hair on my plate underneath paper, showed staff and he wiped it with a tissue

Ordered burgers the person serving was not even wearing gloves when making food or using spatula to turn the burgers he used his hands directly without washing . Very unhygienic,slow service Their hygiene is out of the window . Served people who came after me had to wait more than 30 min just for 3 burgers,most unhygenic method for making and assembling food.

Food is nice but sometimes chicken is red but still the best , the chilli sauce is my fav

Chicken tasted like chicken but the bread kinda tasted like eggs. Overall still good though my uncle's toenails clippers didn't get lost

Bit of a dive, but unexpectedly nice food. I like the chicken tikka burger meal here. Place is cheap, but decent food. not had food poisoning yet, so will keep going back for a quick meal when in ilford town centre. Nowhere to park though, so only good if your in the town centre already

I recently visited a chicken shop and unfortunately had a less than satisfactory experience. While enjoying my meal, I was asked to move from my seat, for whom are standing-there which was quite unexpected and made me feel uncomfortable. The request seemed unnecessary, and it negatively impacted my overall dining experience. Customer comfort should be a priority, and such incidents can leave a lasting impression on patrons. Despite the inconvenience, the food itself was decent, but the lack of attention to customer experience is something the establishment should address. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and work towards creating a more welcoming environment.

I think the ownership has changed. The chips were dry and the meat burger didn't have onions or burger sauce. Hope standards get better. Will wait a little while before revisiting.

Absolutely magnificent recipe! Great working staff at this franchise and always very generous with chips. The burgers are great the wings really taste beautiful. The location is in a easy simple place it's always lively inside the place is clearly popular the prices are decent. I believe the value is good considering the taste of the food you eat on top of that the customer service provided is very efficient even when the shop is super busy. I like the fact if you sat in they use plates not many chicken shops allow that when eating in and the layout is so perfect inside.

My food keep being cancelled an then they argued with me on the phone after making me wait an hour for my food. The driver said it had been delivered when it wasn’t. They said they’d bring another order but the same thing happened no order arrived and no communication or call to tell me what happened

The fried chicken is so delicius.Before I haven't eaten this spicy fried chicken .but the atmosfer of restaurant can be better

Got the worst food poisoning off my life from this place. I ordered a pizza and wings. The pizza tasted like it was reheated, the wings were nothing to shout about.

I use to visit this place quite often until very recently. Malnourished and hollow chips with no taste. Spicy chicken burger is absolutely disgusting, taste like some old Indian curry, serious level of low grade. Wings from the debilitated and weak chicken is like eating a rubber. Totally and utterly disgusting. They put the prices up like it’s gourmet, don’t bother citizens.

Ordered a burger received for my PREGNANT partner… found out it was mouldy halfway through eating and the lettuce was brown. As I had a takeaway I was also missing part of my order. Very disappointed would advise not to eat here.

The new lad on the front needs to improve on his customer service, maybe he was having a bad day but can’t take it out on customers..haven’t met someone so arrogant like him before. The chicken and wings were oldish/stale..I asked him if it was fresh “he said yes everything fresh” i went to my car took a bite and threw it on the bin..I wouldn’t even feed it to animals. This shop use to be mine and my families favourite chicken shop but sadly not anymore as it’s not the same. Huge improvement needed and please hire better staff…

This shop isn't good anymore. There's been change of ownership. The food is substandard and low quality. Service is bad and they forget to put all items when ordering. We went there recently, the wings were old and stale, chicken pieces were wrong, when we asked for something else. Next day we went to complain but the guy was arrogant and cocky and wouldn't refund. I couldn't return the food same day/ night because the shop had closed already. Poorly managed and very standards. The shop is rundown, dirty and unhygienic. Accumulated grease everywhere. There are rats crawling in the backyard that can come in easily in the shop. Do not waste your money here. You can see rat infested backyard greasy and filthy.

The food used to be good. The new manager has poor customer service skills and management is completely rude. They charge you and forget to give you your food. The chicken they give is also very old. The food used to be good, but this staff is incapable of making good food. They have no number as well. Makes you question why just eat or uber eats don't have this shop on their app.

I liked the chicken, chips were OK. Service was poor in my opinion. The young lady seems like she's trying, but the guy seems like he doesn't care. He forgot my order few times and was all over the place.

the food is alright but the place is absolutely filthy i didn't like it and i really felt sick whilst eating. i don't think ill ever come back there they really need to give a good scrub and clean over the whole place. don't clean after someone has eaten the toilet is very dirty honestly just clean the place up 😐

Once my favourite place and chicken wings but not now, the quality have degraded considerably and the staff are least bothered about customers, the wait time for customers waiting for take away have increased much for no reason.

The price was good but we were served chicken which seemed like fried twice.

The tall guy could be lil friendly and polite. It would be much appreciated if the guy serves with a smile and be hospitable I ordered £8.99 for my family but the fries were not served. I asked him to get me a box for take away. He felt annoyed. The food was good. I would be a much better place if your are friendly.

Hi I been going to this HFC Ilford from few years because my work place is near by them I've seen lots of counter staff changes over years but this staff they have now in May 2022 they just lazier very lazy gentlemen and lady not one time but so many times they forgot to make my order i am just sitting in front of them after some time wait when i asked them what happened to my order they make excuses ooh we forgot last week i decided to stop going to shop useless staff we have short breaks and they try to waste time i recommend to other shop near by they are much reliable Thanks

The food is lovely(lamb doner kebab), the counter staff are polite and nice, location is strategic just at the bus stop and less than a minute walk to custom House DLR. Nice 👍

Very tasty and economical. The new management is as friendly as the previous one. Visit this local shop quite often and will highly recommed to all chicken and chips lovers who like good food at a reasonable price.

Use to be my go to place for the hot wings and chilli sauce especially. Seem to be a recipe change as the flavor of the wings and chicken isn't quite the same. Over the years I've pretty much eaten through there whole menu so do know the place well I believe a change in staff as effected the change in flavor. Staff are friendly and the shop is dated but kept clean happy to back again but I'd stick with burger products eg chicken burger masala burger cheese burger etc.

Nice roadside restaurant with a touch of class. hFC had me coming back over and over again not because of the ambience of the restaurant but the tasty and quality cooking. Their restaurant is open for dining in and takeaway if you want to eat at your own convenience. Their menu ranges from burgers, kebab, chicken and chips, assorted drinks and variety of Indian local cuisines.

Went there and had a chicken burger with chips Very cold inside and tables were dirty and not wiped clean, food acceptable but that’s my last time when I go there 🤢🤮

Halal fast food restaurant at Ilford town centre. Quantity of food is value for money. Service staffs are very good.

I love the customer service and the fact that there is so many options you can choose from is just amazing I also love that you can eat in and also takeaway would totally recommend

I always go there but today was just not it as I walked in and ordered and bossman was rude. Gave me the wrong order and when I asked for a refund he said “NO” and started shouting at me in front of other customers, and when asked why he overcharged me for the meal I ordered he started shouting again

Haven't been to this place in 12 years and visited recently. Still looks the same (would have thought decor would have been updated), and food still tastes great. Recommend the quarter pounder burger meal and wings.

Food is always on point the chicken burgers are tasty compared to other chicken shops chips are fried to perfection and their wings are succulent

I had a portion of wings there two days ago and I got food poisoning I had diarrhoea for two days and was throwing up throughout the whole evening. Guys please do not consume wings in HFC! Unless you want to suffer from food poisoning. Disgusting! 😖😖😖👎👎👎
