Great place to eat we used to use the deli in leadgate but Gary beats the quality taste and freshness and price by a million miles, would only use this cafe from now on and would highly recommend you try it

The ribs came with a side of sweet bbq sauce and were perfectly cooked. We had the spicy grits as the side which were sublime, and again we had to fight over the biscuit. Next time we're ordering one for each of us! The brisket sandos came with onion rings on the beef. Onion rings! On beef! And while I only had one bit of the oyster po boy, it was pretty great. I'd love to see what they could do with shrimp.

Friendly staff and do a great hot sandwich among other things including a breakfast and various cakes, etc

Ran by Gary & his mum, Gypsy's Kitchen serve great takeaway food at great prices. Their hot beef or pork & stuffing sandwiches are delicious!!! They also do takeaway dinners, cold sandwiches, puddings & hot & cold drinks. Very popular with local & passing trade.

We come here on a Saturday morning if we've been out the night before, the reason for this is the honest home cooked food they serve, be it mince and dumplings or beef chips and gravy, every time it never lets you down.

Local shop to me with very friendly staff and delicious food at very reasonable prices. My go to for lunch, is their hot beef sandwich which is delicious. Would recommend making a stop at this place if passing by

Smashing place for something home cooked for lunch!

In my occasional visits to Gypsy's Kitchen I've yet to leave without a smile on my face. The owner is a lovely lady, full of chat and always remembers something about you. The food is served hot and fresh, provides good value for money and is ideal when you find yourself in need of a quick hot meal. Last visit the pork sandwiches served with gravy and chips were lovely. The shepherds pie was polished off in no time by my sons also. A great place to visit.

Great food gets though the day when at work (tesco express) good sizes and cracking prices will always fit everyone's needs weather they dislike certain foods always service with a smile

The food here is always fantastic. Great sized portions and fantastic value for money. The pies and curry are our favourites!

Love the takeaway dinners. You can get a tasty hot roast dinner or a quick sandwich, pie or quiche as well as the daily specials. It is great having this as an alternative to pizza, Chinese, Indian takeaway. The only dislike is that they close at 2 but I sometimes get them to put the meal in a container to reheat for tea. My favourites are the roast dinners, liver and bacon and the curry.

Gypsy's kitchen not quite a restaurant, but they serve the best take away food in the area. Good honest basic food I could become addicted to the mince and dumplings soooo good. Being located just off the Sustrans cycle path Ill bet its slowed hundreds of cyclists down! Still its good food that sticks to your ribs, great value for money as are the fresh made to order sandwiches and the warm pies. well done gypsy's kitchen.
