Greggs in Coleraine

This review is based on my experience with the staff at Gregg’s in Coleraine, who are always very pleasant and helpful, no matter how busy they are. I have to give a special mention to Evan who is especially helpful, nothing is a problem for him. The drinks and snacks are tasty, and you know exactly what you’re getting when you order.

Just popped in for a steak slice, omg meat was tough and rubbery..In the bin, absolutely rank, very very poor to say the least

I was there on Sunday for a quick coffee and a bite to eat. Everything was lovely and the staff couldn’t be more helpful.

Is this the best cafe in Coleraine? Probably not. Is it the worst? Also probably not. Is there room for improvement? Tell me one place there isn’t. Having said all that, this cafe serves decent quick food at a, by today’s standards, reasonable price. Upsides: Friendly staff, reasonable quality food, generally clean and reasonable prices. Level: Seating area is basic. Downsides: Can be a bit untidy during busy periods, there are times when some food items are not available and occasionally some bakes are not as hot as one would expect. Would I return? Yes

I never have high expectations when it comes to fast food chains. This Greggs it isn’t the worst but also it isn’t the best. Food was on the overcooked side while the cleanliness of sit in was in dire need of improvement. One positive is that the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Was greeted on entering the shop by Leanne who was very helpful & did everything with a smile on her face. She explained in a very nice way where to sit & what buns would be nice. It’s seems customer service isn’t dead just yet.

Called into Greggs Coleraine today & was so disappointed! Vegan sausage rolls, the very product that Greggs have been famous for in recent years but they had none ready! In fact the display of products on show was extremely poor , with bare trays for the most part! If you are unable to get the basics right , then you need to ask yourself if the correct management & staff are suitable to work in this store? I'll give it one more try in the near future but it's been seriously lacking on both my recent visits!

Online they say they open at 7 but still closed today at 7:25 and staff quite rude when I asked when they might open. Also, have to say that they could do with a wider range of food options for people with intolerances or allergies.

What is there to say. Greggs are all similar for quality & menu. I like it. Recommend the breakfast bap and drink in the morning. So cheap too.

Just had 2 sandwiches and a free coffee!!!..except the Amercano wasn’t free... even though all the signage says it is!!’ Food and drink was acceptable but the charge was totally unacceptable.... in fact I think illegal!!

Really impressed with the quality of the food and coffee, all at correct temperature, staff friendly and efficient, will definitely be back!

Got served quickly, and there was something everyone found to their tastes. The place was clean and there were plenty of tables to choose from. The only downsides were that the selection wasn't as great on this occasion, and I don't like having to pay more to sit in, especially when hot food is presented on a tray instead of a plate.

My first time in Greggs in Coleraine I was in the company of my young granddaughter who knew what & how to order lol simple meal, with no fuss, pleasant staff & clean premises. Might just go again :-) as a wee reasonable treat.

since opening in coleraine I have visited greggs a few times now and find it to be excellent value.....coffee and a sub roll for 3 quid.....cheap sausage rolls too...........whats not to like

In Coleraine today and decided it was time we visited a Gregg’s. The food on display looked very nice, the place was very clean, the lady who took our order was pleasant and the toilet was clean. My husband enjoyed the sausage rolls and we had a nice cup of tea (in a disposable cup). No complaints.

Been to many Greggs outlets and this is certainly not the best. Staff are apathetic and seem disinterested. Whist you pay extra to sit in you don't get much extra apart from a tray. No mug for your hot drink, no plate and a dirty table. Needs to improve as people will use the many alternatives nearby. On a positive note the food choice is comprehensive and tastes good.

Being a Greg’s customer for years the colerainr branch is a complete let Down. Soggy sausage rolls and cold coffee.

Have been calling for breakfasts, and noticed a definite slide in standards.The no heating policy is daft particularly when you keep croissants etc in a cold cupboard and cook them at 7 a. m?Staff not welcoming, and the bacon bap is served at high speed with a minimum of conversation.Used to like but there are sufficient good breakfast venues.Cheap but not cheerful !

called in yesterday to kill some time,asked for two sausage rolls and a coffee,the rolls where cold so asked for them to be heated,the girl replied after a minute or two we do not reheat there is a batch on and will be ready in 15 mins,after about 15 to 20 mins she brought them down no apology nor did she ask if my wife's coffee needed refreshed. attitude was terrible.

U get wot u pay for in Greggs-all freshly made nd well presented- don’t understand y it is more to sit in- some Greggs don’t charge some do,however if wanting something nd time is limited this is the place to go.well worth the £ .

Have called in a few times now for breakfast. The deal runs til 11am. My choice is almond croissant and cappuccino..... for £2.25! Very tasty! Or you can get an egg and either bacon or sausage bap, again for the same price. There's a good selection of sandwiches, baguettes, wraps and salads for lunch, drinks, pastries. And seem to have offers of meal deals too.Situated in the town centre. No parking outside as its a pedestrian area, however there is a car park just a couple minutes walk away. Sit in or takeaway. Plenty of seating. Bright interior. Friendly staff. Popular place!
