Great little venue. Saw a great band called The Hornets

Didn't try the food, so can't comment on that. I found the venue a great place, & with pub prices at the bar it was a much cheaper night than most other venues. Serves real ale too!

One of my favourite places, empty during my visit (which is more than ideal). Unfortunately the pronoun, hipster barman was dancing and singing along to his virgin grime music. Painfully, gut creasingly cringe cakeness. I did enjoy my half a swiggle sauce mouthful and will be returning at the earliest availability.

Came for a gig. Excellent sound, excellent beer. Great location

My first visit in many years despite visiting the Castle pub opposite fairly often. A lovely two room pub with booth seating in the front bar area and a traditional back room. They had two JW Lees real ales on sale but Albrecht treated me to a pint of Guinness. Very good. He had San Miguel.

Done several gigs here, bar/pub area is amazing with a good atmosphere, and the venue upstairs is small but truly epic sound

Nice pub. Had a half of Manchester Pale Ale (MPA) by J.W. Lees. I've read this is a popular music venue as well. Enjoyed the mosaic of Steve Shy.

Saw “the dirt” and “Deja Vega” play a magnificent gig. Great venue.

Came in here for a nice crispy pint and stayed for the free top surgery I was a little concerned about the health and safety but other than that no complaints

Dropped into this pub, in the Northern Quarter, last week with my son. The jukebox was brilliant, £1 for 5 songs. Would definitely recommend as a pub, and my son has also been to a gig in the venue above.

Gullivers is a very popular pub in the Northern Quarter. We stopped in one night for a couple pints. They certainly know how to pour the perfect Guiness here. The place looks very tidy & clean. Possibly a recent reno. The crowd veers somewhat younger & they all seemed to be enjoying themselves. Bartenders were first rate. We had a good conversation with one of them. He is a huge Man City fan (tattoo on his arm). He treated us well and ran a tight ship.

Great live music revenue in the heart of the Northern Quarter of Manchester. Live music and gigs upstairs. Supports new and upcoming musicians and bands. Great choice of Beverages. Worth a visit and you never know you might just find another great independent artist

Great venue for live music, beers and atmosphere.

Great little place for showcasing upcoming talent. Watched Dakota Avenue here and they were amazing. Look out for them....only niggle..the lights do not come on between bands and it is very dark.

Attended to see a show. Music venue is upstairs, accessibility is limited. It's a very cosy, intimate venue. Sound engineer was acing it, but if the crowd were to make noise, the nature of the room necessarily means it'll impact the show. Service is great, affordable, the pub itself is always pretty cute and cosy and had a great atmosphere.

Will definitely be going back. Lovely pint of guinness and a great jukebox.

I always come here when I'm in Manchester visiting the boyfriend. Really friendly and unpretentious pub in a great location.

Very nice pint here. We were just leaving when a small 3 piece band were setting up. So unfortunately missed the entertainment. Maybe next time.

All the bar staff were very rude to my dad- shouted in his face and made him feel uncomfortable because he asked for a different glass. It ruined our night and made him so upset! Broke my heart!

A small old pub with a very nice owner. Good beer 🍺 You have to get used to the toilets. 😅 But otherwise highly recommended. 👍

Only been here gigs. Great little venue in the heart of the city. Beware, it gets hot in the venue.

Some blokes at the table behind me started an argument with two women by the bar. Then upstairs during a gig a group of lads who seemed to have been let in for free were talking really loudly. Seems the staff might need to keep an eye on the behaviour of the punters.

Great pub, nice beer selection and concert venue upstairs. Toilets are manky and need sorting.

Great gig, beers ok and not a bad price for the city centre but the venue's a bit run down and the toilets leave a lot to be desired.

It can be good as a live music venue although at times people talking are louder than the performer — as a pub, I see no appeal to it whatsoever to be honest — but back to it being a music venue, it’s not usually well organised but still better than my experiences at Gorilla

The bands play upstairs over the pub (steep stairs to get there). Very good sound and atmosphere in an intimate setting. Drinks from the bar downstairs.

Great bar with a great atmosphere. Good venue for gigs size wise but not especially for sound quality, as some of the bands sounded a little distorted.

Great real ale old skool pub, hidden gem

Came to see a few bands last night, awesome live music from all of them! However not enough staff on the bar, one guy serving while another didn't do much, waited 10 minutes and even other people at the bar pointed out I'd been waiting the longest but I was completely ignored and eventually gave up. You'd think if you knew you had over 50 tickets booked for an event you'd put the staff on to serve them all. Didn't hang around for a drink because of the service, also needed to use the facilities but was told by other girls not to go in "because it's gross in there". Would see the bands again in a heartbeat but not sure I'd visit this pub again.

Went seeing Clinton baptiste, He was very funny indeed, the pub has decent prices and decent atmosphere but the toilets were like out of the scene in trainspotting.

Decent pub just within the city centre of Manchester. Paid £5.50 for a pint. More than a ticket for the gig I went to.

Not what it used to be. Could not even get near the bar as too many people sat at it. But by no means a bad place. Try for yourself. Afternoons are a great time to visit. Comfy booths and good atmosphere and live bands on Saturday nights upstairs.

Came for a gig, the venue is upstairs whilst the pub is downstairs. The pub was relaxed and friendly considering it was a Saturday night, and the gig was great, proper music in Manchester!

Oh wonderful drinks at a reasonable and affordable. Great for bands and drinks are perfect. Recommend it for anyone for a good night out in Manchester or anything else

First on my list when I arrived because of where I started. Good pint of Guinness. Nice music when I walked in. They weren't busy, I can see it being very busy at night.

Brilliant little boozer, with a fine beer and spirit selection. The main appeal of Gulliver's for me is the music which varies from old school punk to modern indie with all sorts of alternative fusions sprinkled in between.

Proper pub, proper dukebox, lovely staff. My go to boozer in NQ. All that's good about Manchester is here.

Grotty old man pub. It's excellent for live music and the drinks are cheap

Great NQ spot for local beer in a proper pub. Can be difficult to find a seat in the evenings, as it fills up quickly, but this is testament to it's quality.

This is a good old 'proper' pub in Northern Quarter. Good selection of beers, plenty of seating and friendly staff. Would recommend.
