It was very good would recommend it and the service by the cashierwas good he was very polite

As Chinese takeaways go it’s ok

Loved my Cantonese sweet and sour chicken. It was as good as I’ve had in Chinese restaurants Husband enjoyed his char Sui with cashew nuts too. Delivery service was quick and food was hot. Thank you

Our food took 1 hour and 20mins to arrive, the curry was nice but both chips were dry/hard. Not tasty at all

We used to use this Chinese all the time but since COVID lockdown this Chinese didn't open for a few months so we started using another and we loved this new one, but this time we thought we would go back to our original and order from Happy House but we was far from happy. The hot and sour soup was neither hot or sour it was like gravy and not nice at all and the meat had an after taste so we didn't eat it. We then opened our main meals of chicken curry and a portion of char sui chow mein and again bland and not nice. Firstly the curry looked good but on tasting it it wasn't nice and the chow mein was just like eating gravy "BLAND BLAND BLAND". Sorry but something has changed at this Chinese takeaway and we won't be using again and won't be recommending it either.

Excellent food but person on the phone needs to chill. Very aggressive manner , speaks too quick and can't wait to get rid of you. Don't want to stop coming here but getting to the point where I want to say something to her . If she carries on then going elsewhere, don't want to be spoken to as if I'm dirt on her shoe

Stupidly expensive food,never consistent. Sometimes the salt and pepper will be lightly done and sometimes it’ll be burnt to a crisp. The rice is fine but too dry. When ordering over phone I can always seem to hear signs of arguments in the background,every time I can hear an adult yelling.

We've ordered from happy house for many years, the food & speed of service has always been spot on. The food has always been great.

Food normally decent but last couple of times been a joke, got my order wrong n food was shocking! Not one to complain but can tell you this now won’t be ordering from yous again. Never in my life have I had someone that rude on phone. Every time we ring she’s so rude. Lucky I didn’t go to shop n kick off! Not being spoken to like that when I’m ordering food from yous!! Think you need to improve on customer service n the way you speak to your customers jokers

Really nice staff,the little girl on the counter didn’t mind my boy constantly messing with the bell and even told me it was fine when I went to apologize,very nice will order again

Delicious Food.Despite a bit of rudeness but speak kindly and the young girl will start smiling happily to your arrival.Very kind towards my daughter she gives her a smile every time she enters

I usually order from here but won't be again when ringing up the daughters attitude is disgusting when asking if we can order for delivery she always says fine what else do you want she needs to learn so respect for the customers.

Brilliant food and quality service

Food was okay. The customer service was atrocious. The server left us standing there and walked off to do something else. She glared at us when we rang the bell for attention. She seemed very angry for some reason and it made us very uncomfortable. Only continued with the order because I couldn't keep my hungry kids waiting any longer. We won't be returning.

Foods always nice and a good price

Pork balls were raw in the middle, the special curry was bland.. onion rings were very greasy Wont be using this chinese again

How to start. This is far from a happy house, first of all their online payment method is a joke cancelled my payment so phones them to check on order at 7pm and they said there is no order then we ordered again but payed cash to then wake up the next morning to find they have took the money for the order at 3am so 5.20pm the next day knock at door with order. So explained and they refused to refund me then after 30mins of back and forth arguing they say come up for the refund to get there and receive abuse and threats and guess what still no refund will be reporting them to the correct authorities first thing Monday.

What a shocking place absolutely out of order how they shout at customers for their own mistakes

I always go for the beef curry they always give you plenty and its really nice

Best Chinese take away in our area. Staff are lovely and friendly and the food is absolutely beautiful.

So we order as a company quite alot from happy house as the food is generally quite good from there but tonight was a different story happy house got our order wrong so we rang back, the lady was very rude towards us and was very quite insulting as she was incredibly impatient whilst we was speaking. when we asked to talk to the manager she explained that she was the manager in a very rude manor which isnt anyway to speak to regular customers who spend upwards of 70 pounds on happy house which we found very insulting as we are not the people who were in the wrong. Finally the lady said we will not send you a refund and we are definitely not sending you any food as a replacement and when asked how to solve the problem she refused to help solve it as apparently that is a problem on our part eventhough the got the order wrong. safe to say happy house will not be getting any business out of us anymore as the food was disgusting and the service was even worse

Great food, very tasty? Doesn't leave that greasy feeling. Always recommending to people always order from here. Lovely drivers too.
