Simply excellent. The ambiance, quality of the food, friendliness of the staff (the attentiveness was lovely). I cannot praise it enough.

I was uninspired by the menu as it seems to be one of those places that doesn't know what it wants to be, Italian, American, English. When we got there though the staff were friendly and there was lots of daily specials that were interesting. I think they should pick an identity (probably English) and then have a menu around that with different specials. The food I had was good and the staff very friendly... The best food though seemed to be hidden away in the specials... Bring them out 😃

Although only passing through for pre-theatre dining, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambience, and appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and owner. Would definitely return for an overnight stay if visiting the area again.

Attention, not worth the money!!!! I didn’t expect much when I got here but I was disappointed. We’ve had olives with bread and chicken as a starter. Sorry, but for the price (chicken itself 9,50£) it was less than mediocre. As the main menu I’ve had a double smash burger with spicy Parmesan fries. The fries was really good (compared to casual English fries)… the burger, sorry, was a empty shell of a burger. The patties we‘re either frozen mass food (which would explain the mushy texture) or really really bad prepared. It had no taste at all… and just the burger was 16$ itself (without the fries!!!!). Wtf… Sorry but u need to do better than that… Normally I would’ve given three stars because the food was eatable but for the price it’s a big no no.

We were bought a voucher for afternoon tea for two as a birthday gift . We have just been and we really enjoyed it the food was excellent and so much of it also the staff were very friendly.

I went here for lunch with a friend. The service was friendly and attentive and we didn't have to wait too long for our food - but we were the only customers at the time, so I can't say what it would be like if it was busy. I enjoyed the food - which was reasonably priced and well cooked and presented. A party joined not long after, who I think had afternoon tea, which they seemed to be enjoying. I noticed they had various dietary requirements, which were catered for. The only downside was that the card machine didn't work, and we had to pay in the hotel, which also had issues. It just meant it took us a while to leave! Luckily we weren't in much of a rush, but it's something they should sort out to ensure they don't inconvenience future diners/guests. The hotel/restaurant is opposite West Park, so you could also enjoy a lovely walk before/afterwards if the weather's nice! Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend it to others.

Went early for a quiet evening meal. The food was excellent, with a wonderful selection. Daily specials as well. The leek and Brie tartlet to start was perfection. Curry specially made to my taste. And the Pineapple parfait was the perfect end to the meal. The coffee cheesecake was as light as a feather. Service was friendly and professional. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. A hidden gem. We will definitely return to try some of the other dishes.

A great evening at Hamilton’s …. Again. This place never fails to exceed my expectations. We travel a lot, but this place offers some of the best drinks and food in the region. It’s a simple and concise menu, but delivered with quality and consistency. Go. You won’t be disappointed. (The pork loin is epic and the margaritas are amazing!)

Hamilton's is friendly, fabulous and worth every penny. You won't leave hungry and will feel like you've been looked after by your favourite aunt / niece / best friend! And if you need a hotel in Wolverhampton, stay here too, the rooms are lovely and you are guaranteed to enjoy your stay.

One of the best steaks I ever had , Maybe special occasion prices but well worth it

Group of 5 went to eat. Squid starter was good as was cheesecake dessert . However main of battered cod extremely disappointing portion size. The fish was about half the size of what two of us had had about a fortnight earlier ( 3 of us chose it especially cos of the earlier sized portion) hence only three for food.

First class visit. Really enjoyed lunch with lovely friends. Lots of choice and excellent service. Won't hesitate in recommending and revisting.

Didn't know Hamiltons existed. But what a gem. Free parking and a lovely evening of good food and wonderful staff. Compliments to the chef the Sea Bass and the Lamb we superb. My sister and myself will be back. Thank you.

Delicious roast, friendly service, good space for parking. A bit pricey

We found this restaurant online. We have been twice in two weeks. We arrived and parked opposite, but they also have a car park. You have to press the bell to enter the restaurant. We were greeted by restaurant staff who showed us to our table. For starters we chose from the specials board, crab & cod fishcakes with sweetcorn sauce and lamb koftas with flat bread, both very nice. Mains were lamb rump and I had the shrimp & langoustine pasta. This week we had mushroom, brie and spinach stuffed chicken wrapped in Serrano ham, I had pan fried sea bass with crunchy potatoes with seasonal vegetables. All I can say is compliments to the chef, both weeks the food is outstanding, presentation is impeccable. The chef clearly knows how to present and cook food. Oh! Dessert also from the specials board we shared a Lemon & blueberry baked Alaska, yum yum. It was delicious! Lovely decoration, nice atmosphere, nice music playing in the background. Lovely pleasant staff and the service is good. Highly recommended a visit. I plan to return for afternoon tea later in the year. ⭐👍🏽

My husband booked this hotel when we were staying in Wolverhampton for a conference. We’d normally book a premier Inn as you know what you’re getting. However this was closer to the stadium. Glad we stayed here as it was such good quality. Lovely room with fancy shower, overlooking the pretty park. Amazing breakfast cooked to order and lovely caring staff and secure parking.. We felt very well looked after. We arrived too late for dinner here but were able to get a meal at a little Italian just round the corner called Roma. Perfect. Support independent business. 👍

Me and my mother were initially skeptical as we had never heard of Hamilton's, however, we absolutely loved the experience. Hamilton's is a hidden Gem for their Afternoon tea which we loved. We're looking forward to returning for an evening meal at some point soon, and of course more afternoon teas as it appears they are themed at certain points during the year! Cheesed off a bit, early bird special upto 18.45, tried to book 18.15, could not fit as they had a 16 party...seats 40 -50, wat the heck, food was good tho, fresh n flavors, wood recommend...hot bread roll with blu cheese butter was good...would recommend n go again own car park, bogof cocktails upto 19.00 r good

Was a little skeptical as never heard of this place until too I was bought a voucher for an afternoon tea. The very helpful team allowed me to convert it to a credit towards an evening meals. The food was delicious, the steak cooked to perfection, followed by the cherry baked Alaska from that night ‘specials’ board. The service was also great, polite, smiles and humour. All in all a great experience and will be back another time for sure.

Food is advertised 12-4pm for Sunday lunch so called at 3:10pm so that we could make a collection to be told last orders for food is 3pm this should be advertised on the website if you can’t order food after 3pm company is now £50-£60 down on a single sale and we’re left trying to find an alternative meal so Not happy!!

We had a lovely lunch here. Great food and service.Would recommend. We had a smash burger and chips. Rather large portion but managed to eat it all.

Excellent food, especially the chef's special pan fried sea bass which my wife had and very impressed. Service was exceptional, from the begin to the end of our 50th wedding anniversary dinner. special compliment to Sat, for her kindness to pick up the bouquet of flowers that was delivered by mistake to a similar sounding hotel/ restaurant which contributed to a special dining experience. Looking forward to visiting Hamiltons in the future. Would love to try out their lobster.

Attended here for an afternoon tea with my son nieces and nephews for valentines day.. I had not precooked, however called on the day and they were able to accommodate us which was very lucky. The atmosphere is relaxing with a nice ambience.. but the afternoon tea is one of the best I have had in the West Midlands area. They provide a colourful array of cakes, sandwiches and delicious items to indulge. They also provided a child's version for my son who is 4, he enjoyed it and even ate my scone.. lesson learned eat my scone first... I would definitely go again and tried to do so for mothers day unfortunately left it too late, but I will definetly go again as its a really enjoyable afternoon tea, the staff are courteous with great customer service and the venue it self is nice and quaint on the inside and they have a cute little old telephone box which has been decorated, cute picture moment.. my child did not quite cooperate lol. Update March 2023 Well I came for mothers day afternoon tea with my son and daughter... it remains fabulous.. menu same as last time.. unfortunately again my children were not cooperating.. seems to be an occurring pattern... so I got a little frustrated and decided to leave, they packed it all up for me. Staff still helpful and great. I enjoyed it all when I got home. Went the following day for mothers day lunch with my mother and siblings and it was very nice .. I had pre ordered and the food came out in good time .. the children were much better and every body enjoyed their meals. Nice drinks and desserts too.

Came here today for my pretty And posh afternoon high tea Service was so nice Servered by young lady called Helen. Platter of delicious mouth watering food came out And very nice. And enough to take back what we didn't eat. That was placed in a nice gift box.I have tryed Hamiltons befor for Sunday lunches And it's now one of my favourite eating place With luvly staff Who makes you feel very welcome And nice hospitality Thank u

We went to Hamiltons in a group of 22 to celebrate a birthday. We had a 3 course meal and due to the size of the party we did pre order. All 3 courses were delicious . The flavours were outstanding. Everyone was served at the same time and the food was piping hot and fresh. Can’t recommend enough and we will definitely be returning.

One of the best egg free vegetarian afternoon teas we have ever had. They don't just do sandwiches, but also wraps, brushetta and paneer spring rolls. They all tasted amazing! We requested for more paneer rolls and added cheese sandwiches. The staff were incredibly lovely, kind and accommodating. I feel like we have found a gem of a place! I will definitely be going again and taking my family and friends here. Also, the scones were delicious! Rarely have I had a nice scone thats egg free at an afternoon tea. And the selection of cakes/sweet treats were better than most places!!

Had a festive afternoon tea delivered today. For my birthday !! It was all fresh, tasty,hygienic and above all cater for both of our food choices. was plenty there. Great value for money. Will be using again !!! Can not reccomend enough I will only use this company absolutely superb everytime I get a delivery ♡

I had an excellent Christmas party event here recently. It was a party of 10 and we kindly moved to a bigger table for a little more room. The food was very tasty and it did not take long to be served, I assume because we had pre-ordered. The meal cost was £30 for a three course meal and I believe that was more than worth it for what we got. I took one star off the food rating because I did not like the Christmas pudding dessert much, however everything else was top notch. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a good venue for their office Christmas party or just a catch up with friends or family.

We come here for dinner to celebrate every special occasion and we've now also been with friends for an afternoon tea. Afternoon tea was an absolute treat - each item tasted incredible and the whole thing was presented beautifully. Although it might seem a little pricey, it is really reasonable for what you get, both in terms of quality and quantity. We couldn't fault it. Every dinner we have had there has also been incredible. We recommend Hamiltons to everyone and anyone!

Love this place. Went for Sunday lunch ,and met old friends. Had the 3 courses excellent value for £25 pounds. The garlic prawns where divine Followed by roast beef with Yorkshire pudding and veg. Had sticky toffee pudding again delicious. Couldn't fault meal . Keep it up

Recently held a wake for my mom. 18 quests were catered for, and just as I expected the food was really lovely. In particular everyone enjoyed the fish goujons and the tiny raspberry dessert was just wow. The free flowing tea, coffee and fresh orange juice … what more can I say, everything about the food here is simply ‘quality’! Had a few afternoon teas and think it’s time to treat ourselves to a Sunday lunch. Many thanks to Sat and the team x

I ordered the pretty posh afternoon tea for delivery for our wedding anniversary yesterday. There's a great selection of sweet and delicious savoury treats on a silver tray, which came beautifully wrapped. I've had one of these 2 years ago, and I was impressed then, but this was even better. I'll have to recommend the macarons as they melted in your mouth. Everything was delicious and we were pretty full after, there were more than enough cakes for later. Highly recommended if you're after a special afternoon tea and Hamiltons surpassed any other that I've seen elsewhere. Fantastic once again. Thank you

Food good though a limited menu more burgers than anything else and pricey. No menu's still have to view via qr code which most places have removed now so that was a bit of a faff.

Great quality food and brilliant cooking, staff seem friendly and welcoming I have to say one of the very few quality foods of Wolverhampton im happy to visit again especially for the fish. The steak was ask rare yet came out well done however the meat was still juicy and full of flavour. We were not keen on the app menu as we came out to avoid getting the phones out. The last orders are at 8pm and deposits are requested £10Per head.

Perfect suprise for my husband the afternoon tea was just so delicious. Well presented, with lots of thought gone into it. Everything just tasted delicious. There was not one thing we didn’t enjoy. The presentation of the food was just lovely. We went for the vegetarian as well and you will not be disappointed. Would definately recommend to all my family and friends. This is the 4th time I have had afternoon tea from the Park view hotel! Best in Wolverhampton

We very rarely eat in the hotel restaurants of cities - there is usually better options locally. This is certainly not the case here - we ate on the first night and enjoyed the food so much we altered plans and booked in for Fish Friday on our final night. Alongside the usual favourites were some real treats. Baked salmon with hollandaise, pommes dauphinoise and salmon caviar was luxury on a plate. Perfectly seasoned, the chefs at Hamiltons know their craft and they know it well! Service was enthusiastic and friendly and all in all gave the venue a real fresh youthfull vibe! We will be back!

Booked afternoon tea. Ok . Everything on the plate that you would want but just something missing I can't put my finger on. Perhaps no atmosphere. No music only 2 groups of people eating.

I had hake wrapped in prosciutto with roast potatoes and peas carrots and parsnips with…get this GRAVY. It’s like having two meals on one plate.

Enjoyable dining experience with great service in a very pleasant setting. We enjoyed Christmas fare, but there is an attractive outside space for the summer. Well worth a visit to this little gem.

Went for an afternoon tea as we had a voucher from last Christmas. Was very pleasantly surprised to find we were having a festive afternoon tea. The food was brought out in two parts, the savoury food was gorgeous and very filling, then when the sweet treats were brought out, OMG, beautifully presented and so many, had to take quite a few home. Well worth a visit

Unfortunately I am under COVID-19 quarantine measures after testing positive last week. As a teacher, I was really ready for my half term break. . . A trip to London, a spa day all cancelled due to Covid. 😞 We ordered a Pretty Posh Afternoon Tea from Hamilton’s which we’ve had delivered today. Absolutely incredible! Beautifully presented and high quality fresh ingredients. Sadly I couldn’t taste it to its full potential (Covid) but I enjoyed what I ate, my husband loved it too. Lots left to snack on later. Have stayed at the hotel a couple of times, and had excellent food in their restaurant. Brilliant service and a great choice on their menu. Their Afternoon tea is also recommended, either to eat in or delivered.

Quality of food here is exceptional! We enjoyed every mouthful of our 3 course meal and at £20 for 3 courses we thought was fantastic value for money. It was our first time going but will definitely not be our last! Yum 😋

Went there on Saturday night. The service was poor, the menu was limited. The food was tasty, but not enough of it. Shame really, because we've been there a couple of times before. A bad experience this time. Not good enough.
