Gurmandu' Restaurant in Harrow

I waited an hour for 2 small portions!!! Shame on you!! SHAME.

I also ordered for the 2nd time some small (big) ones. The first time they were really big.. but they are normal, I'm curious that's why they're small, how small they are compared to what you sent me now. I also bought some beans with smoked and polenta, by no means "borscht" of beans without polenta, what can I say about these pancakes, the poor ones have gotten a bit old. The puree is top 👌something, you still hit the mark. Have a nice day!

I was served a cold meal, and it was absolutely disgusting! To make matters worse, I had to eat near the toilet, which was just as unpleasant. The overall quality of both the food and the experience was extremely poor. Truly disappointing!

The most despicable restaurant. The employees behave like a slum. Today I went to the restaurant and the employees threw the bread on a customer's table and made another customer feel numb because he dared to ask about his food that never came. Visited as part of an alphabet food night where we are trying different cuisines from around the world in London. Really enjoyed the food from here - we had kebabs with mashed potato, mustard and bread. Really delicious we were too full for the doughnuts but really wanted to try them.

As a first time to this restaurant I have to say it was the WORST experience ever!!! Very bad service, really rude staff. When I got home I realized they didn't put in half of my order so I had to drive 20 minutes back to the restaurant to ask for the rest. I really like Romanian food and I usually go to the other 2 closest Romanian restaurants in this area and they never disappointed me. Also your food was.. 👎👎 You need a good management and some professional Romanian chef!!!

I came from an hour away to have dinner with my family at this restaurant, unfortunately I only experienced unpleasant things. Homeless people are not only welcomed in the restaurant, they are even invited, they are greeted by saleswomen, or other category of people who try to sell different products, they walk among the tables, but I would have passed by all these if it wasn't another thing that made me leave, even though we paid in advance and didn't even get to eat. We had two salads in our order, but instead of bringing the salads to the table, or at least keeping them somewhere in the back, the girls left the salads near the checkout, until probably the whole order was ready, but then people came to pay, like I said, bums joking with the girls, talking and moving over our salads... I have never seen such disrespect anywhere in this world!

It shows that is opens at 10am and I been there at 11am and the lady said is opening at 1pm.

Am mâncat in seara asta la restaurant, mi-a plăcut foarte mult cum nea servit băiatul, in pofida faptului ca era full, nea servit repede, a fost amabil, apreciez ast! Mai venim!

Nu recomand în niciun fel acest restaurant, personalul e jale, am fost ieri și am comandat 2 ciorbe rădăuțene și 2 tochituri, cu câteva minute înainte de a ne aduce ciorba parcă așa a fost să fie am întors capul spre bucătărie și ce să văd o domnișoară gusta ciorba deasupra oalei deci așa ceva nu e normal și plus când mia adus tochitura o domnișoară care servea mia adus farfuriile și era plină de detergent de vase pe mâini și era cu mâinile și deasupra ciorbei mele, cum e posibil așa ceva. E dezgustător🤢

Unfortunately the long time closed wasn't good for the place, the girls from the till were not friendly and angry with everyone and the place is full of dodgy people starting with the entrance which they were smoking and making noise. The price is not what is in the menu that is shown in here they have been rising quite a lot for the same food. Shame about all of this because it was a very good spoken restaurant before! The guy Daniel was serving so nice and feel like home but i haven't seen him for a while! Hope everything goes back to normal soon and you can come and enjoy the taste of romanian restaurant like before. 👍

Nu recomand ..restaurant cu comanda la bar …eu sincer nu am vazut niciodata ..spatiu inadecvat..îngust și înghesuit ..aerul irespirabil din cauza grătarului in incinta .. Personal lasă de dorit …In schimb mâncarea este oarecum decenta .. Deranjează faptul ca trebuie sa comanzi la bar ..eu unul nu ii pot numi restaurant .

Mâncarea foarte bună, dar e lipsa de organizare, mai ales pe tura domnișoarei, daca vrei sa fii servit bine și sa ți se debaraseze masa la timp, trebuie sa prinzi tura băiatului! Am așteptat foarte mult sa ni se ia comanda, am macat de mai multe ori dar fetele de acolo sunt dezorganizate!

The tripe soup was ok, not one of the best, but was ok, but the papanasi where really good, nice portion as well. Don't go late as they will not cook some of the dishes, specially the ones that takes a long time to cook, this is not professional but it is what it is 😀

Very poor service and uncomfortable. We came and we waited 30 minutes until they came and said that we have to order at the till. Poor smell and poor staff. Would not recommend at all.

Am cumarat astazi 25/07/2021 4 portii de ciorba de burta. Foarte dezamagit, daca eram mai aproape cu siguranta le duceam inapoi. Vreau sa va intreb oameni buni, voi va bateti joc de banii munciti ai oamenilor? Lumea munceste pentru banii astia care va platesc voua zeama aia care se numeste CIORBA DE BURTA. 5 bucati de burta numarate de mine si restul zeama cu latpte, faina, otet si sare. Va rog sa respectati clientii ca datorita lor existati. Va rog sa nu va bateti joc de traditiile noastre si gustul mancarii Romanesti. Printre clientii vostri mai sunt si persoane care au fost sau inca sunt bucatari calificati, nu niste amatori ca voi.Tineti cont ca sunteti intr-o zona care predomina natia Romana si nu sunt singurul care a observat bataia de joc.

Am mâncat o ciorba rădăuțeană nu foarte gustoasă dar ok, și un ostropel de pui oribil o bucată de piept și o pulpa care erau foarte tari și reîncălzite cu o apa de culoare roșie care se vroia a fi sos. Foarte dezamăgit

Mâncarea e destul de ok! Comportamentul, din partea unora dintre angajați, lasă de dorit enorm! Nu de mult, ma fost pe la ei, și din experiența aia, aș avea și o întrebare pentru conducerea restaurantului! Deci; a intrat la ei , o persoană dintre cei fără adăpost (homeless), zis "China"! Mâinile lui arătau îngrozitor de murdare și infecte (cei care îl cunosc, știu despre ce vorbesc)! După ce a cerșit de la toți cei care erau în restaurant, cineva din personal, cu inima mai mare, sa oferit să-l servească cu o ciorbă. Nimic rău pana acum! Dar din câte știți ce de acolo aduc la masă un coș generos cu pâine (foarte bună)! "China" sa jucat și a tot răscolit prin coșul ala cu pâine, mâncând doar 3 bucăți. Intrebarea : ce au făcut ce de acolo cu pâinea rămasă la masă? Nu cred ca au aruncat-o!

Ciorba de burta la temperatura camerei. Puiul din ostropel mirosea a congelator si reincalzit la microunde.Sosul ostropel,caldut si lipsea usturoiul. Ar fi bine sa si ia un bucatar.Si sa invete legile din UK.Temperatura mancarii trebuie sa fie minimum 70 grade C.

Amazing little place wondered around the area and found this place had a look and decided to stop in, having never heard or tried Romanian cuisine it was an uncertainty but I was gladly surprised. Would recommend it to any one in the area. Decently priced and the food was OK can't really compare it to other places but it was a generally nice experience in a pretty bland street.

Draguta locatia, staful prietenos, mancarea ok, doar ca putin cam mari preturile pentru dimensiunea portiei. La platourile pentru 2/4 persoane, jumatate din mancarea de pe platou sunt cartofi prajiti ☺, plus ca painea trebuie cumparata separat pt. platouri. Papanasii sunt deliciosi, salata de vinete gustoasa de asemenea.

Mancarea destul de ok. Servirea lasa mult de dorit..in ideea ca nu ti se raspunde nici la salut,nici nu te baga in seama cand intrebi ceva,sau cand le multumesti. Concluzia: esti privit ca un fraier ,nu ca unul care le aduce bani in local. Si asta fara nicio obraznicatura la adresa lor. O sa ramaneti exact cu acelasi tip de clienti ca si personalul in stilul asta. 🤧

Good Romanian food, always fresh and quality food, the prices are standart for a dinner out, for a regular menu you spend around 12-15£. I should give it a try (food is grilled mostly)

This a traditional Romanian restaurant with North East of Romania influence, specifically Bucovina. The menu isn't very diversified. The food was below my expectations, with the Radauti soup having too much garlic and salt for my liking. The pork loin was nice, tender and properly marinated, but a bit overcooked. Way too many chips as a side. The restaurant isn't on the cheap side and a meal for two, 2 mains with drinks and dessert will take you back about £60. This is a new restaurant and I hope with time they will improve and bring authentic food to the area
