Grounded Kitchen in Blaby

Lovely flavours but portions keep getting smaller and smaller you dont get what you pay for. I asked for extra cashews for my tofu udon noodles but barely had a handful. Barely any sauce was added to very dry!

I went in on wed 18th and it was so busy and the staff were run off their feet. Despite the waits and customer demands the supervisor on shift was super polite, helpful and provided great customer service. Really impressed consider the other staff seemed unsure and needed much guidance. Think her name was Shania, I did ask but lost the receipt! She needs a big well done. Great staff member.

Everything Wagamamas wishes they were. Excellent food, the chicken bao buns are honestly phenomenal. They have no right being that delicious. The rice bowls are also just as delicious.

I came in on a Monday evening and Staff are lovely when I attended with my family and the team supervisor helped my family order what they wanted and helped with allergies and special commands

Lady with tattooed arms was extremely rude with an attitude, she was busy hiding in the back texting on her phone instead of serving. There was a queue of people and when we asked for service, she said 'there is a screen there which is faster for ordering, try use that as we're busy' Used to be a nice place with friendly staff when they first opened. Its what the queens road branch was known for when they first opened.

Upon entry we were told not to eat here if we have allergies. We decided to go ahead (epipen at the ready) and ordered 3 salmon Bao buns to takeaway. The food was lukewarm at best and the bao buns were less than half full. Have eaten at a different location and had a much better experience. It's worth noting that we went in at 8 pm and there were 4 staff members and only 2 other diners (both of which already had food). Disappointed.

Food is amazing tasty and staff are great fun and shania great with banter and fun

Visited the place last week and NEEDA was really helpful to choose vagetarian options from the menu and service. Food was fresh and flavourful overall had a great experience!!

I came in a couple days of days ago with my dad as he had never tried grounded before. The food was amazing and the staff were brilliant. Lucy took great care of myself and my dad throughout our meal and even took care of my ridiculous food requests (cant deal with spice). 100% recommend

Popped in for a bite to eat whilst out shopping. Although it was busy the staff served us quickly and were friendly. I had a beef wrap and a raw cacao. The wrap was really tasty and fresh as was the drink. The place is well run and stands out in a world of burger bars and chicken shops. Well recommended.

I love coming to eat at The Grounded Kitchen in Fosse Park Food Court. The food there is amazing. I am very grateful to Rhianna, Shania and Lily as they always provide outstanding customer service. They are so warm friendly and helpful, they are an asset to the company.

Went in a couple of weeks ago and forgot to write a review, Lucy and Aisha (if i remember correctly) were two absolutely lovely staff members who genuinely made my experience better. As for the food my bowel was 10/10 with the perfect amount of sauce. Will be coming back for more and a chit chat :)

I paid a visit to Grounded kitchen this afternoon along with my sibling. We ordered a rice bowl and a portion of wings - 8 wings. Along with a smoothie also. The portion sizes were great. Perfect for the two of us. The wings were delicious! The sauce used was tasty and cooked well. The rice bowl itself was filled and had the right amount of toppings/sauces too. The smoothie was perfect. Most importantly, Shelly served us very well and her customer service was on point 🫡👌 She was polite, helpful and friendly.

The worst Ramen I've ever had in my life.

I've been coming to this grounded kitchen since they opened i always get such great service and the food is always so good, there staff member Shania is especially great, always has a smile, so helpful and knows the entire menu so well, and always gives amazing service.

Team are really good, nice & friendly. Food is amazing and good presentation. Would definitely recommend!

I came here last night (26/10) and just wanted to leave a review about the two lovely girls that were serving that day I didn’t catch there names but there customer service was impeccable. Especially the lovely girl on the till who was really patient and just provided a really welcoming atmosphere!! The food was amazing as well will definitely come back soon :)) x

Although the food is not really authentic and is a bit fusion, it is still good food. Mandu is a must-try. The udon was a bit salty. But other than that, the meal was satisfying in general.

This was such a terrible experience. The queens road is much better! Here, at the fosse park the chicken was completely dry, food was served cold and it had no taste at all. I have eaten that specific bowl (chicken Bulgogi) so many times and this branch is a total disappointment!

The food was very mediocre. Wouldn't go for dinner, portion quite small. The salmon bowl had very small salmon flakes that if you didn't focus on them, you wouldn't have seen or tasted them. The prawn bowl was also not mind-blowing, the dish seemed quite watery... The smoothie were very nice though.

A massive big thank you to the amazing Shelly at Fosse Park! She really made my day! My wife usually can't eat at Grounded Kitchen, because the food is spicy for her stomach. Shelly patiently and kindly explained all the food options and together we came up with a non-spicy vegetarian option, that was perfect for her. It was super delicious! Well done Shelly!

Went out to eat with my partner. What an amazing place! I loved every single moment at this place. The food was amazing. I ordered the "Hot and Nutty Fire" wrap. What a wrap! It was totally different with all the combinations in it. It went very well, and the spice kick to it was nicely done. Well done, chef! Now, onto the bowls of ramen noodles. Oh, my! What an amazing dish! Highly recommended to all you gym freaks to get that goodness in. Not to forget the testers before walking in just made my day. Amazing staff and service. We will be back. What it shows on menu is what you actually get.

Very bland food with little to no flavour. Customer service was good when I wanted to swap my main meal because I didn’t enjoy it. Portion sizes are rather small too for dinner.

This is a really nice place that adds variety to eating out options. I have been here and ordered from here quite a few times. They have recently changed up their menu. I tried the laksa which was nice although it leaked on delivery. Please can you improve delivery packages for saucy meals. Rice bowl is always good. I prefer the chicken over meat as had instances where the beef was noy great. The flavours of the rice bowl go well together. I usually get the hot and firey. I have also tried the udon Noodles which are the thick ones. I like this too. Sometimes it can be a little drying if the person making it doesn't add in enough sauce. More recently I went for the noodle broth bowl which was decent and filling. There was lots of sauce and it's serves with a protein of your choice. This is a nice winter dish. We didn't like the dumplings. Didn't taste fresh at all. The Edamame side is ok. If you prefer an alternative to a burger I'd reccomend the bao buns however these are not the most filling. The wraps are really good and much more filling. Overall I'd recommend the rice bowl as a safe option! They also give NHS discount which is a plus 👍🏼

Have really enjoyed eating at other Grounded Kitchen locations, but this one was by far the worst. Ordered a £12 bowl, arrived missing most of the vegetables, crispy onions etc that I'd usually expect. All of my previous meals at GK are full-to-the-brim, however the bowl at Fosse Park was only half-full. Have to imagine they were low on ingredients? Don't know why else they'd have ignored the usual recipes. Very disappointing for a premium brand. tldr; if you go when they've had a busy day, you'll get a bad, incomplete meal.

This is normally one of my favourite orders, however the portion sizes are not consistent, sometimes the bowl is fully packed to the top but sometimes the bowls are half full which is disappointing when your getting less for your money, this isn’t a cheap restaurant let’s be honest. Also not keen on how the menu has changed recently, a lot of the best recipes have been removed.

Open hours incorrect says 10 30 sunday at 10 45 they let me know they wouldn't be open for another 15 mins although doors were open

Ordered chicken Bulgogi. Awful. Tasted nothing like it, not authentic. Chicken was very dry. Inedible. Food was cold too! How?! After few bites, binned it. Do not eat here. Expensive too. === Gave this place a second chance. Absolutely awful service. Clueless. Left out food, so we had to drive back and they made excuse and says we called out the food but they told us all food was in the bag. While we were there the second time, another customer was complaining the same. Absolutely embarrassing and run by poorly trained staff with no work ethics. The food is not authentic and does not taste of anything. There is no broth in the udon. Do not eat here, you have been warned.

Very disappointed with the smaller bowl size. My partner ordered a meal expecting the usual but was told that they only do small bowls which wasn’t even full! It was also more expensive than the larger bowl, how do they justify this? We were regulars but not going back!

Food used to be good. Now it's just a big bowl of mainly boiled rice, a bit of chicken (or your topping) and sauces. Disappointing. Only eat there bcoz its in fosse park. Nice ambience. Not worth the money.

Poor experience. Stood waiting in the queue for 5-10mins as 1 of 2 people. While in the queue no-one was making food and just felt like the staff were lost. Also the price seem very high for what it is.

The restaurant was dirty, the food isn’t as we remember it. The drink took 3 reminders to staff to make and staff were incredibly unprofessional swearing and inappropriate behind the till. Really disappointing, and to add to this, the prices don’t reflect the quality. We weren’t even given a receipt to highlight how much each of the items were!

Not bad. Portions are quite small. Food wasn't bad, but I wasn't impressed. If you only looking to snack between shopping, that's a place to go.

Ordered food for the first time from here ( noodles) which were veryyy flavourless...it was just plain noodles....just wasted my 11 pounds and the quantitiy was also veryy less...

I used to eat here weekly but the quality went down massively. Thought I would give it another go as it’s been ages. Just ate it again today and it’s still such poor quality. The tofu is consistently burnt and over cooked. The quality is just so poor and I wouldn’t mind paying the price if it was good, but this is just not worth it. I even went to collect it hoping it would be good, as 99% of the time, when they deliver its awful. Still not up to scratch. Used to be so great when they first opened and were on queen street and town. I was actually one of their first every customers. Won’t be coming again.

Really enjoyed the food but it's such a shame the service wasn't up to standard. There was only three of us eating and only two meals came out, leaving my daughter waiting and waiting thinking it will arrive soon but they actually forgot until we asked for the other two items we ordered. She then had to eat up quickly because she had to be somewhere. For this reason I won't be going back sorry.

What a disappointment ! Used to go to Grounded Kitchen a lot when they were at King Street and was happy to queue for half an hour during my lunch break as the food was so good - really tasty, fresh and zingy. Just ordered a delivery from the Fosse Park branch and it was just awful. The bulgogi beef was tough and tasted like it had been boiled and was so tasteless I had to add some barbecue sauce. The rice tasted like it had been sitting around on the counter for a couple of hours and the avocado was mushy and overripe. Only managed to eat about half of it. Just awful.

They were having issues taking payments at the time we arrived so had to order online which wasn't the easiest as my phone kept freezing on the website. Flavours were really good, tofu could have done with a little more flavour and it was quite firm than what I'm used to. Frappe was really good but would have expected a bigger cup for the price. When we arrived there were quite a few staff standing around when tables could have been tidied (we had to do that ourselves) But all in all, I probably would go back.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday. We were on our way back to Liverpool. Rheanna served us. She was not only very informative over the menu but pleasant and engaging. A real asset to your company. We will definitely be back !
