Grumpy Barista in Glasgow City

I hadn't been in for over a year but, fortunately , had the opportunity to go in today for a coffee and cake whilst out for a wander with the family. The warm welcome, the friendly service and the great value/tasting coffee, cakes and food looked and tasted as good as I remembered! So good, in fact, that we popped back in to get some take away for our lunch. There is lots of selection for food, drinks and snacks and they're all tasty. it's quite hard to choose when they're in front of you actually and, for us, the coffee is quite frankly spot on! The man knows how to make great coffee. Top stuff! For me it's a shame I'm not nearby more often. But, I'm looking forward to my next visit!! (Just hoping it's not such a long time away again. ) My photos don't do it justice and there's more on offer than the menu shows. 😎

Absolutely love this cafe, so cosy and warm inside and staff are lovely too. Delicious food and amazing coffee. Would highly recommend you try this place.

Great coffee - I feel like this is one of the best coffee’s I’ve ever had. Tastes good, made to my specifications, i would really recommend. Staff were also very kind and attentive

This place is a wee gem of a coffee shop. Excellent coffee, excellent food, excellent atmosphere and super happy welcoming staff. You must visit this special place if you're near Kelvingrove Museum or going for a walk in the park. Make this the destination place to meet friends and enjoy fabulous vibes.

Excellent coffee, excellent filled croissant, excellent atmosphere, excellent staff. What more can I say. Well worth a visit if you're near Kelvingrove museum, miss out the other chain places, the Grumpy Barista is the place to go.

We visited this barista on Friday the 9th June 2023 and is was fabulous. Great coffee, amazing cakes and a wonderful friendly welcome. Would highly recommend a visit. We will definitely return when we next visit Glasgow from Fife.
