Hamza catered for us and 80 of our family and friends for the evening before our wedding. His falafel wraps were fresh and delicious, and his service was efficient but also fun. All our guests loved him and his food. Would definitely recommend!

We were met by Hamza with a big smile on his face. You can tell by the way he talks about food that it is a real passion of his and it certainly shows as his cooking skills are out of this world. We picked a mainly vegetarian selection of dishes with one chicken dish and a baklava to finish. All the dishes were a taste sensation, we have never tasted food quite like it and wished we lived closer to Dorchester as we would certainly be back in a flash. We hope Hamza goes on to succeed further as he has a real talent. Hamza's is based in the back of Tom Browns pub - you can eat in - room is fairly basic but when you eat his food you'll just be concentrating on the food rather than the surroundings. You can also eat out in the pub garden which we did, or order a takeaway.

We ate in - at the back of Tom Browne's pub. I love the feel of something that's just only just starting but that's going to get big. The room is undecorated, just tables and chairs, but that really didn't matter. Hamza brings such a friendly, welcoming and wholesome atmosphere. Then there was the food - delicious and perfectly suited our very varied tasted - from a restricted diet, to lifetime carnivore, to a cautious child. We couldn't finish it all - and there was the final delight - we took the food home in fully compostable containers - absolutely no waste. I wish I lived nearby, will definitely go back as soon as I can.

We stayed in The Casterbridge Hotel in Dorchester and that was right next to Tom Browns, where the restaurant is based. Thinking we'd try something different we went there for dinner one night and my word are we glad we did! The variety of food was great and the flavours and skill with which the food was cooked was amazing. If you go to Dorchester you really should try this food, either take away or eat in.

We ordered take away from Hamzas after hearing about it earlier this week. What an absolute find! The food was stunning. I have never seen my kids hoover up falafel quite like it. Will definitely be returning.

Ordered takeaway from Hamza on Saturday night as we were staying in the area for holiday. It was really easy to order online and I had already had an email conversation with the owner (to which I received an efficient and complete reply) as I had needed to check whether any of the dishes I wanted to order contained coriander - which they didn't. In any case Hamza called me just before we collected the order (which was ready on time) to double check regarding the ingredients of one item which I hadn't previously checked. Apart from 2 items (Syrian rice (butter) and halloumi) all of our order was vegan. We had a range of salads (tabbouleh, freekeh), dips, bread, potatoes, stuffed vine leaves and falafel. As per a previous reviewer the falafel were some of the best we have ever eaten. The dips and salads were all beautifully seasoned or were lemony and had the addition of walnuts or pomegranate or nuts (walnuts / pistachios) or herbs (or a couple of these) which added to the dish perfectly. We eat Turkish / Middle Eastern regularly at home, but this was the best such takeaway we've had in the UK and we would quite welcome Hamza to open a branch near us on the London / Hertfordshire borders. Please try out this food as you will not be disappointed. Thanks Hamza!

Bought from a stall in Dorchester high street on a Friday. We were served by a lovely man who was chatty and friendly. They were possible the best falafel I've tasted in the wetsren workd and it was a joy to chat to the chef.

Amazing authentic Syrian takeaway! Service so quick, staff were super friendly and helpful, we had a really nice experience because of the staff being so accommodating. We had a takeaway a couple of weeks ago, ordered almost everything on the menu. It was so delicious, all served in recyclable packaging and really clean too. All the food was cooked to a really high standard, flavours really stood out and nothing too strong/overcooked. Interesting thing to eat, not something I have tried very often but really enjoyed it and will DEFINITELY go back! Can’t wait for our next visit! Thank you, to the chefs and staff at Hamza :)

Table of seven of us, the interaction with the staff helped with the choice from the Excellent Menu, wouldn't normally have puddings with Brunch but it just had to be done! Everything was just So Perfect from the Presentation to the Taste. Not the first time there and will certainly not be the last, only wish we all lived closer... So pleased to have have found, FOUND!!

Stayed here in August 23. Lovely accommodation, spacious and clean. Vikki and Martin are both very helpful. Really relaxed atmosphere. The children loved playing in the games room and the communal garden. We might even come back for another visit. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

So I haven't physically bene in the building but I've ordered from them a few times for home delivery and OH MY GOD I'm obsessed. The dumplings are so so good, my favourite are the chilli pork ones and the spring rolls are to die for. I'm telling all my friends about them because this business NEEDS TO STAY OPEN for the sake of my dumping cravings lol

Shige and Diana served us the most delicious food with beautiful crockery at our place for the whole family (12 of us) - it was just great! Tasty and beautifully cooked. We feel lucky that they are in our town. Thankyou

Great tasty late afternoon breakfast and toasted scones. Friendly service and ambience. The cafe is a family run business and is located off the main square in Beauminster so could easily be missed. It was a Monday and most of the cafes were closed and the few that were open had only cold food so it was great to find somewhere serving warm food. Look for the orange sign on the square or outside the cafe. The cafe has artwork and crafts on display as well as books and is light and bright.
