Convenient station, recommend to do a "bar walk", trendy, quirky, small, loud, music, sports bars it's all here, a walk from the station and stumble upon various shops, bars and restaurants

Clean, well-staffed and easy to access.

There is a metro stop. There is a transfer to the Overground train.

Such a large size of station which is offering you underground, overground and train services. Bit busy because of its all the services as well as buses going all over the city from here. Helpful staff and very convenient for the commuters. Defo a great hub for changing train, tube, overground lines & buses.

It's a railway and tube station

No lifts to platforms and as most commuting locals know, two unused lift shafts ready for recommissioning are available in the original station entrance across the road! C'mon TFL- Highbury is a busy station, help the paying public with lifts for those who need them most

Needs a lift the entrance and also to the trains have been modernised. Personnel courteous and informative

Be prepared to walk a lot inside the station to get to the train

Yesterday at around 7:20pm a man (wearing a denim hoodie jacket and white cargo jeans in the pic) went behind me through, pushed and zapped behind me through the ticket barriers, he was so rude! at Highbury and Islington train station as I tapped my oyster card on the reader , I went through the gates then the man sneakily went behind me and ran through and he gave fare evasion! Very shocking behaviour and the TfL staff inside the station doesn’t do anything about it! Beware ! 😢 I’m sick and tired of people pushing behind people or going behind people and it’s funny which they can afford clothes , phone etc but can’t afford travel?? the TFL male attendant in the kiosk doesn't care and just looks at his phone

Always elegant, eccletic with its well kept old Victorian buildings and street corners full of history. Many houses have blue plaque. Keep your eyes peeled and go for a stroll, never in a hurry !

Non wheelchair accessible on Victoria line

Used this station to interchange from the East London Line (Overground) to the Northern City Line (National Rail). I had to wait around 40 minutes for my train to Potters Bar, but that was only due to strike action. There is a very nice coffee shop on Overground platforms 2 and 3, where I bought a not very nice Christmas cupcake, but customer service was good. While on the National Rail platforms, there was a bin without a bag for it on the Victoria & National Rail northbound platforms, but there were other working bins elsewhere. The frequent Victoria line trains to Walthamstow Central kept me interested for my time spent there waiting. There are also some air shafts from which you can hear the southbound Victoria line trains arriving and departing.

Bit of a gritty station but a true transport hub - The two halves of the London Overground Orbital route meet here - Zone Two of London is at your disposal Plus you have the Great Northern lines from Moorgate to Welwyn and Stevenage It is an Underground Station but only the Victoria line stops here - it is the fastest tube line though

If you’re on the Victoria line going northbound and a London Met student, this station can be quicker to get there then changing at Green Park or King’s Cross then getting the train down to Holloway Road station, it’s a 10 minute walk or 5 on the bus depending on the traffic. The station has a 1960s vibe, is a bit dark and dingy but fine, do like the transport connections here but wish there wasn’t so many stairs !!!

Anything associated with the Arsenal I have love for. I recall the times when they would drive around the area in an open top bus to show the world the trophies they won. Highbury has a big Park which is a haven and very popular for taking the dogs out. There are tennis courts., a fenced in football area with netted 5 aside goals. You can get involved and join a team or set one up yourself to join one of many leagues. Your spoilt for choice with things to get that body in shape and using the awesome swimming pool, joining one of the many classes is a fine way of losing those unwanted calories, being good to yourself, your heart and your mind. Your bound to make a friend or two and you'll love the fun fair that comes a couple of times a year. People who live and work in the area are friendly, compassionate and kind.

Its a train station, late trains, lots of people; nowt more to say. Pub next door is great,🙏

Very busy, train canceled . Fumes in the passageway were disgusting. Well signposted, fairly clean.

A good station for access to North London .

The station staff escorted me out of the station because I wanted to take my bike onto a National Rail train - it’s clear on TFL website that one could take their bike on overground services during off peak hour, and I was there at 11pm. I had to go to the next station and as a result - missed my train. Please, either include this info on your website or educate your staff.

Do you know, I have only ever liked 3 Waterstones stores, because of their size and range; the kind of flagship: Piccadilly, the Bloomsbury store,just off Gower st,and Islington green...but this was a surprise: a smaller Waterstones with a great range of books,cards, puzzles, toys and even wrapping paper..the Staff are fantastic, I recommend it..

Nice clean tube station, does the job

This isn't a review of the train station, but of the service given by one of the Great Northern train drivers called Martyn driving the 8:15pm at Highbury & Islington to Hertford North on Wednesday 21st of September. The overhead cables had been damaged near Stevenage affecting the mainline and commuter services. Throughout the journey he was giving very clear and accurate and helpful information to assist people going on other trains to avoid them being left on platforms without trains.Several people went to his cab window to thank him for his excellent announcements, including me. He did all this with a bright and cheerful and very competent manner.

I was late for the train but the driver stopped for me so staff here are very nice but stairs are a problem

Sports bar with a good atmosphere!

Staff aren't particularly helpful. Waited an age for a member of staff to show in order to get through the barriers as the pass wouldn't work. Closed barriers SHOULD be manned at all times.

Probably the second busiest station, after Stratford, outside the Central Zone of London underground system with 4 lines or sectors going through. It can be very busy on match days due to the proximity of The Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal Football Club. Apart from the convenience there is little to commend this station, in my opinion.

Easy station to use. Queues on Arsenal match day typically around 25 minutes to get into station.

Busy Hub, but well sign posted with helpful staff

Essential trip in Covid times via Highbury Corner tube station. Reassuringly if not earily quiet for a week day in the centre of an international city.

Lovely station, can get slippery when wet and very busy at peak times. Wouldn’t have it any other way!

The Victoria line is great, but London overground? I don’t understand the purpose of the guy who stands there when trains to Stratford are about to leave. Instead of asking people to keep left on the staircase so people can walk down to the platform, he just stands in the middle checking his phone. London overground doesn’t come often, hundred billions time is delayed or cancelled and if it does instead of leaving on time leaves earlier.

The Great Northern platforms offer cross platform interchange with the Victoria Line, which is very nice however there is a lack of step free access to those underground platforms and require a bit of walking to reach. The Overground platforms have lifts and all services here are frequent in their own ways. A decent hub station.

This train is not good for timing always late always cancelled !!!!!!

Easy to get Around. All routes are posted and stops are as well. Hard to get lost.

Dirty bunker. It was my first time on the Great Northern. Where's the infamous colour coding for lines? I left the platform I needed because it had a blue 'Victoria' coloured line. Shouldn't it be like a plum/congealed blood colour? Yes I should have looked at the departure board. Still; filth. COYS! :)

Very good service, especially as upper Holloway is still under construction.

Pretty hideous at peak times due to poor passenger flow. Display screens poorly positioned creating blockages. No pink Oyster card reader available on Platform 1. No toilets. Lift access to Overground only, not Underground.

Busy subway station. But fast and comfortable

Pretty confusing, bad signposting for people in a rush. When you're changing from tube to train, not all platforms have touch pads. So I can touch in on platform 2, but do I have to on platform 1?

Nice staff, large overground platform

No doubt one of the best stations in London for connectiviely. GMCR, Victoria line and overground get you anywhere you want to go very quickly.

They need to design a better stair exits and entry, is crazy during rush hours!!!

long waits between overground trains.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. No beds, just seats inside these strange moving metal containers, and we were forced to stay in one of these rooms with over 50 other guests! Ridiculous! To add insult to injury, when we checked out we were somehow in Stratford! AND no breakfast was provided. 2 stars and I'm being generous.

Interchange between tube and overground can take a while if you have a pram or wheelchair.

I commute through here almost everyday and it's I small but nice and quiet station.

Perfectly fine Train station for getting a train from. If you are in the arsenal area and you need to travel along some rail tracks in a locomotive then this is the place for you.
