First visit for me. I had a shared platter of a range of dishes which was reasonably priced. I found the food to be hot and well cooked. My only concern was the lack of toilet paper in the gents. I would certainly go again.

Best service I've ever received at a restaurant! The guy with grey cap (awais) was friendly, prompt, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We ordered 1 kg lamb karhai it was very delicious. The food was really good. Well done...

Disappointing Decline I visited Grill City back in November 2023 with my wife and kids, and we had an excellent experience. The food was spot on, the place was clean, and the service was great. We appreciated the small touches, like the chutneys served in neat little plates, a fresh salad, and a jug of water with glasses. I was so impressed that I recommended this place to my friends. However, during a recent visit with a group of friends coming from Middlesbrough, the experience was completely different and very disappointing. We arrived expecting the same quality but were given a cramped seating area with sticky tables. We asked to be moved, but the new table was even worse covered in small food particles, sticky surfaces, and an oily floor. The chutney, once served so nicely, was now presented in unappealing glass bottles. When we went to the restroom to wash our hands, the situation deteriorated further. The toilets were in a terrible state, with dirty, used tissues on the sink, wet floors, and an overwhelming smell that made us lose our appetite entirely. After such a disheartening experience, we decided to leave and find somewhere else to eat, not wanting to waste our journey on what had become a bad experience. I was genuinely embarrassed for recommending this place to my friends. Sadly, I can no longer endorse Grill City based on this visit, as the decline in cleanliness and overall quality was significant. However, I’d like to clarify what happened from our perspective. When we first arrived, me and my four friends were seated at a table that was cramped and sticky. We asked to be moved and mentioned that we didn’t mind waiting. However, we weren’t given much time to wait, and it felt a bit rushed when we were directed to another table. Unfortunately, this new table was in the same condition—sticky, with small food particles on the surface. This was disappointing, especially after having been seated so quickly. We then decided to wash our hands before sitting down, but the condition of the restrooms was unacceptable. The restrooms were in a state of disarray, with dirty, used tissues on the sink, wet floors, and a strong odor that made us lose our appetite. Given the overall situation, we decided it was best to leave. Additionally, we noticed one of the staff members was preoccupied with their phone at the counter, and there was no proper greeting or anything that felt inviting when we entered. I’ve been to other restaurants that are even busier, yet they manage to maintain cleanliness and a high standard of service. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case during our visit. Regarding the cutlery setup, I understand your aim to meet customer needs. However, the sauces served in large glass bottles looked old and unappealing, which detracted from the overall experience. Had the experience been on point, we could have spent good money enjoying our meal. However, the lack of proper communication and the subpar conditions made it difficult for us to stay. I’ve updated my review to reflect four stars for the food based on my previous experience in November, but the service and atmosphere will remain rated at one star. Our recent visit was a disappointment, particularly after traveling from Middlesbrough with high expectations based on our past experience. I hope this feedback is helpful for you. Improved communication, staff training, and a stronger focus on cleanliness are essential, especially during busy times. With these adjustments, I believe Grill City can regain the high standards that initially impressed me.

Very good food, but be prepared for long waits at peak times

Brilliant service brilliant food briliant staff went with my family today. Eveyone enjoyed it only flaw was obviously i didnt have cash so had to run around looking for cash machines. Would recommend and visit again when back in bradford.

The food was really good but the workers weren’t. We have ordered from their place 3 times in 2 weeks the 2nd and 3rd time they messed up our order and set it to the wrong house and then they tried charging us more when it was their fault we didn’t get our food correctly it’s a shame because their food isn’t actually bad.

Ordered food online from UberEats as I wanted to use my business account but wouldn't let me sit inside and eat and quite rude to my friend overall food was decent.

I had seen this Grill Centre on TikTok so thought to pay a visit. I ordered a Emperor Tawa for 4 persons and what a surprise. The food, the presentation together with the service were all above my expectations. I would definitely recommend and call again.

Bland burger and cold chips wouldn’t recommend

First time visit and I was not disappointed, went for the mix grill for two. Heavily portioned and very flavoursome. I would certainly visit again and bring friends and family. Price is spot on and staff are friendly.

Had the Desi Nihari. Absolutely terrible. Basically a very running soup with at least a centimeter of oil on top, and one joint of lamb on the bone. The lamb was cooked tender and fell straight off, however the amount of meat on it was miniscule and very fatty. There was nothing else in the dish other than the joint and the soup. Once I'd eaten the meat I was left with nothing else edible, I couldn't even use the chapati to soak it up as it was so oily. The taste of the soup was also not very good. There is no description of the dish on the menu, so I took a gamble. Also previously had the chicken Karahi which was just spicy, no other flavours going on. Wouldn't go back.

Really well priced fresh and tasty food , got the tawa for 3 with the chops and extras and was all round impressed. Added a half grilled peri chicken and that stood out really delicious and great service from the staff . Cash only which is a downside but plenty of cash points nearby

Absolutely amazing food. First time we've had food delivered from here and it did not disappoint. Came at the exact time we specified. Peri chicken and mixed steak were exceptional. Finally found a go-to for peri chicken!

Nice tasty Kashmiri food the tawa grilled food is excellent

Bought the tava for 4 with sheekababs, chicken wings, chicken masala, goast curry and chips with naan. Food was very tasty no complaints there. Portion was very filling 3 grown lads and we were full. Would recommend to anyone. I haven't tried anything else yet so can't say much about the rest of the menu. For the price, taste and portion can't go wrong.

Nice mid range family orientated restaurant. Excellent food. We got the 1kg Karahi Lamb and 1kg Karahi Chicken between the four of us - we were hungry. Taste was awesome and the meats were succulent. I would definitely recommend.

Came from Scotland for a wee holiday to Bradford and I must say I highly recommend this fast food restaurant owner was really kind and the chicken karahi was amazing one of the most amazing fast food restaurants in Bradford if you do come to Bradford definitely Come here.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

the food here is always on point, they never disappoint the food is always fresh big portions I got the emperors tawa for 2 and was enough to feed 4, highly recommend eating from here.

We recently have been refurbishing our home , so we’ve not had a kitchen for a few months. We have been eating our lunch at grill city and been taking food home for family , every time we eat grill city , the food is always quality tasty , they are very consistent with the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen. The Tawa and generally the whole menu is very reasonably priced . Over this time we have met the owners and staff who have shown great customer service , very friendly & attentive. They meet all our requests . Me and my family are customers for life , would recommend anyone to go .

I’m a regular and have no complaints about the quality of the food. Always 100%. I called the takeaway to ask if they can provide an alternative drink as didn’t want Pepsi or 7up, I was disappointed to hear the takeaway isn’t offering alternative drinks especially with the atrocities happening to the Palestinians and he even said we’re not boycotting those drinks. No compromise freshly grilled food. Excellent quality and value. The curries and nans are great too, especially the freshly made homemade sauces. Staff are always helpful, polite and very amenable.

Put more source and the chicken was not fully cooked

If you want to eat your food in a COLDROOM. Then is your go to place. The food is good Dnt get me wrong. But the place is freezing cold to which our food went cold very fast told the staff. To my surprise they found it funny. Asked for more naan due to it going cold only to be told sorry iv just turned the tandoor off. Sayin why didn’t u ask for it b4. Mate why didn’t your waiters come and ask wud you like any thing else like other places shame we didn’t enjoy our food due to it being very cold. U need to fix up guys.
