The food was over cooked expecially the chips and popcorn chicken

The food arrived on time and all was fine expect the portion of chips which contained a fried insect within the food. Spot checks should be done way more often here.

I ordered regular chips expecting a generous amount of proper chip shop chips wrapped in paper - what arrived was a handful of soggy, bland and barely warm oven chips in a polystyrene box. Not good.

The chips seemed like oven chips, and I’d want chip shop chips when having fish and chips. They were nice, just not what I expected or wanted.

Absolutely fabulous fish and chips. I will buy from them again. Well worth the price and unlike other restaurants - it arrived hot instead of freezing cold. Cannot recommend this place enough. Superb!

Portion sizes were tiny 2 large chips was smaller than a regular one.

Over cooked fish and definitely refried chips whos knows how many times. It was late too very disappointing. Happen to find some fish finger I didn’t order in the bag that was a nice surprise.

Please do not say you can deliver to areas if you cannot guarantee hot food we order well in advance there was enough time to establish the quickest route before the food was cooked. This delivery driver had this food on his s bike for a very long time it was obvious cold chips dry and food flatted! Not fair at all

All though the food was only 5 minutes late. The app said the food was on the way for more than 30 minutes. the food was almost stone cold when it arrived after waiting 70+ minutes it should ha e been hot. Cold fish and chips is no good. Not happy

Shockingly bad food. Chips were stale, dry frozen chips, the fish was pouring with grease and tasted off, the scampi was some styrofoam packing peanut type artificial substance NOT real scampi. Food was thrown away.

I had ordered a delivery of my meal, however it came up on my screen as Collection,, I quickly called the restraunt and the young man kindly changed it for me,, The fish I ordered was absolutely delicious,, the best batter I have tasted for a very long time,, Thank you to all those who had a part in preparing and cooking my fish, Cod, and the quick delivery service too,, Best Regards Lizzee 👍

Good food delivered appropriately

First time I have not been happy with my order and this was due to the chips being overcooked and just tasting burnt. No salt or vinegar provided as usual with my order either which left me feeling unsatisfied overall.

First order and I can't say how impressed and happy I was with the food. Firstly and most important the food was hot on arrival. The chips were the best I've had in a very long time and not to greasy like my excellent scampi. I would definitely recommend and will be ordering again in the future.

Part of the order was wrong (a saveloy sausage rather than a plain sausage, it arrived cold and late.

Chips were undercooked. They were very pale and floppy. We had to reheat in the microwave. Not satisfied at all.

Fish wasn’t cooked the whole way through, neither were the chips. Chicken was burnt crisp, as in you could not bite into it at all and same for sausage in batter. Very mediocre experience, unfortunately but food was delivered in good time.

Chips were undercooked and cold as was the Sausage.

The chips were hard and cold, the haddock was covered in overcooked burnt batter and I ordered a battered sausage and you sent a Plain jumbo sausage. I had to remove the batter to eat the haddock as I hadn’t eaten all day so was hungry. None of the food tasted fresh.

Was due to be delivered at 18:50, at around 18:30 the order was updated to say our cod and chips were on the way. At 18:54 the delivery driver rang asking for confirmation on the address. Surely google maps is simple enough to use? When he arrived he then couldn’t find the front door. The front door area to the apartment block is a huge, two story glass fronted entrance. So when we finally got our food, some 40 minutes after it left the chippy, it was stone cold. Shame as it was a good portion size and well presented in a cardboard box.

My items were not delivered to me. When I called the restaurant they said the items were on the way. As I put the phone down, the app said that items have been delivered – but they clearly had not. I had to go out to get food after waiting for two hours since I first placed my order to get items. I would not waste my time by ordering from here again.

Not worth the time, money and energy. So disappointing, The chips were dry, hard and had obviously been cooked hours ago, the scampi was also dry and the fried chicken had barely any coating on it and mostly just tasted of old oil. The menu states when you order chicken you receive 2 pieces but they sent one and when I asked the guy said that it's supposed to be 1 piece...but it literally says 2 pieces on the menu which he couldn't respond to so just said they have no control over that!! A restaurant that has no control over their own menu lol. Just avoid this place, this isn't the first time I've had problems with the quality of food here either.

So this is something that never happened to me. You served me a plaice that was probably sitting there since the morning and at the same time a very fresh and juice battered cod inside the burger. I mean how smart can you be to put those next to each others so that even someone used to eat garbage everyday will notice the difference....dont order from this place please.

Acabo de mudarme aquí y pensé en probar el chippy local. Tengo que decir absolutamente terrible. Pescado claramente congelado, patatas fritas empapadas y (afortunadamente) porciones pequeñas. No volveremos a visitarlo.

Personas horribles, ordenadas a través de solo comer y después de una hora, las llamé para ver dónde estaba la comida y dijeron que trataron de entregarlas al piso 2 cuando claramente en mi cuenta dice que el piso 24, así que el conductor volvió a la tienda. Quería visitar Grove Park Fish & Chips porque un cambio es bueno y nunca se sabe qué tan bueno puede ser otra cosa hasta que pruebes algo nuevo. Entonces para mi revisión. . . . . . . Chips poco cocidos (casi crudo). El pescado estaba cocinado pero la pasta como las patatas fritas también estaba poco hecha, por lo que era pálida, suave y súper grasosa. Las porciones también eran pequeñas. El pez era pequeño y tenía enormes bolsillos de rebozado en cada extremo. Una porción tenía un cabello. Llamado para quejarse No esperaba una nueva porción, ni, en ese momento, tenía ningún apetito o disposición para la ronda 2, por lo que la llamada fue en gran medida un FYI. La respuesta fue tan "no me importa" que simplemente subrayó toda la decepción sobre la "experiencia". Nunca deja de sorprenderme lo bien que el buen servicio al cliente compensa una mala experiencia y el servicio al cliente de basura lo lleva más lejos, especialmente para un negocio local. No volverán a verme oscurecer su puerta y compartí mi opinión con amigos locales. Quizás sea una experiencia aislada, sin embargo, para mí. . . . . . Regresaría: ¡De ninguna manera! ! ! ! . . . . . . ¡Lo único bueno de este pescado con papas fritas era el envase! Tenemos 4 bacalaos y patatas fritas. Las patatas fritas estaban poco hecha y la pasta de pescado no estaba crujiente en absoluto. Mi hijo también encontró un pelo en sus fichas. Cuando llamé para quejarme, todo lo que tenían que decir era "ok ok ok" ...! ¡De vuelta a Chris fish and chips en Turnham Green la próxima vez!

Sorry to say, but this has to be the worst Fish & Chips I have ever had the displeasure of tasting. the chips were partially under-cooked but soggy...quite a feat! The fish was tasteless and batter thinly coated, no crispness, no freshness, no nothing! Apart from the cost of course, that was definitely something; over-priced!

The food was very good, and although it arrived early that suited us as we were hungry and had left it a bit late to place the order, so we were pleased.

The driver came without enough change. If i wasn't so hungry I'd have told him to forget about it. I ended up over paying for terrible food. Never again.

Ordered a few times before but this will be my last time, hands down worst sausage in batter I've ever had, soft tasteless anemic log. Haddock was ropey, chips were over done and pretty sure chicken was yesterday's reheated leftovers.

Fish had a couple bones in it but was really good! Would highly recommend.

I ordered scampi, cod and chips, a pickeld gherkin and tartar and mayonaise sauce. The scampi is not worth it, horrible. The cod is average and a little too greasy. The chips: half of them were undercooked and the other half were overcooked (how!?) and 0,80p for only one small gherkin. The tartar sauce comes in a sachet. My order was accepted at 18:15 to be delivered at 19:30. It arrived a little before 19:30. Over an hour to cook that? No. I was very disappointed. I'm sorry but I don't recommend this food.

Better than expected will use again. but would be nice to have cod roe, Jamaican patties, curry sauce but still good I recommend this

I never had such terrible fish in my life.

Food was sat with driver in car outside house for more than 15 minutes, food was then damp from moisture which is never good in fish or chips.

The staff member lied to us, claimed he was the manager. Was awful, had no customer service, incredibly rude! Waited an hour and a half for our food and when it arrived it was cold, will never order from there again and would advise others not to do so.

Me and my family Spent £20 here and it was a waste of money. Ordered three saveloys and hey we're all rock hard and tasted as if they have been a week old and was spicy. The chips were okay can taste that they cook them with other foods and the pies were mushy!!!! Very disappointed never again!!
