Had a lovely experience here yesterday morning! The breakfast was absolutely delightful—fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. The coffee stood out as well, professionally prepared and rich in taste, definitely one of the better ones I’ve had in a while. Special thanks to the guy working there, I think his name was Ali—he was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit. Made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I just wanted to share how impressed I was with the customer service at Grind—especially thanks to Kelis. She was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made the experience feel personal. It’s rare to come across someone who takes such care in both the service and the coffee itself. She created such a warm atmosphere, and their attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. From remembering orders to checking in with a smile, it really elevated the visit. Definitely one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a coffee shop.

Today I went into Grind shoreditch for the first time as I was grabbing a coffee with some friends. I was served by a wonderful young lady named Kelis. She was so kind and really helpful as a first timer. Will be coming back next week lol, 10/10.

Kelis is very polite thanks for your service, she kept ontop of our drinks and made sure they was never empty, haha I loved it

Just poured coffee with no care.

The flat white was a disappointment. It was more of a latte macchiato, you could hardly taste the coffee. And for £4.50...

I walked in shortly after 8 pm asking to buy a coffee. I was told they stop serving coffee in the evening. If your core business stops but you stay open beyond that time it means you're very bad at providing service and you don't want my money which at that point I was ready to pay any amount of money to get a coffee.

Kalise was so amazing! She gave great recommendations and made us eager to come back over the weekend.

Very good service the staff are always very nice. And the food and drinks are really good everything I have ordered so far tastes really good and it doesn’t take a really long time. It’s also really cozy and pleasant.

The staff is lovely. We got offered water for our doggo without having to ask. 🐶 We had ourselves a full English breakfast which was delicious. I very much enjoyed the open ceiling for the more relaxed eating space with a DJ liven up to the main area.

Was having such a stressful day, but Lola really made it better. She was so kind and even helped me with directions to the restaurant I was looking for.

We came here for some evening cocktails before heading to dinner. The cocktails we had were a bit too sweet, I ordered a toffee apple cocktail and though I got the burnt caramel notes I struggled to taste the apple of it. It was more sour from a citrus fruit rather than from an apple. The balance of the cocktails were just slightly off.

We had a wonderful time at Grind, Old Street. We were taken care of by Joyce who was extremely attentive and friendly. All of the staff at Grind are very friendly and welcoming, along with the nice coffee and food. I regularly come again as a result of this :)

I came here every day during my stay. The lattes and the mochas are great! I had one each visit. I also tried the banana bread which was quite tasty - not too sweet. What sets this place apart from others is the service. The staff are very friendly. Two shoutouts: Kiana and Charlie. Both of them are awesome at customer engagement. I'd visit this place again just to see them. So if you want a good coffee drink, here's your place.

Really nice visit on a Saturday. Coffee no surprises superb and the brunch we ordered was spot on and high standard, really tasty. Vegetarian breakfast with the sweet potato cake and miso aubergine was ace. Daughter had the pancake stack, whilst on higher end of price scale for pancakes they were a generous portion. Would come back again. However one thing to note, the layout of the room means it's quite loud anyway with all customers chatting so the music doesn't need to be turned up as high as it was (during the day that is, I can understand louder music for the night time customers)

Me and my girlfriend love coming to Grind. It was great being back. Kiana was amazing and very accommodating! The butterfly pea latte recommended by her was a hit. We miss the old banana flavoured French toast (bring it back!!)

Cute cafe - they have soy milk and other vegan alternatives. No gluten free snacks but its nice to do people watching. You can also order cocktails in the evenings

Great place to have a good coffee and good food, well located and with a modern and cosy style! For our breakfast we chose porridge and toast with peanut butter and jam, accompanied with a flat white, cappuccino and espresso (very good). In addition, the staff was super helpful and ready to answer our questions. We were lucky enough to have Kelis to help us with our order, always friendly and smiling, and the manager, Tom, who took the time to explain to us in detail the differences between the various coffees on sale. We were very happy with the service we received which, apart from anything else, is what we think defines a good café from an excellent one!

Great café with a clean, modern aesthetic. Friendly staff, and tasty coffees. It wasn't clear from signage and lack of menus on tables that food was available - I only mention this because it'd be a travesty if a hungry visitor missed out on the incredible food... For breakfast, I had the huevos rancheros and my wife had the veggie breakfast. It was a real cut above most breakfast/brunch places - thoughtfully prepared dishes, beautifully presented. It's our second trip to The Grind in two days, after visiting the Covent Garden branch yesterday for lunch - what higher praise could I give?!
