Greggs in Bridgend

I chose to try this chippy cause of all the positive reviews but I was so disappointed. Service was terrible. We didn't know what end to wait to be served as there wasn't a queue. Then they ended up serving the people behind us from both sides and didn't seem to care. They got our small order wrong twice. It felt so awkward walking back a second time. The kids seemed to have enjoyed their meals. I thought the napkin with a lollipop was a nice gesture with the kids meals but only one had a lollipop and the other had two straws instead. I didn't want to say anything though as it was awkward enough having to tell them that they got the order wrong twice.

Very friendly staff and great to converse with. Allowed me to try a sauce I wasn't too sure of which made me surprised by but also made me feel comfortable and welcomed. The food and sauce were really delicious and made me feel I was robbing them blind because of the price. Overall if you want some actual good food but don't wanna spend too much, this is the place to go.

Nobody ever answers phone or it just goes dead! Had really good food in the past but a bit annoyed as been charged twice for meal!!

Amazing chippy. Best in bridgend!
