Grill City in Bradford

I recently dined at Grill City in Bradford, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The lentil dish I ordered was nothing short of incredible—perfectly seasoned, hearty, and full of flavor. It’s clear that the chefs put a lot of care and attention into their cooking. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure my dining experience was enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and even offered great recommendations. If you’re in Bradford and looking for a place with delicious food and top-notch service, Grill City is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

absolutely delicious food everytime

Ordered tawa. Lamb and chicken curry was good. Masala fish was good. Chips were a letdown. Lamb seekh kebabs were excellent. Wings had too much peri sauce on them. I wish they would sort out heating as it gets v cold. Otherwise it would be 5 *.

Me and my family came here and we ordered grilled seekh kebabs which weren’t even grilled in fact they were fried. My wife ordered lamb Paalak the dish served wasn’t even lamb it was mutton which was uncooked and unseasoned. I myself ordered chicken tikka masala and asked for it to be saucy and spicy and it was not saucy at all in fact it was dry. There was no aroma or sensation of the food being cooked fresh. My daughter ordered chicken steak on naan, the chicken wasn’t even cooked properly it was still rubbery. My son ordered meat lasagna which was piled with cheese and barely any meet filling which didn’t provide no taste what so ever. Surprisingly the mango lassi was nice. Normally the food is amazing , but in my opinion I think there are 2 different chefs that are not aware of the a b or c of cooking. I don’t think I will be returning here again.

Went to Bradford for an appointment and stumbled on Grill City for lunch. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was amazing. Will definitely recommend if you are looking for grilled food in Bradford. The only downside was there were taking cash only at that time but everything else was spot on.

Excellent place to go out with family,it's our regular place to go staff is very friendly and the food is amazing, fresh and tastes out of this world.

Food delivery was good. The chicken was burnt. I did call and let them know, but all was said that they will let the chef know. Nobody likes to pay for burnt food. (I have a picture too). Usually they are very good though :)

I ordered a charga full chicken however they sent me a normal peri peri full chicken. Charged me extra money for no reason.

Great food, we had the tava for 2..all items where very tasty especially the wings and the lamb masala. The atmosphere is a little boring 😴 The service overall okay, the young lady waiter was pleasant..however the two gentleman lack basic customer rapport building skills. We would eat from here again, probably takeaway.

In terms of aesthetics this place is very run down, awful parking staff were not hugely helpful either as I had to ask for my ordered drink 3*!! But the food let me tell you far made up for it !!! The seek kebbabs and fish genuine chefs kiss

Very good food at a reasonable price

This place was incredible, I ordered a Tawa for 2 and it was super delicious. Me and my friend managed to finish it all, it was sizzling when it came and every bite was delicious. We will definitely be going again. 😋

First visit for me. I had a shared platter of a range of dishes which was reasonably priced. I found the food to be hot and well cooked. My only concern was the lack of toilet paper in the gents. I would certainly go again.

Best service I've ever received at a restaurant! The guy with grey cap (awais) was friendly, prompt, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We ordered 1 kg lamb karhai it was very delicious. The food was really good. Well done...

Disappointing Decline I visited Grill City back in November 2023 with my wife and kids, and we had an excellent experience. The food was spot on, the place was clean, and the service was great. We appreciated the small touches, like the chutneys served in neat little plates, a fresh salad, and a jug of water with glasses. I was so impressed that I recommended this place to my friends. However, during a recent visit with a group of friends coming from Middlesbrough, the experience was completely different and very disappointing. We arrived expecting the same quality but were given a cramped seating area with sticky tables. We asked to be moved, but the new table was even worse covered in small food particles, sticky surfaces, and an oily floor. The chutney, once served so nicely, was now presented in unappealing glass bottles. When we went to the restroom to wash our hands, the situation deteriorated further. The toilets were in a terrible state, with dirty, used tissues on the sink, wet floors, and an overwhelming smell that made us lose our appetite entirely. After such a disheartening experience, we decided to leave and find somewhere else to eat, not wanting to waste our journey on what had become a bad experience. I was genuinely embarrassed for recommending this place to my friends. Sadly, I can no longer endorse Grill City based on this visit, as the decline in cleanliness and overall quality was significant. Unfortunately, this new table was in the same condition—sticky, with small food particles on the surface. This was disappointing, especially after having been seated so quickly. We then decided to wash our hands before sitting down, but the condition of the restrooms was unacceptable. The restrooms were in a state of disarray, with dirty, used tissues on the sink, wet floors, and a strong odor that made us lose our appetite. Given the overall situation, we decided it was best to leave. Additionally, we noticed one of the staff members was preoccupied with their phone at the counter, and there was no proper greeting or anything that felt inviting when we entered. I’ve been to other restaurants that are even busier, yet they manage to maintain cleanliness and a high standard of service. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case during our visit. Regarding the cutlery setup, I understand your aim to meet customer needs. However, the sauces served in large glass bottles looked old and unappealing, which detracted from the overall experience. Had the experience been on point, we could have spent good money enjoying our meal. However, the lack of proper communication and the subpar conditions made it difficult for us to stay. I’ve updated my review to reflect four stars for the food based on my previous experience in November, but the service and atmosphere will remain rated at one star. Our recent visit was a disappointment, particularly after traveling from Middlesbrough with high expectations based on our past experience. I hope this feedback is helpful for you. Improved communication, staff training, and a stronger focus on cleanliness are essential, especially during busy times. With these adjustments, I believe Grill City can regain the high standards that initially impressed me.

Grill City is one of our go to Restaurants & we often order from here, so I was extremely disappointed when the curries we had ordered were well over seasoned with salt, to the point of making the food taste bitter. I really can't believe the chef hadn't tasted the food prior to delivery. Unbelievably disappointing!

The food was really good but the workers weren’t. We have ordered from their place 3 times in 2 weeks the 2nd and 3rd time they messed up our order and set it to the wrong house and then they tried charging us more when it was their fault we didn’t get our food correctly it’s a shame because their food isn’t actually bad.

I had seen this Grill Centre on TikTok so thought to pay a visit. I ordered a Emperor Tawa for 4 persons and what a surprise. The food, the presentation together with the service were all above my expectations. I would definitely recommend and call again.

First time visit and I was not disappointed, went for the mix grill for two. Heavily portioned and very flavoursome. I would certainly visit again and bring friends and family. Price is spot on and staff are friendly.

Had the Desi Nihari. Absolutely terrible. Basically a very running soup with at least a centimeter of oil on top, and one joint of lamb on the bone. The lamb was cooked tender and fell straight off, however the amount of meat on it was miniscule and very fatty. There was nothing else in the dish other than the joint and the soup. Once I'd eaten the meat I was left with nothing else edible, I couldn't even use the chapati to soak it up as it was so oily. The taste of the soup was also not very good. There is no description of the dish on the menu, so I took a gamble. Also previously had the chicken Karahi which was just spicy, no other flavours going on. Wouldn't go back.

Really well priced fresh and tasty food , got the tawa for 3 with the chops and extras and was all round impressed. Added a half grilled peri chicken and that stood out really delicious and great service from the staff . Cash only which is a downside but plenty of cash points nearby

Bought the tava for 4 with sheekababs, chicken wings, chicken masala, goast curry and chips with naan. Food was very tasty no complaints there. Portion was very filling 3 grown lads and we were full. Would recommend to anyone. I haven't tried anything else yet so can't say much about the rest of the menu. For the price, taste and portion can't go wrong.

Nice mid range family orientated restaurant. Excellent food. We got the 1kg Karahi Lamb and 1kg Karahi Chicken between the four of us - we were hungry. Taste was awesome and the meats were succulent. I would definitely recommend.
