Greko Willerby in Kingston upon Hull, City of

Oh my days! If you want to feel like you're walking the streets of Athens, just walk by Willerby Road whilst Greko is working!! Then pop in and get the best Greek AUTHENTIC nosh. As a Greek, I may be biased, but also I know what the food should taste like. And it's simply beautiful little bites from home, or my mums kitchen. The family that runs it also has Greko in Trinity Market if that's more convenient, though more options are available in the Willerby one. What else can I say?! Highly recommended!

Unfortunately can't eat from here as not Halal,but do deliveries for them on Deliveroo and Uber eats. Food looks great otherwise must try if you like Greek gyros etc

An amazingly successful Greek family business! First seen in Hull Trinity Market and now here and in Beverley with their actual restaurant! So glad that they chose this location away from the, so called 'avenues trifecta'. There's a reason for that success; attention to their supply and ensuring the standards do not fall; authentic Greek tastes, (the very fact that so many Greeks visit this place so often should be a vote of confidence), and of course the authentic Greek hospitality, welcoming you with a smile and appreciation of your returning business. Highly recommended indeed! P.S. Don't forget to try the other sweet Greek treats, such as bougatsa, kataifi etc.

Good foods nice and friendly staff

Always turning online ordering off!! It says open on Google yet never answer their calls! So how the hell are we going to order!! 3 days in a row tried ordering no joy! I found another place to go to from now on who are more reliable AND answer their calls!

Food is amazing, but twice now they have missing a Gyros off our order, and when we complained they blamed the Uber eats driver for stealing it, even through the packaging was still stapled closed, and they won’t send another out for delivery.

Never had a bad experience from Greko, I'd say it's my favourite take out across the whole of Hull. Can sometimes take a little longer to get food prepared as they don't always have meat or chips cooked and sat getting cold etc

I can only say we are in love with the pita wraps, as I am writing my mouth is watering again xx, we really liked the quality of the food and by popping in we saw the family really takes well care of the business… I would love to see smaller portions or kids menu but I order some sides for my toddler and he enjoyed as well.

All I can say is, Fabulous I can't recommend this place enough, clean establishment and food is pit of this world

12.50 for a box. You get nothing. Very poor quantity of meat. Plenty of Salad and chips. Meatless

Long wait and most products in the box were out of stock, All 3 beers out of stock and the Gyros we ordered came as a box meal......However the food I received was excellent quality.

Having got home and realised 1 of my 5 meals were missing they were not able to deliver meaning I had to collect. I was promised additional deserts for the trouble but they did not provide on collection. The meal had more chips and much less chicken than normal. Very poor.

Always busy and now we know why: Greko serves fantastic food with wonderful, cheerful , professional service and a smile . Plenty of delicious vegan options aswell as tasty meat dishes. So good to find a takeaway serving good tasty food that doesn’t feel unhealthy . Great greeting on the telephone and assistance with the order , 10/10 for the service when we collected. Would highly recommend and we will be back !

Two stars awarded overall for service level, three lost for price, portion size and taste. Good order process and delivered within half an hour but that's where the positives stop I'm sorry to day. The image shown is what I have just paid £18 for (Chicken Souvlaki Box). I bought this as the evening meal for me and the wife as I just got paid. Two chicken skewers, four small pieces of bread, some chips, dry lettuce and half a tomato. As I opened the box we both felt let down by the portion so I put the oven on and started preparing another meal for us to eat shortly. If I was served this as a starter for two in a restaurant for £18 I'd still raise an eyebrow and ask 'How Much'? I suspect that this is a meal designed for one person and if so £18 is way off the mark. We will be ordering from a local Chinese style takeaway in the future I suspect as we can order a meal for two which we really like for around £10. Please remember Greko that this is a takeaway in Hull, not London.

Popped in on our way home to get tea. Parking was right outside, the service was fast and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious! We got a halloumi wrap and a halloumi box. Both were outstanding! Big portions, reasonable price and the best halloumi around. We’ll be back!

Would rate Greko as the best takeaway in town! Best Gyros tried ever (outside Greece) - well presented, tastes nice and not greasy like the local takeaways ! Can feel the freshness as you step in !

This is the best takeaway in Hull. Clean, delicious, not greasy, fast service, great presentation, filling. And oregano chips, just perfect. They don't deliver (as of Jan 2023) but I'd run from Leeds to get this down my gullet.

Wanted to visit after having heard good reports for a while and wasn't disappointed. Great quality food, good range of options and masses of it for the money. Bit of a wait from placing my order but not too bad and to be fair expected given how popular/busy it is. Will be back

Visited this place as it came highly recommended treat myself to a'chicken gyro with allumi fries. It was amazing definitely going back . Staff very friendly and polite and the place was very clean . Made me feel like smashing a plate lol

Omg what a spot! Incredibly delicious food, we preordered and there was a queue out the door when we arrived. After tasting it we knew exactly why! Would recommend getting a portion of their Oregano Chips with anything else you buy they are amazing! ... fingers crossed they franchise down to the south of England!

Chicken gyros is brilliant, not too greasy, decent amount. Fried halloumi also a good choice! They have a variety of desserts too! Looking forward to trying a freddo cappuccino once they start making coffee 🤤🤤🤤

The gyros are mouth watering 😋 my son is absolutely obsessed with the food here and he can be very picky with food at times so it's a 5 star from us

Lovely, clean takeaway food is fantastic

The food is great but they have increased the box meal from £8 to a whopping £10. Quantity wise, Yes there is more in it than a wrap, but not 2 quids more! And I do wonder if opening this shop is why the delay in getting the Trinity Market stall back up and running

Just went first time tonight after several recommendations from friends. Truly divine authentic Greek Cuisine take away. Very tasty non greasy well flavoured meat. Chips had a wonderful oregano flavour. Salads and tzatziki freshly made. Staff friendly and efficient. Loved the huge folding window that opened up to see staff working in a spotless kitchen! Quite a queue but I guess that speaks for itself. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Should be 0 stars. What a joke. If it wasn't bad enough that they gave us 2 wraps after charging us for 3, one of the said wraps had a hair sat dead in the middle. Could not get in touch after numerous attempts, get your hair nets on and sort it out. Will not be returning.
