Grub in Aberdeen City

Came in afew days ago and the lovely girl with lots of tattoos and ginger hair was amazing with me and was very friendly and happy to be there would absolutely Recommend coming here :)

Came for lunch Thursday around 12:30. The food was spot on - I went for the Diablo Panini which was really decent. The price was like £4.80 each which is fair value, and you can upgrade to a meal deal for like £6.50 or something like that. The service was really good. Overall I had a good lunch and would definitely come back again.

£8 for a cold panini with barely any filling and a drink… (didn’t want a snack) wouldn’t recommend it

So me and a few mates came in today for a meal deal. We all got soup, paninis and a drink. The food was spot on and the staff were lovely to chat to and very accommodating. There are seats for everything you could want ranging from if you want to sit at a table and do some work and have a coffee to having a more relaxed meal with mates. We sat in the corner on the couch next to the window which was very comfortable and it felt very homely. I would 100% recommend coming here and I will definitely be coming back!

Bought three meal deals and when I got home a good part of the order was missing. Called was was told I could drive back or get refunded for the missing items. I wasn't impressed with the result as to far to drive back and now just had half a lunch when divided between us. Was told I'd had half my meal so not sure what the problem is!

Went to the beach Grub and was greeted by 2 lovely ladies that made us our consistently amazing Grub chai latte. I’ve had chai lattes my whole life all over the place and they are by far the best. Thank you ladies!!

Great food, fair prices, quick service, relaxing ambience. Could teach other cafes a thing or two or three.

There have always been surprisingly few cafes etc around Old Aberdeen and the University. Grub is therefore a welcome watering hole. It can however get very busy during term time.

Near Aberdeen University and catering essentially to students. Inexpensive refreshments and snacks. Major positive factor for this cafe is the two beautiful big sofas. Having walked a long way I was so happy to flop on the sofa! Don’t forget to visit to toilet - totally eclectic. Worth a visit!

After a very long walk and chilly paddle in the sea we were imagining the perfect cafe for some rest and recuperation.. and we found it at Grub! Sofas friendly staff, excellent meal deals, great coffee and the coolest loo. The imaginative choice of paninis, wraps and snacks worked for the whole family and we left recharged, thank you.

Title says it all. The menu is epic. Today, both myself and Mrs G had a Mighty Zeus Panini. Chicken, chorizo, sun dried tomatoes pesto and mozzarella. Delicious. Cant wait to go back.

Best sandwich/toastie shop in Aberdeen. Tried various different toasted wraps, meal deals and coffees. All fantastic. My favourites are Vincent Mango, Hammer of Thor and King Kong. Coffee and cakes are delicious. Grub is always a winner.

I was craving a good fluffy cappuccino and went down to grub and just had such a wonderful experience, there were 3 lovely ladies behind the counter smiley and very efficient. They have great food but there isn’t anything like going to a place with such an upbeat ambiance and friendly staff Thanks ladies 🙌🏼

We visited this off a recommendation from a local. We were impressed by the idea of a wrap, soup and drink option for a very affordable price. The sandwich options were excellent, very alternative and different. The crisps, yogurts, soups all had lots of different options. It was clearly freshly cooked from excellent ingredients. It was a comfortable seating arrangement and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a place to go for lunch when visiting Aberdeen. Best meal we have eaten all holiday!
