Absolutely superb café and bar. Perfect stop for cyclist going into the Surrey Hills or a post ride stop but so much more as well. A buzzing, community minded place, with great food and excellent coffee. Also try out the pizzas on the weekend evenings. Love this place!!!!

Been here every week since the start of their £10 pizza and drink offer on Thursday and Friday, pizza has been world class every time. Friendly chatty staff as well.

I recently hired Giro for my 30th birthday party, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The café's ambiance was perfect for a celebration—warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated with balloons. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, ensuring that everything went smoothly. Can be very busy with cyclists on weekend mornings but good coffee and cakes. Nice seating areas inside and plenty of seating outside. Updated: really tight on the slice of cake. Regret giving them a tip!

Great coffee, great atmosphere, try the breakfast burrito it’s superb. I’ve also just had my TT bike serviced by them. Perfect - quick and complete, bike rides like it’s brand new and no effort to try and upsell me a load of stuff I didn’t need. Highly recommended.

We were not impressed today. Both the burrito breakfast and the avocado toast were poor quality. Oat milk curdled in my coffee. Great atmosphere. We have been there before and had better experience but today what we received was poor quality. Also had to ask for our table to be cleaned. Maybe next time…

Great cycling café on Esher High Street. Always a good atmosphere - the place is filled with cyclists on a mid ride coffee stop and there's always some sort of cycling race being shown on the TV on the wall. You can also stock up here on essentials (inner tubes, chain lube and gels), and they provide zip tie locks for your bikes for when you're inside.

A well known cycling stop. First time I've been here, only had a coffee, but reasonably priced and nice coffee and service.

It was my first time here, I was just popping in for a quick breakfast to pick up and takeaway as I was in a rush. Literally 10 minutes just to get a toasted croissant to go. I had to ask for them to take it out the toaster as it had been so long and it's still cold. Croissant itself didn't taste fresh. I expected better from other reviews, will not be returning.

One of the best coffee and bike shops by a long shot. Firstly, the coffee and food is knockout. Secondly the bike community the cafe has created is awesome. Turn up on a Thursday evening with either your gravel or road bike and you’ll find a group you can explore the local areas with. After, everyone enjoys a few cold beers and food. What the team has created here is very special. I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Been a few years since I stopped by - not local and it is still as good as I remembered it. Great refuge from the summer rain! Comfy and cosy with friendly staff. Simple menu with good choices. Mine was hot on delivery with a Karma coke. Would return.

I have New Yorker toast and iced coffee outside. Great atmosphere. And espresso tasty was super!🤗 all the staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant area was clean. Fresh foods. 👍👍 I spent around £13 for coffee and toast. I forget to take a photo. But toast amount was big. Enough for one person 😬😬 enjoyed time in here. Will visit again soon!

Very happy to share my thoughts on the cycle workshop - sister business of the cafe. I haven't been to the cafe in a long while which is why I haven't rated the food (although I do remember that they did an excellent raspberry and chocolate Brownie!). Anyway, Danny did a great job in fitting my new bike wheels and tyres - not as straightforward as it might seem, mainly due to different disc connector standards. He was extremely flexible and accommodating in fitting me in at short notice and turning the job round quickly. And all at a surprisingly good value price. Two words I never thought I would see in adjacent sentences - fast and value! A great little business that deserves your custom.

I had a mocha and a bacon 🥓 bap the Caffe was very busy with a load of cyclist.

One of the finest cycle coffee shops around. G!RO is located on the main Esher high street with space to park your bike out front (locks available inside) and an outdoor seating area. Superb selection of food and great quality coffee, they also serve up a selection of lagers and beers later in the day.

Recently had my bike serviced and upgraded by danny in the workshop and he was amazing. Really helpful and got me my bike back in days. Would 100% recommend.

By far the best coffee in Esher, not from a Karen's point of view. But as an SCA Qualified Barista I can confidently say this is the best coffee you will find in the area. The young men in spandex are definitely a plus.

This cafe for cyclists is in an amazing location. Best coffee I've ever had in years in this city. Opens at 7:30 in the morning everyday which makes it a perfect pitstop for a morning ride.

Drove past this morning (Saturday 20/02/21) and saw 20-30 cyclists, none of whom were wearing masks, nor were they in groups of 2 (as per the current exercise laws) or social distancing at all. If Giro were a gym or there was music playing the owners would be fined £10,000 and each individual would also be fined. I have no time for companies or individuals putting others at risk during a global pandemic. Fine then and shut them down 6/3/21 update. Drove past once again to see a large group (again in groups of multiple adults clearly not in the same household and therefore not adhering to the 2 person exercise rule) were gathered out side Giro. As I drive further down the street there were other similar groups of cyclists. This is clearly happening at least every weekend morning. The proximity to the police station just metres away shows they have no fear of being fined. Absolutely disgusting, they should be fined and closed down like any pub or gym doing the same thing

Fabulous even with having to wait in the chill spring air on Esher High Street. Coffee top class, service great and they were attentive and courteous to those customers who hadn't spotted the "Only 1 customer inside at any time" sign outside. Can't wait to get back and enjoy this place properly

As an Esher resident in lockdown, I have found Giro cafe as a safe and well run environment to get a good cup of coffee when working from home and getting my permitted daily exercise. Staff have been strict on masks when serving takeaways inside and while there can be a queue outside, but this has always been socially distanced. In tough times, I think this establishment has been a credit to our community.

Cafe is brilliant. Fantastic coffee, cakes, sandwiches and the cycling gear is second to none. I also recently had my bike serviced there and the service I recieved there was the best I have ever experienced. Could not recommend Danny in the workshop enough. Love this coffee shop. Part bicycle shop and part coffee shop. Heaps of cyclists visit. I came for an oat milk flat white and also found the vegan peanut butter cookie bar. Will definitely return! My partner had the espresso and Guatemalan filter.

Best cafe anywhere on the planet! Their coffee is amazing, their food is delicious and their team are just SO welcoming that whether you go in alone or with friends you always feel like you're with friends! It's great for mid cycle trips but also to work remotely during the day, anyone and everyone will be welcomed!

Great Cyclist stop off and general public, love this cycling themed coffee shop on par with Rapha clubhouse if not better as there is so much more cake and food on offer than Rapha. Staff are friendly and very enthusiastic with a great selection of coffee's on offer as well as G!RO merch at the back. I especially liked the memorabilia dotted around the shop, there is also a very modern looking outside area to eat with plenty of places to park your bike safely. We will definitely be visiting again as a club ride 👍

It's ok for a cycling cafe but opposite the street looks better, staff friendlier not just young kids. And cheaper too.

This is a super cyclist cafe. The coffee is excellent, food is superb and the service is friendly. On top of all this you can pick up apparel as well whilst you are here. The atmosphere is cosy and seating both inside and out are good and there are locks available if you want to lock your bike up whilst you sip your cappuccino (although I can’t imagine anyone can steal your bike past so many cyclists keeping an eye on your bike for you).

Nice place. Went for lunch and had a delicious sandwich and my daughter had a wrap she loves. The deco is done with good taste and the coffee very good. A place to go to for breakfast or lunch - and you don't have to be a cyclist to be welcomed!
