Happiness Chinese Takeaway in Stockport

Got the supercharger burger and salt and pepper chips and it was very tasty! Staff are all sound as well and do everything perfect. 👌

Fancied Chinese as a weekend treat but the food from this place was awful. Quarter crispy duck was mostly slimy fat. We got about 3 pancakes out of it. Chicken balls were tough and inedible. Looks like we'll be having beans on toast for dinner.

Absolutely disgusting staff member Ali Left a single mum with 2 kids with no food due to allergies which they didn't read the notes and ali was very abusive over the phone and so was delivery driver on arrival very very poorly put together business Ali stated on the phone that they can't be bothered reading notes from Stockport eats Disgusted.

Am absolutely furious have used Happiness Chinese every week for 6 months and changed 3 dishes from the set menu box after speaking to the restaurant due to dietry requirements. They sent the box with all the original stuff and did not bother to advise me they would not change as i could have cancelled the order. I rang after being given abuse at my door step off the delivery driver and was shouted at down the phone, spoken over, told i could have a full refund but i bave to contact Stockport eats apparently. Ali was very rude and patronising. I will never ever use this take away again due to the rudeness. A simple phone call would have resolved this situation however they don't have to ring customers apparently.

First time I’ve used the Stockport eats app I ordered from happiness city the vermicelli was fantastic hot but no that hot that it burns your face off and the spring rolls were amazing

We were staying in a Premier Inn at the airport and ordered from here. The food turned out to be good. It was a little delayed arriving due to the driver not being able to find us, which seemed a bit strange.

We have eaten here a few times and never been dissapointed. We got the share box which was great, something for everyone! Also ordered separate food too and each time has been lovely. The staff are so nice and welcoming and will 100% be back there soon

AWFUL AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Food very late, stone cold and looked to be of poor quality. After debating on the phone driver returned for full refund.

First time visiting and the menu is amazing, alot of salt and pepper dishes and very cheap! Happy hour is amazing, although its 4 hours, not 1 but i think that explains happiness city!

We really enjoyed our meal, the spring rolls were amazing and so was everything else, so fresh and tasty, definitely recommend it, really friendly staff too.. 5 stars from us 👏👌🙌

If I could give it no stars I would! Where do I start! I ordered the set meal for 2. I can’t eat onions so put a note stating no onions with the instructions to knock & leave the food outside. Firstly when my son went to the door the man actually handed the food to my son (where’s the contactless delivery???), Supposed to be 4 chicken wings in the starter but there were only 2. Both the OK special & the Sweet & Sour Special were basically onions! Once I’d taken the onions out there was hardly any meat but it was Swimming in the worst sauces I’ve ever seen and there was hardly any meat. 6 pieces of chicken, 6 pieces of beef and 2 king prawns in each meal and that was it! The OK had a few peas in it and the sweet and sour had a few bits of green pepper and a few slices of carrot. Neither of the mains looked or tasted nice and were very watery and tasted like they’d been fried in old oil and so did the fried rice. Honestly I’ve never had a worst Chinese takeaway and will certainly not be getting it from here again.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered of just eat and waited an hour and a half for delivery. We phoned multiple times to find out what was happening to be told it was on the way only to find out our deliverer was walking! By the time he arrived our food was cold. The food was completely inedible. I have never had chicken that tasted so bad in my life. Do not order from here!!!!

Advertised on the window are the deals, so when asking for 2 of there deal which should have cost £12.50 including 2 drinks, they charged £13.70To the get home and open the food to find the smallest portions I’ve ever had, ripped off not happy avoid

the sausage tasted like plastic chips where dirty and greasy, people there were rude and the restaurant was dirty and unhygienic

Decided on a quick stop and a take away meal for my little son after travelling home late from Stockport. It was in the past a great tasting takeaway that I would have highly recommended and great value for money. However this time we ordered sausage and chips. (Bad mistake)The sausage tasted as though it had been cooked, left standing then re-cooked again, at least twice. The skin was like shoe leather and the inside was soggy with fat. The chips were more like the off cuts and the leftovers in the chip warmer. And that was it, they had been re-fried as they were also soggy and tasted of nothing other than the cooking oil. They were not warm and would basically be classed as “just about” lukewarm. The portion was so, so small for the price which came to the total price of £3.90. Now, if something is good I’ll pay the price, yes even over the normal price, but this was very definitely not good. As I’ve mentioned earlier, been here many times in the past, not within the last 12 months though. Sadly I will not be visiting again either. Feel very let down and will not be recommending either.

Awful food, late, food was missing from the order. I think people need to know as they could think this is the old takeaway and be very disappointed and out of pocket

If you actually want to eat - don’t bother ordering from here. They will take your order on Just Eat and then not bother turning up. Then they don’t answer the phone so you don’t know what’s happening. Then they take the phone off the hook. Basically they will ruin your evening. God knows how bad their food is if their service is worse than appalling

Waited 2 hours and 25 minutes for delivery. I phoned twice to ask where the order was and was told it should be 10 minutes both times. When it eventually turned up, it was stone cold. Absolutely appalling standards. Avoid.

Ordered through Just Eat, been using for about 8 years, mostly on time with deliveries, good food usually up to a good standard ☺

Great little takeaway, Food spot on, only slight irritation it the wait for delivery, usually from 45-60mins, Hence they lost a star.
