This is clearly a place for coffee hipsters and I was expecting hipster prices - and yet I was pleasantly surprised given 2 coffees and a hot chocolate for less than a tenner. Friendly service too and a nice big table at the back if you want to sit down.

Great spot for couples, had a great brunch there. The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome which was very comforting.

I came in for a coffee and a read of my book. I managed to find a seat at the bar which was nice. The staff here are very chatty and friendly. I had an americano with hot milk which was a nice cup of coffee but not a wow cup of coffee. I will be back to try a cortado or maybe a flat white which may allow these guys to excel.

I stumbled upon this gem of a coffee bar after visiting Daunt Books with is pretty much next door. I'm known among friends as a coffee snob, and find it hard to find places in London with really good, high quality coffee. Hagen, though, hit all the right spots for me! The coffee is excellent, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They serve their coffee with pride, which they should. Highly recommend!
