The best food in the area. High quality service, wine and the food is stunning at a very reasonable price. We can only visit here infrequently as we don't live in the area but there is no where better to go. Tagliatelle with fillet steak and prawns is a.great choice.

Amazing from the booking to keeping in touch regarding bringing balloons etc for a special celebration, brilliant table situated under the cherry blossom. We have visited San Marino’s on multiple occasions trying both the evening menu and the Sunday lunch menu. The food here is always 10/10, served hot and fresh with lots of options on the menu. It is our favourite spot for Sunday lunch, best dinners around. Staff are excellent, always fast service with a great selection of drinks available.

Visited today with family. We all had a roast dinner. I have coeliac disease and I was looked after so well. I had a gammon roast, and other guests had chicken roasts, nut roast, lamb roasts and pork roasts. Everyone commented on how fresh and lovely the food was. Plenty of tender meat, roast potatoes, mash, carrot and swede, brocolli, cauliflower, carrots and peas with a big jug of gravy. No Yorkshire pudding for me, but for the people who could eat gluten there was a HUGE Yorkshire pudding. Forgot to take a picture of the roast, but got a picture of my pudding. I had a gluten free Nutella Crosata which was delightful, other guests had tirimasu which was light and lovely, and chocolate brownies.

Lovely staff!! Fantastic food!!! Couldn’t recommended enough!!! My family (3 little messy kids) and I had such a great time!!! Staff was so attentive and kind for my kids which made this whole visit such a pleasant one!! Thank you!

We have called in here a few times, early Saturday afternoon before the football match. Food is excellent and quick to arrive, staff very good and welcome us back when we enter. Highly recommend and will return.

We visited San Marino for a family meal and think it is going to be our new favourite place! We've never been before but will definitely be back. The food was absolutely delicious. Even our fussy 2 year old demolished her pasta dish. The service was excellent and the staff were really friendly, especially the male manager. He made a real fuss of our daughter which we really appreciated and it made for a really enjoyable and relaxing meal. Would definitely recommend.

Food usually really good here, unfortunately yesterday it was average, scotch egg almost black on the outside, so crisp it was hard to cut. And cannelloni had a huge piece of star anise in for some reason which flooded my mouth with aniseed, requiring me to actually spit it into a napkin which just feels awful in a restaurant! Apparently dog friendly, but our waiter (older gentleman with tattoos) was extremely rude when I put my tiny, well behaved dog on my lap (just for a moment) while the girls made a little fuss over her. He snapped at me that “dogs aren’t allowed at the table!” Embarrassed, I placed her on the floor once more, only to see him seconds later fussing over a badly behaved Frenchie who was barking the place down. After this, while in deep conversation with a friend he came to take another drinks order, she and I weren’t particularly bothered about another and continued chatting while the other girls placed orders, he then came to our end of the table, and in the tone I haven’t heard since school bellowed over us “EXCUUUSE ME, do you want a drink?” We were flabbergasted! The poor food can usually be written off as it’s often very nice; but this kind of service needs addressing. On the other hand, the lady serving us was so lovely, we wished we’d had her all night. I was unsure about leaving a review but noticed others here have said similar about this member of staff, and wanted to add to that conversation because he is spoiling an otherwise very nice atmosphere.
