Asked for donner kebab no chips and get donner meet wrapped up pita bread separately sauce in a pot no salad and portion of chips. Worst place every been 2

The staff were quick to take my order. They seemed in no rush to get it out. Food was as expected. Nice, crispy wrap and cheesy chips. I would order here again.

Got to be the worst place in Washington. Kebab pizza was like a burnt cheese pizza cooked in microwave. Kebab meat was that thick looked like it had been cut with a axe. We choose not to eat this and put it in bin. Had nicer tins of dog meat.

Good thing about this takeaway is the late opening hours good prices good food made quick

We usually have no issues with this place and it’s a go to after a night out. Ordered around midnight and after getting calls from Uber we called the restaurant where they confirmed it was on its way. An hour and a half later we call again as we had no food. Didn’t even check who was calling and just said they were closing at 2am and all orders were going out. We haven’t received anything so looking for a refund through Uber. Terrible service. Disappointed and won’t be returning again.

Checked to see if Jalapeños had been put on my pizza that I paid for and was told yes, I was lied to as there were none. Girl was too busy talking to a bloke in the back sat on a chair. £15.10 for a pizza, should have gone to Domino’s for that money.

Food was horrendous, over £10 spent on kebab that came with no salad or chips, £15 on burger that was worse than a basic mcdonalds beef burger again no salad or chips as part of the £15 item. Would have tasted better to set fire to the money then eat the chared remains

Do not use this place as I ordered food from hear and was uneatable when I rang to complain about this I was giving a hole load of abuse and was threatened that they would come to my house and assault me if I didn't change my mind

Absolutely amazing food, service and driver had no change, was back within 20 mins with our change..normally only order for Alcohol but all services are fantastic 😀

1 star is too many! Where do I start, one guy scratching his behind and arm pits then hand picking the salad and picking his nose while packing the order. The other guy answering his phone from his pocket then picking chips with his hands. Wouldnt be as bad if the food was ok but was disappointing and the order was wrong too. The home made bread was nice from here years ago but was terrible tonight.

Would give 0 stars if that were an option.. Food never arrived after ordering on Uber eats.. still not arrived an hour after they close.. place shuts at 12.20 so they obviously turn phones off and ignore when you try to ring asking for an update

Best take away in the Washington. Hand made bread and everything. Banging music on when you go in for pick up, need I say more like? - the staff are always mint as well, never had any bother with orders or getting what I've ordered. Would definitely recommend.

My order never turned up when I called the shop I got told it was on the way. I tried to call the shop again and no one answered.

Ive got food poisoning symptoms from eating a small amount of kebab - old meat that is off, tasted disgusting. I've been very poorly indeed. Manager/Director refuses to deal with the situation. Pointed out low standards of personal hygiene in particular staff. Obviously bad business culture in food standards. A previous week kebab tasted like plastic; texture like crumbed plastic in the meat. I have documented my experiences here because other people need to know to be aware of the food standards at Grill House. The matter now being subject to Food Standards Agency and litigation. The boss pretended he wasn't the boss to avoid my anticipated and expected telephone call, evading my communications several times; refused refund, refused to be listened to, refused compensation, the boss preferring to blame the off taste of the meat on the supplier. Note: other reviews "plastic"? This is concerning. I teach health and safety and food hygiene. This is my honest account and review of the Grill House Concord. Washington. Tyne and Wear. I still have not recovered and have duly told the boss that he must tend to personal hygiene amongst his staff and wear appropriate dress and use plastic gloves. I have seen first hand staff touching themselves and otherwise being uncaring with regard to clean and safe practices. The boss put the phone down following this very good advice. Now, they made me poorly after eating a very small amount of their food. Be very cautious. I am very sorry that the boss/ manager/director chose not to deal with the matter in a kindlier fashion. However, I was able to get across how dangerous his practice is. These standards fall below what is expected in catering.

I love their chiken wrap, well done cooked on a good cooker and they've got delicious marinated inside their Tanoori Nan breads.

I would give - 10 stars for costumer service and delivery. Ordered food for £40+. Guess what? Delivery driver ( will not mention name) give to different person, who ordered from another take away with similar name. As we ordered from same company luckily found the person but food was eaten. When I call to restaurant first time person on the phone even didn't apologize for situation. But said he will send new food. 1 hour later called asking where is food the same person told it delivery driver call me 3 times ( what bis lays, called one time can prove with phone log, and food was delivered. Than he give phone to driver, when I ask why she didn't verify names? She answer that there was strange non English name and other person had non English name, but he knew everything that was in order. What was lays other person was English end ordered fish and chips. Never got money back or apologies for this situation. It is most disgusting thing that someone told me ever. ( Long story short) Please think twice before you order something with delivery from this place.

Got menu ,kebab wrap 4.80 ordered and payed charged 7.80,asked how there old menus new price 6.30 plus 1.50 for chilli on it, had tea spoon amount on one end,small to what used to be,disgrace update your menu s instead of having them on counter

I ordered a kebab from just eat for delivery which cost me £11.45. Never in my life 30 years I have seen a super small kebab like this. 6 to 7 bites it’s was gone. There was only few pieces there and over packed with salad, when I received the kebab from the delivery driver it was feather light, and new something was not right. I will never be ordering from this place ever again!!!! Trading standard should be monitoring what is going on with this place.

Went right downhill. Worst kebab I've had for near 7 quid! Dried wafer thin mean burnt chips and crispy naan bread.. avoid!

Spent over £20 so was supposed to receive a free margerita or garlic bread. Received nothing. Rang and they said I should of mentioned it. Just send it like other places!! Said they would send one. Nothing came! Chicken on mixed grill was also sooo dry. Tiny wrap for the mega mixed grill. Honestly terrible.

Yeah I have had a couple of experiences which you would think I would have learnt from. But this time am done with this place. Got a cheese burger which is a food I love. I got the food, opened the box and was instantly hit with a potent horrible smell from the burger. I checked it and despite the bottom bun being a little soggy I could not explain the smell. But it was that vile I threw it in the bin and did not even take a single bite. It smelt like it had been sat in the sun for a week.

One of if not the worst takeaway We have ever had, ordered the mixed grill WITHOUT kebab meat and what did I get? a full tray of the bloody stuff 3 pieces of what was supposed to be lamb but were more like small pebbles, plenty of chicken which was inedible so over cooked. Sea food pizza which was so under cooked as to be even more inedible than mixed grill.

Had a kebab here last night now this morning I’m wrenching to be sick and my stomach is burning as if it’s bleeding or something

Orderd a takeaway they took the money, charged me £3 for delivery and never even bothered sending the food out, gave this establishment time to see if they would do the right thing and sort the issue, instead they have done absolutely nothing, waiting on refund through just eat, never pay these people in advance!

Washington best place for a burger or a kebab chicken or donner... Should deffo try I highly reccomend this place... Next time I'm in a want a discount for this review haha 😎

Sadly the sirloin steak I ordered was extremely tough and the nachos had no salsa in them so they were very very dry ☹ my boyfriend said that his kebab was 'alreet..' but bit salty.

Best pizzas in Washington however poor selection. Seems like the pizza choices were designed by grannies for grannies.

If you want your food this century, don't order from this horrendous shop. Fast food my bot. Been waiting 3 hours to be told the order is now cancelled and after calling numerous times. You can blame the deliverer but this was my exact expirience when waiting for the food in store, more than 1 hour. Nice food but never again unfortunately.

Absolutely shocking, ordered at 23.40. food eventually arrived at 01.15 after being told at 00.15 it was out for delivery and then ringing the shop at 00.30 to be told it will be 10 minutes. When I asked the driver where the food had been and why the shop stopped answering the phone he said "that's because the shop closed an hour ago" so I asked why it had been in his car for an hour, he answered "not my problem"!!!! Food was cold and well below standard. Never, ever, ever again will i order from this place

Plastic donner meat not be ordering again

First time I ordered from here the food was perfect heat,perfectly cooked and even me having a cold tasted really good

Bought food from just eat from grill house came at 12 10 am other night got a lasagna and all meat parmo and chips onion rings all was cold tryed ringing and invalid number and just eat said to ring ....... ?????

Used grill house many times used to love the kebabs last few times meat has been dry as a bone and the chips half raw very disappointing

Ordered from here tonight.. 20/09/2020 We got lamb chicken and Donna meat.. was RAW! Absolutely disgusting. Was missing an item from our order Chicken Parmo tasted out of date! Vile! Never again! Person we spoke to didn’t even care about our complaint. Would never go here again! Vile just vile. Don’t know how you lot can rate it more than one star.

How on earth the average rating is 3.6 is beyond me, the BBQ chicken pizza I have just had, was that disgustingly good, I could happily die never having another BBQ pizza for the remainder of my existence and would be satisfied with the experience I have had this evening.... if the chef does not get paid a minimum of £20.00 an hour... then the business is operating criminally. Absolute ledge.

Garlic bread was tasteless and the white cabbage was brown! Apparently "due to vinegar " when i rang up to complain. Not very helpful at all won't be ordering again thanks. Naan or pitta whatever it was was dry and the kebab meat was disgusting.

Ordered megamix grill, use to be longtime customer but never again, service is horrible. Order kebab with chips they sent with salad instead and told me I ordered it wrong, then I asked for another kebab for another family member who just came into the house when 1st order got delivered and asked for extra green chilli in the notes, kebab arrived with no green chilli and when I called they told me they dont serve green chilli and that it is called green pepper when on google the item is called green chilli. The nan bread that came with both kebabs was completely cold too and I had to reheat it. If I could put 0 stars I would. Never again.

Although the burgers are nice the service is terrible. Refused to serve customers or to even look our direction. If I were able to rate lower I would. Do not recommend.

Average food. but was short changed on two occasions

Although my order arrived quicker than expected and still hot. An Order consisting of two drinks a burger, chips and a garlic bread. They forgot one of the items and got the other completely wrong. How? I enjoyed the burger even though it wasn't what i ordered, but the garlic bread was a little overdone and underwhelming.

Lamb kofteh kebab is a joke! It's a lamb burger. I could have bought better quality lamb burger from herrons. Never again

Best kebab I have had so far. The meat texture is very delicate with great taste of spice. They use 100 fresh cut up vegetables for the salad. And the best is the bread. It's handmade and very chewy. Yum yum! It has seats inside too so it's not just a takeaway though not the most glamorous one. BBC news is often played on the TV there. Great kebab place. Definitely recommended.

Ordered a chicken wrap with chips and garlic on the 23/06/2017 waited nearly two hours for wrap to turn up then when I opened the wrap there was a few pieces of chicken in one chip and no garlic and the wrap it's self smelt off and was dry when I phoned the shop they told me they would send money out that night waited another hour to be told they are not bringing money back asked to speak to manger number of times eventually got my money back after driving to shop next day and demanded it back still waiting for manger to contact me the staff in the shop had no manners at all

Tried the grill house tonight for the first time must say a massive disappointment! Chicken kebab served in a hard dry salty thin crispy nan bread with minimum dry pieces of chicken and paid for chilli sauce that they didn't even bother to put in the bag! Needless to say the food was binned never to return!!! Feeling ROBBED!

The Best takeaway I've ever had!!! The stakes ,chicken ,lamb and everything is fresh and cocked with passion .unreal taste !! I will always order from here YoU GOT TO TRY THE BEST FOOD!!
