Best Chinese takeaway in Sheffield!

Ordered Vermicelli house special. It came with 1 king prawn, 2 pieces of pork and 2 pieces of chicken. Also ordered salt and pepper fried chicken which had no taste, was just chunks of plain fried chicken in a box with some onions. Don’t think I’ll be ordering again sadly

Although it arrived later than advertised, it arrived hot and was delicious. We will be back!

first time ordering and l definitely will be ordering again the food was freshly cooked the sweet and sour chicken was the nicest lve ever had and it came pipping hot 🔥 the chow mein, the chips and the salt and pepper chicken wings there wasn't a thing l could fault. delicious!!!!

the chicken dishes were a let down as the chicken in the were slimey and made the dishes not nice. Will not be ordering the chicken dishes again from here

Ordered for collection the place is filthy - asked for soy sauce to be cooked with the egg fried rice - they literally put the rice in the box and poured soy sauce over the rice -meal was completely inedible.

Best Chinese in Sheffield. Everything was absolutely fantastic as usual. Great portion sizes and fab value for money.

The reviews don’t do this place justice at all, I ordered the first time and tried their food and absolutely fell in love with it, I’m currently on hyper fixation mode and I’m having to limit myself to eating from here once a week . THATS HOW OBSESSED I AM WITH THEIR FOOD. My go to orders the Singapore chow mein, the vege chow main and the dry ribs with lemon and they are amazinggggg. I went to shop once and the guy there was actually really nice. And the delivery service/ guy is quite nice too. Deserves more credit🤗 my only issue is it opening at 5pm so having to wait😂but that’s a serious problem 😌

Food was good ribs awesome, but was shocked by how little curry sauce was on fried rice it was disappointing to dry so if it wasn't for the ribs meal would have been wasted 😢

fried rice was a little whiter that I've had from other takeaways but all of the meat, in the rice and soup was very tender. the won tons were also lovely. I'll be ordering again.

I ordered food at 7pm and after waiting the maximum 90 minutes I rang the restaurant and they informed me it was out for delivery , a further 80 minutes pass , still no food , I cancelled my order and won't refund my money

Awful experience. It took 2hrs 20 mins to be delivered after ordering through food hub. By which time my diabetic partner was feeling quite unwell. When it arrives the spring rolls were a cold, soggy, greasy mess, the curry was swimming in grease. The chicken had a crunch! The chow mein was cold and tasteless. Complained to food hub and got a £2.33 refund for it being 80 mins late. Shocking. DO NOT ORDER CHINESE FROM HERE OR USE FOOD HUB!

Absolute favourite Chinese. Really baffled by any reviews less than 5 stars - we wouldn’t have ours from anywhere else.

Do not order from here I waited 3 hours and still no order. Both the Chinese takeaway and Deliveroo were not helpful, I was told to wait constantly and still no sign of food.

we ordered and when we rang 10 minutes after they were due to deliver they said that the kitchen was down and had been down for 30 minutes. They then said it would be a further 20 to 25 minutes wait. We asked if we could collect to which we were told that it would be a further 10 minutes. when we got there, our food still wasn't ready and by way of apology they gave a single can of coca cola, on an order that contained 4 meals and a sharing starter platter. This simply wasn't good enough.

Like this menu so despite the restaurant nit having many reviews I decided to give it a go. Really pleased I did, everything was super nice and good quality. Arrived in good time and came with free prawn crackers which I didn’t eat as I was full but the dog is a big fan of them.

Takes far too long to deliver even when not busy

Ordered here before this is first time it wasn’t nice , salt and pepper chips had batter on and all the potatoe inside the batter had gone so was mainly batter , very sickly and disgusting , Hong Kong style chicken was cold in middle wasn’t really any sauce on it , curry sauce was like oily water tasted funny and the egg fried rice was full of salt. I’m not one to complain but this was vile food restaurant refused refund … won’t be ordering from here ever again

Fabulous! Genuine Cantonese style and authentic Chinese dishes. The fried wonton tastes actually like the kam lou wonton in the 70-80s. We also tried the roast duck, deep fried squid, Shing Chow fried vermicelli, and all are top-notch! Will definitely try again. Highly recommended for anyone who's after genuine Chinese food.

Was told order would be with us at 6 pm. It actually said on the app it had been delivered. Phoned up and was told sorry waiting on a driver and would be another minutes and gets an apology. When it turned up it was barely luke warm. Definitely not Hot like it usually is. We ordered it at 5 pm and we knew we would have to wait for it to be delivered. We spent £28 on food. Never again. The egg fried rice was like they poured a bucket of salt in it, same with the chicken foo young. Totally unpalatable so mine went in the bin. The kids was hungry so they ate theirs. I used to love this Chinese as my other one had closed. I won't be wasting my time nor money on this anymore. I don't usually do bad reviews, I've only done good ones. But for the amount of money wasted I think it does deserve a poor review.

Tasty Sweet & Sour and Fried prawns and decent fried rice but the the portions are about half the size you'd usually expect at a standard Chinese Takeaway in the UK. For some that might be looking for but it's worth considering that in the context of their reasonable prices.

Absolutely disgraceful ordered food waited about 1 hour 30 for food then rang up and was told would be another 25 minutes food still hasn’t turned up and the shop is now closed and not answering the phone. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE!!! Absolutely disgusting never going here again!

Ordered some food with deliveroo. We wanted Cantonese Roasted duck, but what we received was quite awful... extremely dry meat in a sweet soup... a completely disgrace of dish. It is a pity I can not upload a picture to show how awful was.

Absolutely disgusting ordered special fried rice ,it came in a small tub ,with Boiled rice with lots of veg and grey mushrooms 3 pieces of boiled chicken ,2pieces of pork ,rang to complain the man who claimed to be the chef gave me a load of abuse and shouted down the phone at me ,waste of money even the dog refused it ,NEVER AGAIN.....

This is one of the worst Chinese takeaway you can ever come across in Sheffield, the portion are stingy, and taste horribly plane, the most importantly i end up having diarrhoea the next day. don't ever try.

Tried food from here on a few occasions so this is not a one of thing. Let me start by saying the salt n pepper chips are brilliant alltho skingy with the portions also over priced . The chicken curry would be a lot better if the chicken wasn't slimey and like rubber . Also chicken chowmein bland and again slimey rubbery chicken . The portions are small in comparison to other local takeaways typically half the size of no1 Chinese takeaways on harborough avenue. And approximately £5,50 more expensive. So for this reason I can only rate them 2 stars and this is because of the nice salt n pepper chips.
