I had the best veggie breakfast ever here. Chunky hash browns, a spiced sweet potato cake, grilled aubergine with tahini, spinach, avocado, beans, mushroom, eggs and toast. It was flawless! Thank-you!

We visited Grind Shoreditch for a friend’s stag and were warmly welcomed by Kiana and the team, who made our experience unforgettable! She was incredibly attentive throughout — making sure we had the best time possible. Highly recommend their bottomless brunch! We will definitely be back!

Had brunch on a Friday in the outdoor seated area. Had a really lovely vibe, green, away from the road good music. Food was so much better than expected. Had a great veggie breakfast that I couldn't finish, lots of good flavours and spices. Highlights were the perfectly poached eggs, the buttery spinach, the veg patty, and the aubergine (miso maybe) was to perfection. Also had a honey lavender iced latte, perfect for a spring day.

My first time visiting and I must say I’ll most definitely be back soon. I arrived unsure of what to order but with the help of our lovely server Kelis we were put at ease. From the friendly chat, great menu recommendations and going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, she worked extremely hard. Grind are very lucky to have someone like her working there. I’ll be back soon and hopefully will get to experience Kelis’ great hospitality again !

Lovely flat white and coffee good location

If you have 30 minutes spare of your day to wait for a coffee this is the place. Speed and operation isn’t their strong point. Coffee is ok. Plenty of smaller independent coffee shops In the same vicinity that are better.

Just awful. Literally the only time anyone is even remotely pleasant is when they are asking for a tip. Three times we’ve been in as work near there. Pushing for a tip on takeaway? The same hipster trust fund boy stared when I paid each time, just making sure he got his tip. For a takeaway. Which each time took well over the odds to make as despite having a dozen people working there, no one actually does a lot. One boy going upstairs to fetch the bags of the American tourists he’d stored (funnily enough 3 attractive female tourists…bet he’d be less keen to help a bloke), zero people on the coffee machine. A joke of a place, and only go there when we have to but we just simply won’t again. Indifferent, rude people who only give half a care when asking for their extra £1.50 for doing nothing extra on a takeaway. Grim mentality. Makes me hate going there.

Grind Cafe never disappoints. The vibe is relaxed, the food hits the spot, and the service is always on point. Ali from the floor staff was especially helpful and friendly—made the visit even better

Had a lovely experience here yesterday morning! The breakfast was absolutely delightful—fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. The coffee stood out as well, professionally prepared and rich in taste, definitely one of the better ones I’ve had in a while. Special thanks to the guy working there, I think his name was Ali—he was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit. Made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Today I went into Grind shoreditch for the first time as I was grabbing a coffee with some friends. I was served by a wonderful young lady named Kelis. She was so kind and really helpful as a first timer. Will be coming back next week lol, 10/10.

Kelis is very polite thanks for your service, she kept ontop of our drinks and made sure they was never empty, haha I loved it

Just poured coffee with no care.

The flat white was a disappointment. It was more of a latte macchiato, you could hardly taste the coffee. And for £4.50...

I walked in shortly after 8 pm asking to buy a coffee. I was told they stop serving coffee in the evening. If your core business stops but you stay open beyond that time it means you're very bad at providing service and you don't want my money which at that point I was ready to pay any amount of money to get a coffee.

Kalise was so amazing! She gave great recommendations and made us eager to come back over the weekend.

Very good service the staff are always very nice. And the food and drinks are really good everything I have ordered so far tastes really good and it doesn’t take a really long time. It’s also really cozy and pleasant.

The staff is lovely. We got offered water for our doggo without having to ask. 🐶 We had ourselves a full English breakfast which was delicious. I very much enjoyed the open ceiling for the more relaxed eating space with a DJ liven up to the main area.

Was having such a stressful day, but Lola really made it better. She was so kind and even helped me with directions to the restaurant I was looking for.

We came here for some evening cocktails before heading to dinner. The cocktails we had were a bit too sweet, I ordered a toffee apple cocktail and though I got the burnt caramel notes I struggled to taste the apple of it. It was more sour from a citrus fruit rather than from an apple. The balance of the cocktails were just slightly off.

Superb coffee and top notch service from Ali. Such a lovely experience that he complemented with his service.

We had a wonderful time at Grind, Old Street. We were taken care of by Joyce who was extremely attentive and friendly. All of the staff at Grind are very friendly and welcoming, along with the nice coffee and food. I regularly come again as a result of this :)

I came here every day during my stay. The lattes and the mochas are great! I had one each visit. I also tried the banana bread which was quite tasty - not too sweet. What sets this place apart from others is the service. The staff are very friendly. Two shoutouts: Kiana and Charlie. Both of them are awesome at customer engagement. I'd visit this place again just to see them. So if you want a good coffee drink, here's your place.
