Ordered a chicken curry which was well prepared if not slightly salty. Tons of flavour and portion sizes were generous. I still can’t work out what type of curry it was but none the less tasted good. Service however offers the biggest area of improvement. It took well over 2.5hrs for my food to arrive and I could hear the chef shouting expletives from the kitchen. I wanted to order some tap water with my meal but in the end didn’t bother as I thought I’d be verbally abused. The menu itself is quite random. I can’t quite understand the cuisine on offer as it seems to be a bit if everything. I’m hoping this will improve once the venue finds its feet.

The chips were hard and not very hot. Overpriced and not very pleasant . Small portion and really didn't enjoy it which was disappointing as was very hungry

My lady friend in her 80s and me were having a pleasant day and just wanted an Ice cream. We stopped at this window because advertised Italian Gelato. The man attending the public offended my friend who was walking with crutches due to a hip injury. She is under huge amount of pain and medication but that won’t stop her lively spirit from trying to go out and enjoy a good summer day. Is a way to take her mind out of the pain. My friend was asking questions about the flavours, the price, etc… as a pensioner and client she has the right to enquires. I’m not sure what he saw on my friend but that man in the counter (perhaps in his menopause) right away tall her if she was dunk? It was only midday. How rude, and what an aggressive customer service that was. My friend told him right away she was holding herself onto crutches, and that she was under medication. She told him he should not be working in that place. The man didn’t apologise. He just avoided the fact that he insulted my disabled lady friend in her 80s and wanted to change the conversation. We shouldn’t have bought the expensive scoop of ice cream. £7 for two ice creams. One in a cone and the other one in a small paper cup. They were tiny scoops that looks like one. The point is that that man that Saturday 20th July should not be serving to the public.

Chips were good. Haddock was OK but the batter was a bit greasy. Seats and general decor quite shabby and in need of a refurb. Overall nothing special.

* You have to pay on ordering so you have no chance of refund* We visited here in the 21st March for lunch as not many places open as start of the season. Restaurant was empty and as we only wanted a quick lunch we thought would be perfect with children. How wrong you can be food was awful chips we’re definitely recooked dry, even our three year old said how bad they were, complained to staff who said that we would have to complain by email as they couldn’t refund as some food had been eaten! The reply has taken 32 days with a basic apology and hope we can do better on your next visit! £8 for a children’s meal, I’ll pass and go somewhere that can actually cook chips next time
