 😡

Amazing!!! There's nowhere better in Chesterfield, Started going here a few months ago and every meal is perfect, so delicious! Lovely people, so friendly, highly recommended.

Wow,what a brilliant meal we have just had ++. We ordered at 5.25pm and was informed there would be approx 1hr wait. At 6.10pm our food arrived (hot) in an insulated bag with the delivery guy. The delivery guy was very pleasant,the food was excellent (shredded crispy beef in fruity/spicy sauce, and a House Special chow mein) and mini vegetable rolls. The previous ratings encouraged us to try Happy House for the first time,and we were not disappointed. This will be our go to Chinese takeaway now,food tastes fresh,was hot,not greasy. Definitely give it a try.

Amazing food,,huge portions The only reason I gave 4 stars as for me Satay chicken is very important and I didn't enjoy that..wssn't peanuty enough and was quite gluey.Otherwise it would be 5 star!!

Chow main noodles don’t taste of much and curry sauce isn’t the best but rest was nice I orderd this as my usual was closed, still not as good as my usual tho.

Had the special curry & special rice. Our usual takeaway has sadly gone down hill, so we thought we would try Happy House. Outstanding! Delivery on time. Will be using them on a regular basis from now on. Thank you!

Well... I don't think it was a Happy House this evening! When I called I was greeted with no real customer service with a flat tone of voice from a man who I believe was the same person that served me my food once I arrived to collect it. which again - No customer service skills. ... However I am just wanting my Chinese food, If you don't want to smile or be welcoming, not a problem for me. Just a heads up. Anyway - Long story short I only had Chips, Egg fried rice and curry sauce! CHIPS - Tasteless (even with salt and vinegar?) Egg fried rice - Again, tasteless and sticky. CURRY SAUCE - TASTELESS?! Conclusion.. my meal was totally tasteless even with curry sauce! Impressive, really is..it baffles me All the best

Do not send you what you asked for even though they have it! Wont order again ! Finished work to end up with no food!!

Been trying to find a great Chinese takeaway since moving from Matlock to chesterfield. Can honestly say this is probably the last one we’ve tried but definitely the one we will be selecting from now on. I was put off as I couldn’t find a menu so kept trying other places first but there wasn’t 1 I was happy with this place has overtaken them all and now I won’t be going anywhere else. Many thanks

One of the most rudest blokes I've ever been served by in fact I didn't get served as I walked away from him! Never have I had customer service like that!!!!! I won't be returning! The place looked like it needed a good clean! Disgusting!!! Wants shutting down

Had a large takeaway from these guys whilst on a camping holiday with the family. For once the reviews were all spot on. We took a chance and the food was excellent. Everything was cooked correctly and the food was ready on time ensuring a hot, fresh meal. From chow mein to spare ribs and foo yung they even threw in some complimentary salt and pepper wings, prawn crackers and mini rolls ( we had spent over 50 pounds) but you still don't expect freebies and especially with the quality of the meal being as good as it was. Just like to say big thanks to the restaurant for giving us a great experience of Chesterfields finest Chinese takeaway 😎😎😎😎😎

Came across this takeaway as its one of the few open on a Tuesday! We had no menu, but the bloke on the phone was very helpful and we were able to get what we usually have. The food was really nice, definitely the nicest Chinese we've had in years, we will be back soon.

Fantastic! Recently discovered this place and really impressed. Food is delicious and it’s now one of my favourite Chinese takeaways. Staff are friendly & plenty of choice on the menu. Delivery can take a while but that shows it’s popular. Would recommend 😋

The best Chinese in Chesterfield for us. Amazing duck in plum sauce and salt and pepper chicken. The chips are good too, as Chinese chips normally miss the mark. Would recommend this takeaway to anyone.

Delivery driver adhered to social distancing guidelines when delivered which was great with the current circumstances, could not fault it! Just ordered beef chow main and Salt and pepper chips and my god definitely the best in chesterfield and I’ve tried most of them as I like beef chow main sweet and sour chicken balls and salt and pepper chips as a meal hotness to admit the chicken balls was abit soggy I like them crunchy was a little disappointing but the sauce is nice would highly recommended the chow main salt and pepper chips
