Hangin' Pizzeria in Conwy

This pizza was the best we've had for a while!! Amazing crust and interesting choice of toppings! Although if you'd like pineapple on your pizza, you got to bring your own for extra 50p charge, which we found quite funny. Ordered 4 pizzas and all were excellent. Worth mentioning pear and blue cheese as well as the wild garlic pesto one. Good choice of local beers and ciders to wash the pizza down. Atmosphere of this place is great, blankets are available if you sit outside and want to enjoy the view of this picturesque village.

Excellent vegan and vegetarian pizza - delicious. We are outside avd there are blankets, heaters and even little jumpers for your dogs fir you to use whilst you dine. Friendly vibe abs very chilled

great location the pizzas are excellent and very tasty at a reasonable price for the quality .well worth a visit be aware they do not put pineapple on pizzas .

Came in with my partner waitress offered a few more minutes to read the menu apparently that means nobody acknowledged us for 20 minutes then when served by a different sever who clearly didn't wanna be there my partners pizzas came out burnt and just bland was going to try the dessert but wasn't giving one more penny and didn't want to complain as the main offender was the supervisor so we went next door for a lovely ice cream.

We got a takeaway pizza here and Service was very prompt and friendly. Pizza was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Goats cheese and walnut salad was amazing! 100% recommend whether eating in or taking away if staying in the area.

Food was amazing and the staff were extremely helpful when my car didn't start and tried to jump start it, then came to check on us when they were leaving. So thankful!

Racist. Had to wait outside for 35 mins whilst other people who arrived after us were seated before us. Glad we drove 4 hours to visit Wales.

Made to wait outside by staff while they let others in before us. Some places aren't for brown people. It's a shame too, as there isn't much on offer elsewhere.

Didn't get a chance to eat. Turned up me plus 5 and they kept us outside for over 40mins. My Pakistani friend asked if the small table can move to a smaller table so we can sit down but she gave so much attitude. Her name was RianWren. Very beautiful but her attitude stunk. Felt she was very prejudice, my English friend 5mins asked the same thing to her and she offered to squeeze us in. We left and felt appalled would of loved to taste the food as I've heard good things and drove all the way from London. Not impressed..

The best pizza EVER! Need I say anymore? Don’t miss this if you’re in Betws y Coed. We ate in and were looked after really well by the lovely staff. The pizza is fabulous….

Sat inside and only dropped a star for atmosphere as nearly all the tables inside are large banquet style so not really a place for small parties or couples. However ... We ordered the Sauvignon Blanc from the delightfully cheerful young lady serving our table, to go with our pizza choices. It was refreshing and developed a softer flavour as it warmed slightly. This place knows how to use a pizza oven to good effect. The dough was light and flavoursome and cooked perfectly in the Italian style, lightly crisped and ever so slightly blackened, almost "naan bubbled" around the edges. Would guess they use a good Italian unrefined flour as my partner that has wheat intolerance, and as in Italy, didn't suffer one bit. The meats used on the pizza were equally delicious and obviously well sourced. Have to say overall these were some of the tastiest, well cooked, well presented pizzas I've eaten in some time. Even the fresh leaf salad was a delight. Crisp fresh and the rocket was delicious and fiery. My only tiny criticism was the garlic sauce condiment was also hot and fiery as seemed to be raw garlic whizzed into a mayo style medium. Would have been a perfect condiment if the garlic had been blanched or even better roasted in olive oil before sauce making. This aside when we are ever back in North Wales I'll go out of my way to pop back here for another dinner date. Thank you Hangin' pizzeria!

Delicious pizza and experience. We ate outside with the heaters on (inside was full). It was mediocre busy, but only about 5 minutes wait for the pizza. So fresh and high quality ingredients. We'll definitely be back

Really great end to a walk up to Llym Elsi. Came down back into the village and then straight over the Green to a delicious pizza. Really friendly staff, we opted for the eating outside experience, which was lovely despite it being February - blankets, cushions, and heat available, so we didn't even notice the chill. Oh, and there's sausages for dogs too 😀

Excellent food, the garlic, goats cheese and rocket pizza is spot on. Add salami to make it even better. The vanilla cannoli is quite good too

Great pizza. Couple staying in nearby Zip World Lodges. Called on a Monday evening to order for collection and pizzas were ready to collect within 5 mins. Lovely pizzas that were very fairly priced. Would have liked to order some chips too, but only side options were a salad or garlic bread.

Ate here far too often during our holiday. The Pizza's are just fantastic. The only criticism is it got a bit too busy and there can be a queue or wait on the food. Get in early and you're good.

Never had a pizza but they look amazing. I'll have to agree with my son though, best garlic bread with cheese ever and we've had cheesy garlic bread all over the world. Amazing location as well.

The food was ready quickly, especially given the number of people there. The pizzas were good, as were the cannolis for dessert. The one down side for me was the absence of affordable drinks. I had one of the novelty drinks they sell, which was nice, but no where near enough on a hot day with salty pizza. They were willing to provide tap water on request, but only by the small paper cup. Had they been willing/able to provide a jug of water for the table, my enjoyment of the experience would have jumped up dramatically. The atmosphere was great, especially in the outdoor seating area. I love that they are supporting a nature project. They also provided colouring sheets which helped entertain the kids.

Probably some of the best Pizza's we've ever had, really, they were that good 👍 Also reasonably priced which was a bonus, given that eating out can be very expensive these days.

We were in town for 3 weeks and visited on a few occasions as the pizzas were all superb. The decor is modern with some wonderful wildlife photos (the owner is a world renowned conservationist) and staff very friendly.

By far the nicest pizza I've ever had. I swear, sometimes I dream of this pizza, in particular a number 9 (vegan). We live around Wrexham and will drive to Betws-y-coed just for this pizza. Dog friendly, beautiful food, family run, supports ape charities, and has such an incredible atmosphere. It can get busy, as the food is all made to order. But it's worth the wait. Can't credit the place enough.

Well worth a visit under cover, we sat outside because it was busy, so no room inside but for the dog was ok. It was better for her not to be too busy for her because she doesn't like crowded rooms. The pizza we had was Christmas special Cranberry, and cheese, and Bri pizza. Was lovely. They had blankets for people to put over them for outside, and even had dog covers for the dog which thought it was a nice touch.

Went in after a day of climbing snowdon in the very wet and cold. Food was fantastic, best pizza I've ever had, maybe even better than the ones I've had in Rome. Prices are very reasonable, lots of choice I went with a classic margherita and it was stunning Staff very friendly, great environment all having a good time. Great place will definitely go back, an absolute gem.

Eating here for excellent pizzas since 2019. Great coffee too. And coffee logs for the log burner!

This place is amazing. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Everyone there just made sure we were comfortable and they kept checking up on us which was great! It can get a bit busy at times and therefore run of out of space to eat inside, but if you let a member of staff know, they will accommodate you as soon as a table gets free! Taste of the pizza was also spot on, would definitely come back just for this pizza! Oh yeah, And the cannoli are a must try if stopping by! Overall, I highly recommend this place 😊

we loved it. it was a cold very damp December afternoon but this place still shines through it. we ordered pizzas and I have to say they were the best ones I've had in a while. you won't be disappointed.

This place is a gem in a beautiful little town. We adore Hangin’ pizza every December but would eat it every week if they were closer to our home!

There were no tables inside so We ordered take away and were going to go and sit in when a table became available. We told the party who arrived after us this amlnd they waited a while before they just went inside and were seated on a communal table even tho they knew we were waiting. We went inside when a table became free and we're disappointed to not be acknowledged at all..... noone attempted to clear the table from the previous occupants so we were left with their empty cans and glasses while we ate and noone asked for our drinks order. We were in effect invisible while all around us people were being served and having a lovely Time While I Was left in tears......there were plenty of staff and eventually my son asked for the table to be cleared. We tried to address our issue with the lack of service but this was ignored so we left......nice food but service sadly lacking and my milestone birthday tea with my family ruined. Never again....

The best pizzas around, and the staff are friendly

We phoned ahead as we was in Llandudno (half hour away) to check they serve upto their close time of 8.30, they said they was takeaway only from 8 so we was very disappointed to be turned away upon arriving at 7.55 and driving half hour. This was such a let down after reading all the positive reviews. The staff was rude and made us feel like we were not welcome at all which clearly were not.

We visited here after a day of activities at Zipworld. We found the menu quite limited but found something we liked. The food was ok but quite expensive... after our meal we were looking forward to dessert but unfortunately nobody came back to our table. There were at least 6 staff members and barely any customers so I cannot understand how nobody thought to tend to the customers. The staff were more interested in talking and chatting to friends who came in. After 15 minutes we gave up and decided to get dessert elsewhere. EDIT: For the benefit of the owner...we visited on Monday 27th November for lunch.

Great little place for eat in or takeaway. Friendly staff and speedy service. Pizzas were excellent and with pleasingly ‘modern’ toppings! (Unapologetically NO PINEAPPLE👍🏻👌🏻😂). Sat and had a drink in the covered outdoor area while the food was prepared. Good takeaway option if you are staying at the nearby campsite.

Excellent from start to finish. Great, friendly service. Pizzas were excellent. I am gluten intolerant and the gf base was great, really tasty and crispy. Forgot to take any photos as we were so busy eating and making ‘yum yum’ noises. Side salad was great too, nice and fresh and contained everything it said on the menu which is, annoyingly, not always the case in a lot of places. Honestly could not fault this place. Wish we lived closer so we could come here regularly. Would give 10 stars if possible. ☺️

Brilliant establishment with a unique appeal. Location: this pizzeria is located right at the Betws-Y-Coed train station. It is surrounded by other tiny gift shops and food shops, and really overall is in close proximity to everything else in town. I would like to add...

A must for all pizza lovers out there! We always gravitate here for an authentic tasting pizza. For the meat lovers, I'd recommend number 7, with extra chillies. Great prices, and if, like us, you order too much food, staff will provide empty pizza boxes to take the food home. Diolch.

Beautiful place with delicious pizza's. I love the theme and authenticity of the pizzeria, My son is orangutan obsessed, so we came away with some goodies and i love that all proceeds go to the foundation. Delicious pizzas and extremely well priced. Good choice for everyone and vegetarians. Inside restaurant is quite crowded and small but outside area was better with spacious tables, lighting and heating. We were desperate to sit inside in the warmth as it had been raining all...

Visited on a busy Friday night and a table was found for us after a short wait staff were excellent friendly and efficient. The pizzas were wood fried with a good selection of toppings and all reasonably priced we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and dining experience.

The pizza is the main event and outstanding. We had the prosciutto and mushrooms plus the hot salami pizzas. We were attended to quickly at the door but then seemed to get forgotten about until we flagged one of the waiting staff down. They promote pizza and wine, but I opted for a beer which is all canned. Nothing pretentious or fancy, but hell of a good pizza.

Visited on a busy Friday evening, wanted a table inside so waited a short while, we shared a table with another couple who were happy to share. Food & drinks ordered. Pizzas were amazing quickly served hot and tasty

Pizzas were scrumptious and tasty nice and hot, beers were good too, cosy atmosphere service was great and professional will definitely be back, really recommend this place does get busy though if you don’t mind waiting.

We had a very nice pizza here. Staff were excellent, and we sat outside under the heaters. The atmosphere was very friendly and if you have a dog they provide jumpers and blankets for them. We will definitely be back.

Seems to have the same owner as the Alpine Cafe a few doors up but definitely not the service. Left standing waiting to order at the window for ages while the staff had a chat. Kept looking over but seems to make no difference. Eventually served and the food was great. Great taste and huge portion, but sadly spoilt by staff ignoring us at the start

Service was brilliant the lady who served me and my friend was super friendly and welcoming, the shop its self is very pert friendly which is fantastic and really cares about it costumers, the food was nice tasting but not my sort of pizza more my problem than the foods but had a cannoli after which was a 10/10. Very chilled out, laid back vibe.

The best Italian pizza that I’ve ever had, outside of Italy! The mozzarella was so delish that I didn’t mind eating until the last slice. Fresh ingredients, soft dough and pizza that melts in your mouth. Staff was very helpful and courteous! Thanks
