I have been going to Happy Chef for over a year now and every single time I have ordered from there, it has been exceptionally delicious and fresh every single time. The staff are so friendly & kind, they have great customer service & always make sure your order is correct! I would recommend anyone to this place! My personal favourite. BEST CHINESE TAKEAWAY IN LEICESTER!

Absolutely amazing food! Fresh, tasty and plentiful. I’ve been a loyal customer for over a month, both take out and delivery when I am feeling lazy, ordering at least once a week. Sometimes twice. Never had a bad experience, quality of produce is always top notch. Service with a smile, friendly and prompt.

Honestly the worse Chinese I’ve experienced a couple of months ago. I collected the food, took it home and returned it straight back to the shop and got my money back. I’ve never had to do that with any takeaway place I’ve been to. It smelt awful, the meat was grey. The whole thing tasted so weird. Avoid it

The food tastes really good and the people there are really kind this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Leicester.

I'm absolutely disgusted that after 2 phone calls to the happy chef enquiring as to where my food was and then receiving a call back with just a 'sorry' it's well over an hour late because I can only assume they forgot to make the food- this is unacceptable. My husband had gone to bed by the time the food came and it's not like takeaways are cheap any more. Sorry just doesn't cut it when you waste so much food from an order that you thought you would be eating at a reasonable time - sorry just doesn't cut it I'm afraid so GET BETTER!

The Chinese lady on till was really nice. We had a kind welcoming and had a nice chat to the lovely Chinese lady. The food taate amazing and was really fresh

Friday dinner went for some lunch... Not open at 12.05pm, no lights on even though it days open from midday till 2pm ...do yourself a favour. Go elsewhere
