Greggs in Doncaster

Absolute shocker, one member of staff. Cold food and couldn't get a sausage buttie cos just eat!😂. Not expecting the Ritz but boy this was poor.

Hot coffee, okay sausage roll, quick service, and an excellent price. It’s a grab-n-go place, so if you’re expectations are in line with that you should find something to satisfy. I’d return.

Enjoyed the flat white a lot. Top tier coffee for a cheap price. Excellent value. Friendly staff and fast service. The vegan sausage, cheese and beans melt was piping hot. Dangerously hot. Wouldn't recommend.

We crave for pancakes and had high hopes given Greggs name. We hope this Rose St. Is not representative of the franchise. Tasteless pancakes, scarce cream and syrup, slow service while only few tables were busy. Bad luck ???

Visited this greggs store today while shoping and attending the Xmas markets, I asked the customer assistant if there was a code needed for the toilet which she replied no you just go in and the assistant next to her on the other till muttered a joke under her breath and they both kept laughing and it made me feel uncomfortable as I hadn't even been finished getting served at the time which I found very rude, maybe instead of hiring immature wains with no manners and simple minds you should hire a cleaner for your toilets as they were absolutely stinking, sticky piss stains all over the floor, toilet stunk of piss, used tissues all over the floor, toilet seat was also covered in piss, disgusting looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days, won't ever be back at this store again.

Visited again yesterday for breakfast, staff excellent,great Manager, he is very helpful and so polite,breakfast rolls are excellent

Greggs is normally excellent, but this branch leaves something to be desired. Yes, it is in a busy location, but for much of the late morning, the queue was out of the door. Two people serving, two faffying around in the background. No attempt made to have more servers to reduce he length of the queue. They will lose a lot of business when people see how many are in front of them. Then there are the prices £2.50 is not expensive for a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea, but in Newcastle or Carlisle for example, it is considerably less. The bacon was also overcooked. No tables were cleared or cleaned whilst I was there. The staff are friendly. It's good but it could be better.

Had bacon and sausage breakfast rolls yesterday morning, absolutely gorgeous, lovely and hot and also great coffee, staff very pleasant and cost excellent, definitely worth visiting.

First of all let me point out out that this was my first visit to Gregg's full stop so I have no basis for comparison of what they expect from thier stores or not. Second let me point out I have been working in Bakery and Retail for 25 years 1. The service was super slow..... One guy at the service point to take orders, make coffee etc and to place toasties in the oven while the queue was sticking out the front door 2. I selected a chicken mayo baguette, my son a pizza slice and my wife a cheese and ham toastie with a cup of tomato soup..... The baguette was surprisingly bad; a lettuce filled affair with chicken mayo topping would be the best description, the actual chicken didn't make it in...... Next the toastie... Filled with cheese and ham and topped with cheese, my wife said it was quite nice .... Remember this part though... Bread topped with cheese because this brings me nicely to my son's pizza; we were given it cold (not sure if this is standard though a hotplate/cabinet would surely help here) so we asked to have it warmed up, surely this is normal for a sit in cafe? But apparently not! 'We can't' was the detailed answer! After further prodding we were told it was baked fresh so couldn't be reheated..... Um ok whatever... So we go full circle a toastie can be heated but a pizza cannot? 3. The cleanliness or lack of......We got a seat by pushing a few empty cups over to the already full table next to us, all of the unoccupied tables had leftover items on them but this may not have been a problem if the bin not been spilling over and the area which I assume is a tray return area was now known as what I have now affectionately called "The mountain of Crap" and it's little sister "The Condiments area full of Crap" . One of the three staff that was on came out with a bin bag to clear up, or so I thought, but she simply cleared the top of the condiment table, ignored the bin and did not make eye contact with our mountain friend, so with bag less than 1/4 full off she popped to return to the counter with hands fully unwashed to serve food, how lovely

Rushing past on the way for my train and Joshua made me stop and take notice! I’m a “complicated tea order” person and often that means I defer to the usual “high street coffee” brands but even though his machine made it harder for him, Joshua didn’t falter! He saved me from nipping “next door” and went out of his way to ensure I got exactly what o wanted! Add that to his friendly character resulted in him saving a customer and me leaving, with my complicated order and a very big smile! Thanks Joshua for ensuring I was “present” in Greggs today!

Can't go wrong going to Greggs if you need is a quick bite at a good price. This branch of Greggs is larger than normal and with a seating that a bit more plush than what you'd normally find in a Greggs. There's the usual collection of healthy and not so healthy pastries and savouries. Same they don't sell the vegan sausage roll, I've acquired a fondness for it.

Ottimo luogo per un pasto veloce. Abbiamo preso due panini dal gusto gradevole, il prezzo è contenuto, ottimo per mangiare qualcosa senza spendere una fortuna ma rimanendo in una qualità piuttosto alta (sempre considerando che questo locale fa parte di una catena, quindi sicuramente non si può trovare la qualità di un ristorante stellato). Personale gentile.

I have used many branches of Greggs as you can rely on this chain for good, fresh sandwiches, baguettes, pastries and so on at excellent prices and the coffee is good too for the price you pay. This Edinburgh branch lived up to expectations. It was extremely busy but that is hardly surprising given its location, but the queue moved fast and I purchased a very fresh vegetarian (cheese salad) baguette and a coffee. Excellent value for money for a casual snack.

The queue is always out the door and the service is the slowest I have every experienced. Gave up and went next door instead.

We loved eating here. Good price and tasty. Everyone in my group was pleased with the food. They were patient with me and not being familiar with Scottish menu.

Popped in for lunch as I wasn't 100% and wanted a sugar kick. The goodies were to die die as usual, sensible price too.

You haven't truly experienced Scotland without trying a Greggs. The Macaroni pies, steak bakes and sausage rolls are the best in the world Barr none. I would strongly recommend to any travelers looking for a cheep eat

This Greggs is cheap & cheerful. You can pick up a sandwich, salad, hot savoury item or cake to take away or pay a little more to eat in.

Wanted a quick bite to eat. Greggs provide a range of sandwiches and baguettes, pies, and drinks - hot or cold. Was great to pick up a baguette and bottle of water and have somewhere reasonable to sit down and eat it. Nothing expensive, just plain, straightforward food and drink. This place is just beside the Waverley steps/escalator to the railway station.
