Grill it stourbridge in Dudley

Nice meal but the restaurant upstairs was so cold it spoilt the evening for us. It made the food go cold quickly too. We did witness another table of guests being moved as they complained too. Very awkward to eat & relax with your big coat on! Also for such prices I would expect to have the table set or at least be given cutlery & napkins rather than have to walk down a set of stairs to fetch them! You would expect that at Wetherspoons but not a more expensive restaurant. Didn't have dessert as we just wanted to get home and warm!

Great food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Large potions so left feeling rather full not Luke some places where you are still hungry. What more could you want. Will be back.

Our recent experience at Grill It! was incredibly disappointing, and frankly, unfair. Before arriving, we called ahead to ask if dogs were allowed. The lady who answered clearly stated that no dogs were permitted inside the restaurant or bar. Fine, we understood that. After arriving with our small cavapoo and being told the same by the bar staff, we stood outside with our drinks. About 10 minutes later, we saw another dog, similar in size to ours, not only allowed inside but sitting comfortably on a seat with its owners. I initially assumed it might be an assistance dog, but it was not. When I spoke to the bar staff, the excuse given was that the other family were “regulars,” implying that regular customers receive preferential treatment and the rules do not apply. What kind of business discriminates against customers who are not part of the inner circle? This is particularly frustrating because I’ve dined at Grill It! several times in the past. After this incident we won’t be returning. If you want to run a restaurant, enforce your rules consistently and fairly for everyone, not just your favored customers. Unbelievable.

Visited with family and was very impressed ! People have said it’s on the lines of Nando’s but I have to say It’s much better food ! Really tasty value for money and really good service ! Will certainly return.

Myself and my family had a take out last night. It’s the best healthy take out I have had. The grilled chicken with salad and rice was absolutely delicious,really fresh and really tasty. Vegetable skewers beautiful. The chicken signature wrap was so good . Everybody commented on how delicious the food was! 10/10 can highly recommend! Will come and book a table next time

I’ve been to grill it countless amounts of times and the food never disappoints me or my family.The food has always been spot on as the portion are unbelievably filling.The pizza and milkshakes are a must when ordering as there amazing.The building ultimately has a great atmosphere with friendly staff who always come when needed.

Grill It has always been a staple for us but after this incident we shall not be returning. We visited on a wet Monday evening and the restaurant was very quiet with only perhaps 4-5 tables. We were seated and waited for around 20 minutes before notifying a member of staff that we hadn't even had our drinks order taken. Upon me doing this, I could see 2-3 members of staff on their personal phones in the bar area so the wait was not down to them being busy. Food took approximately 30-35 minutes to come out and mine was luke warm at best. We both had single chicken burgers and it was clear it had sat there under a hot plate for a period of time before arriving. My partners burger however was alarming to see the colour of. After cutting it in half (required based on the size) it was a dull grey in colour and did not taste right. We aren't couples that complain ever but it was needed in this instance. The chips were not even considered warm as the Caesar salad potentially was warmer. The (I assume manager) tried to tell us the colour of the burger was absolutely fine and not grey and that all food is 'probed before being taken out' - The colour suggested it had gone off, not undercooked. They hesitantly took the burger off the bill with not even as much as a sincere apology for the service we had received. I am writing this review as we are in a time that going out (especially at this restaurant) is not cheap and costs a lot of money. I hope this review finds the management at Grill It as a wake up call for the staff who do not seem to care for anyone's custom and more interested in scrolling TikTok during service times.

Unfortunately the sun was out so the place was uncomfortably hot, there were no fans or air con and even the terrace was hot as there was no airflow. We were sat waiting for around 45 mins for food The interior is giving Mediterranean holiday vibes which felt really at odds with the random RnB tunes playing. Beware the lemon and garlic sauce is VERY garlicky. We felt the food was overpriced and won't be coming back

Was raining that day. The place was cold & draughty. Food was below average nothing grill it about it. Food seemed like it was from Iceland nothing special about it. Over priced and below average quality.

Food was amazing, lovely place the staff were really nice If I had the chicken wrap with Peri fries and Mediterranean salads I was full till the next day proper meal
