Lovely jumbo sausage, chips and gravy. A little bit priced than expected but was lovely to eat, reasonable price for the area at £6 but can't complain about the quality and quantity. Lovely friendly staff

I’m extremely disappointed with both the food and the customer service at this takeaway. My wife went in to pick up our fish and chips, and when she got home 5 mins after receiving, the food was stone cold, not fresh, overcooked or dirty oil used, and drenched in excessive spice powder, making it inedible. We decided to return the food and request a refund, but the staff were not only rude but completely unhelpful. They offered to refry the chips but refused to refund the money my wife had paid as she requested. Even worse, they suggested putting the fish back on display if she left the food behind. Food was then left behind and my wife left the shop without the £14 she had paid. This is completely unacceptable, and we were treated with complete disrespect. This was an incredibly frustrating experience, and we will not be returning. I highly advise others to think twice before ordering here. Much better Chip Shops in the area of Hull.

Amazed this place is rated 4.4 when it is at best average. So many good fish and chip shops in Hull close by and some great chippys a short drive away. Fish frozen not fresh, chips were ok but the patties are not good.

The place was really nice and clean and it did not have a pungent fish smell that can be found in many chippies. Staff was lovely and held good conversation. The portion size was good in accordance with the price. The fish and chips were really good and fresh and had plenty of salt and vinegar no skimping out whatsoever. Absolutely recommend.

I went to get fish and chips for my grandma who was admitted in the hospital and the staff were so lovely and kind and went above and beyond for their customer service. It was lovely to see a halal fish and chip shop and the shop looked very clean and hygienic. As for the food, it was one of the best fish and chip shop I have been to! So lovely to see hijabis as well, I hope this business has an abundance of barakah x

Delicious fish and very nice service.

We found them open on a Friday night when most other fish n chip shops were closed. The place was lovely and clean, the food was tasty and fresh and the staff were friendly and genuinely interested in us. We hope to visit again before we leave (the Aussies)

I walked for 15 mins just to find out the place is closed!!! Despite on Google maps it's said otherwise.

We stopped by on our way to meet a friend to have our first Pattie while in Hull! We’re from the US and we’re instructed we we’re not allowed to leave Hull without trying one. This place was great, and the two ladies that took care of us before closing for the evening were very friendly. They made sure we got the vinegar, chip seasoning, and some garlic mayo for the full experience - really enjoyed it! We’re looking forward to coming back when we return to hull next year.

Not ashamed to say that crisp and fry has become one of our regular weekly treats. Some of the best fish I have ever had (Where do you source from because some of them are the size of sharks!!), fab pricing and the staff are the nicest people ever, always so happy and smiley (and very generous with the scraps 😉). My mum now demands fish and chips from this place when she comes to visit, and so far we’ve been too afraid to say no. And we don’t need an excuse. Keep up the great work!

Not only it is halal, but it's also delicious. Make sure you add vinegar and salt to your fish and maybe some chip spice will help elevate that taste. The batter is tasty and I would recommend to complement the fish with curry instead of gravy and patties instead of chips 👍🏼

worst chip shop in hull pattie was rock solid burnt chips was under cooked peas was like water an for 5star is a joke so i leave my honest review who ever cookd my food must cooked it 3 times

Lovely crisp fish and chips and the curry sauce is 10/10.

Lovely little family business. I love the taste of their fish and chips. They are careful when it comes to hygiene and cleanliness. Great customer service. I know they would triple their business if they use a delivery service like Just Eats or Deliveroo.

Fish is good. Chips could do with a revive!

Very friendly and nice staff, I've tried their burgers, they were very crispy and delicious, only they need to put lettuce and sauce on them, because they were dry a little bit.

Pleasant staff, good prices and very nice food. Needs better menu on Google though and some offerings such as pies and beans.

Best Fish and Chips place in Hull..and Halal too

When these people say crisp they actually mean it. White, fluffy fish. Gorgeous chips never black or green like some. Never mushy. Been here about 5 times now over the year and I love it. The staff are also really friendly and go the extra mile. 😊😊😊👌👍

This chippie serves really good haddock and chips - cooked to order, with really tasty chips. And the service is utterly delightful - two very sweet young sisters served us with great charm. Probably the best thing about this otherwise rather shabby and depressing area!!

A very convenient chippy with late opening times and lovely staff. The girls in there are always friendly and fun with me and my young daughter. Food is good and prepared quickly if they don't already have things prepared. Plenty of choice on the menu for everyone and service with a smile or 3 :)
