Expensive V McDonalds, over £10 for a large whopper meal with cheese

Rudest Manager I have had the misfortune to deal with in a fast food outlet.Downright ignorant and aggressive in his dealings with us.

Was in the ,Coleraine branch with my grandchildren and husband. I waited patiently in the queue while people in front of me were served. When my turn came a pleasant female member of staff started serving me. I ordered chicken nuggets and. Chicken royale . I then ordered king fries and the server was describing my options when a male person came over , sent her away. He was rude and aggressive from the get go. He demanded to know what fries I wanted, I explained that the young lady had just started to tell me my options, He asked me if I had problem , then reluctantly give me the options .I chose then asked for drinks.I was snapped at again , at the end I asked if he could run over the order, as I was confused as to exactly I had ordered and what I had not. He snapped asked if I had a problem ,adding that he did not like my attitude. At this point on the verge of tears, I pointed out that most of the attitude was coming from his side of the counter, also that I was not the person serving the customers and cancelled the order. I use the outlet fairly regularly and have never been treated that way before. Perhaps I was not going quickly enough for him , having the giving of my order stopped and then restarted with another person caused me to loose my train of thought and caused confusion. I will certainly not frequent that branch again . I cannot think what it is about me that he took so instantly against. It was obvious that there was an issue from the moment he took over the order and spoke to me.

Decent quality food, but slow and unenthusiastic staff

Painful experience ordering. No proper menu in store. Website doesn't work properly and couldn't select this store on website. Guy behind counter was helpful but just took longer than it should to order.

Brilliant food establishment that’s close to the Retail park, the staff are always very attentive and friendly, they get their orders out quick and in a friendly manner. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Because of it's location close to McDonald's it's always quiet so if you are after a quick bite to eat it s perfect

We were coming home from portrush and my son was hungry so we went to Burger King. He ordered a burger and medium fries and I got coke.wait time was short and food was good. My son said it was good and coke was good.But it was annoying that my other son didn’t get anything and we had to wait 30 mins to get to a chippy.

The price displayed for large meal is not what is charged. The staff member I met did not speak until I stared at her and ordered. I have never seen anyone move so slowly, name was Daisey. When finally got my order it was wrong of course as usual. Went to change it and told oh receipt doesn't say plain...well that's Daieys fault then I said. Daisey didn't even flinch...must be something wrong with her, nobody could be that dull. Wish I'd waited in the enormous queue in McDonald's at least they speak to you What a disaster, little wonder they close at 8.

Wouldn't recommend Went into day getting 5 ice creams & the man said he could only do 3 ice creams & that it would take half an hour for the other two ice creams to be ready . Terrible service

Staff polite and friendly, especially the store manager, highly recommend this branch of burger king

Put 2 coke drinks on the tray 1 coke with sugar and 1 without sugar couldn't tell them apart from trying both. They were going to throw them out and refill I said no I'd get my friend to try them both. They forgot the chips for the kids meal. All on all a forgetful service experience but I enjoyed the food will be back. The staff will learn. Give them time.

No matter what burger king burgers always hit the spot. Not a fan of the chips but if you want a decent burger this is your best choice if you're in the area. Alot of food to choose from and the establishment is normally quite empty and quiet so it's a nice place for a relaxing burger.

27/04/24 Me and my family of 3 was going through the said “drive thru” (very sorry excuse of a drive thru) We waited for close to 20 minutes to get to the disgusting drive thru speaker. We were then greeted by a disgusting male voice. We asked if we could get 3 separate orders, which we then got a reply of “NO!” The driver then asked “what?” Which he then proceeded to take our 3 orders (not a funny joke), although the lady at the window was lovely and gave us a better experience but whoever was on the speaker shouldn’t be allowed to go back on it with the attitude we received

Usually this BK is decent. It's not busy so you never have to wait long as supposed to the McDonald's just up the road. But the last few visits that have completely messed up my order, first I asked for a double whopper with no onions and add bacon and cheese. I got a bacon double cheese burger with no salad at all. K w/e it's a one off. Next time i ask for the same thing again double whopper no onions add cheese and bacon, and I get a regular double whopper WITH the onion. They are really dropping the ball lately.

Ordered for online delivery and after waiting an hour the order was cancelled. Any other BK I have been to gives you a large fries in a cardboard container, but here they are in the small paper bag. Defo not a large portion!

Ordered steakhouse crispy chicken & memphis BBQ king chicken. The biggest disappointment, food was cold and poor. Avoid Burger King at all costs. Person behind the counter is in the wrong job. A waste of £20.

Had 2 bacon double cheese burgers and 2 Angus with peppercorn meals. When it came all 4 burgers had just warm meat not hot. It was Saturday 17th Feb. 2024 and not particularly busy.

An absolute disgrace, Cold food, Rude staff and a daugher left feeling unwell Will never be back through your manky doors! Had to give 1 star as zero was not an option

Restrooms were so dirty I would refuse to use these the toilet seat was laying on the floor toilet roll everywhere really unacceptably! Around the sink was mouldy!

I was in BK (burger king) I found it to be quite frankly disgusting the service was shocking and the food was blue moulded. The toilets were disgusting as there was piss everywhere and the smell was disturbing. Only good thing was a kind fella Bailey who helped me out with my order and finally got my food sorted, the manager was no help he was a useless big hur who couldn’t tell his left from his right. He had blonde hair and glasses and was very cheeky

The customer service I received from the man at the drive thru on Sunday afternoon was absolutely despicable.

I had to say stopping for a 'quick bite' early on a Sunday afternoon where I personally wouldn't say was very busy at the time. I waited 25minutes on my food. I had ordered first out of the group I was with and served 15 mins after my friends. I waited and saw the young boy lift a burger from the survey behind him which had been sitting a good 20mins. It was cold. Management really need to get abit of organisation. It's all kids working and no real system in place. Lady beside me asked for a refund as she had waited even longer than me. Very much doubt we will be back

Food is just thrown together. The amount of chips you get is like 9 chips. The bap fell apart so was eating the burger with a fork, the drinks tasted watered down. All together this place is way over priced for the quality and quantity you get . Again like others have said , no wonder McDonald's do so well

Just ate dinner at Burger King Coleraine with the family. Got no ice in the drinks so they were warm, got the wrong Burger when it came so had to take it back,got another one shortly after and was only half cooked or microwaved so never even ate it. Definitely won't be back after this experience the food was disgusting.Hence why its always empty and there's a que for McDonalds🤦

Food was mid and bathroom reeked of urine, clearly isn't cleaned out often.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Absolute awful service from this restaurant this evening. How the ‘Manger’ has the role he has with that attitude I’ll never know! He was so angry and blunt over the drive thru speaker because he couldn’t hear us so I didn’t get to place half of my order as he was beginning to raise his voice and making me feel uncomfortable so I thought driving to the window would solve the issue better. He was even more aggressive at the window yelling that I cannot add anything else onto an order once an order has already been placed? Like why not? This is the most daft thing I have ever heard what business doesn’t want you to add on more and spend more lol! The attitude continued until I had to leave with no order or food! Absolutely appalling customer service! Never been spoke to like this as a customer before never mind by a businesses MANAGER! still in shock

Very good service and food was served hot and fresh. Atmosphere was strange due to quietness of thr restaurant.

Food was very bad and gave me diarrhea so I walked in to the toilet and there was a small corn snake sitting in the toilet bowl (he was kinda cute tho) then when I proceeded to tell the manager he punched me square in the face!!!!!!!!!! Only ate here because of the Doritos whopper deal but found myself enjoying my whopper meal more than anything from McDonalds. It was more expensive than a big mac meal but was really good. Service was very pleasant and helpful too. Will return.

The food was freezing cold, the chips were as hard as a road! The drink was flat , the customer service was terrible their stuff is horrible and dosent know how to treat customers with respect! Wouldn’t recommend going to this place at all! Coleraine riverside park

Walked into the place and instantly began smelling a pungent oder coming from the bathrooms. I was curious and went to check it out. I walked in to the sight of piles upon piles of dead chickens. Is this what we are eating? Despite this i then ordered some chicken nuggets and chips, the chicken nuggets where a solid 5.43453/10, the chips where soggy but also a little bit bitter. I watched one of the workers clock in and they didnt even wash their hands. I took my 94 year old granny here the next day and showed her the dead chicken pile, i was horrified when she began drooling and devoured them all, raw and feathery. I walked out and she followed behind with feathers attached to her lips. Overall not a great experience, wont be back in a hurry anytime soon.

angus burgers always taste like a decent burger should taste, was plenty of space to sit and eat our lunch in a relaxed environment. better burgers than rivals in my opinion

Usually use this particular outlet when up in Coleraine but will probably avoid in the future. From the moment we walked in the attitude of the shift manager that serves us was unreal! You could tell he hates working in a customer serving role instantly. His attitude was off with me using an offer, the card reader not reading correctly first time and when I took two extra napkins you'd have thought he was paying for them himself. He actually took them off my tray and set them on another. When complained to about the absolute state of the tables, he said it had been busy. Really poor service, wouldn't recommend stopping by. It's not like Burger King is inexpensive after all!

Nice area and friendly staff from what I've observed, otherwise I'm unsure what's happening in there because twice now I've come away feeling queasy from their food - once from walking in (their doors were cakes in greasy fingerprints which I tried not to touch), and once now from their drive-thru where I'm not handling anything between paying and receiving the food. Thought the first time was a fluke, but I really have no incentive to return again now.

Most underwhelming overpriced visit to a Burger King restaurant. A very unprofessional supervisor called Mia should be retrained on how to speak to staff and customers...when you get an order wrong admit it and fix it,try not to take it out on staff while you are having an audit of some sort carried out. The staff appeared to be somewhat afraid of this girl who was displaying border line bully tactics. When I commented to this same person about both the state of ALL the toilets and her disgraceful attitude her response was simply put......I have a job to do. Not good in anyone's opinion I would say.

Went through the drive thru last month and had the most disgusting service from a young male through the speaker. I was trying to get up an app code on my phone and within 15 seconds he got frustrated and SHOUTED at me through the speaker. I’ve never ever been spoken to so rudely before by a staff member, I was so appalled and speechless that I told my husband to just drive and we left the drive thru without ordering anything.

Ordered a double melt cheeseburger with ketchup, no cheese at all! Ordered an XL burger and received the regular size, wish was a blessing in disguise as I wasted less food by throwing it away due to the refrigerator-cold bacon and luke warm burger patties. So, 100% of the order was wrong and 50% of it was disgustingly cold. Honestly think this place wouldn't be open if other restaurants around had smaller queues.

Menu board at drive through needs to be put up before you reach the ordering position, because they ask what you want before you even see the menu

Ordered 2 Chicken Royale meals today. The scant portions of chips wouldn't satisfy my 3 yr old grandson. The chicken Royale was very average. Very disappointed.!!

They've definitely upped their game a bit with their menu now. If fast food is what you're looking for you can't go wrong.

Early Sunday afternoon visit whilst shopping in the area, decided we wanted a, quick bite due to time constraints. For a normal outlet I would say it wasn't busy, however for the layout and team ability of this site they were pushed. Layout means you don't quite know where the queue to order is and who's already ordered. It isn't helped by the yellow wet floor signs placed in a line in front of the tills and seating area. As the floor wasn't wet I'm unsure why they were present as the girl maintaining the cleanliness of the seating area was excellent, she never stopped. I got the strong impression that most of the team were new/learning being directed by one person who was also taking drive in orders given they presented as timid and unsure whilst he was clearly more stressed trying to keep a level of order/service. Wait time for the food was reasonable and temp of food OK. Chips were hot, burgers look warm. Whilst I accept there is a cost of living increase value for money is very poor, two large meals, came to under £20 which a large chip being anything but large. The seating area was clean and furniture relatively new however the toilets are the opposite being very out of date, years of poor attention to detail showing from the ground in dirt on the white cubicle door and the daddy long legs en wrapped in a cobweb on the floor confirming the floor hadn't been properly cleaned in a while within the bathroom facilities. Not somewhere I'd return anytime soon in it's current state and for the price I wish I'd made time to support smaller local businesses. Compared to other burger Kings its disappointing. The site in on ground floor and have an accessible entrance.

You can order offers on the app with a number, but when you tell them the app number, eg .app6 They don't trust you you still have to show proof, why bother?? Girl at window drive thru was 1oo% tho.

I asked for vegan burger and they gave me the normal burger. When I told them they snatched the burger from my hands and threw it at me. Then they shot me in the foot, ran out the door and left me locked in all night. The fanta was nice though.

Not a bad option but the drive thru was closed, so we had to go inside even though we wanted take-out. Overall, the ordering process was quick and easy despite how busy the restaurant was. We were in and out within ten minutes. The food was good enough, I ordered a king box double melt which had a nice selection of items for a decent price while my brother had a king royale. Both of us were satisfied with our food, as it was warm and fresh.

It was a long time since i was somewhere that bad. Loaded fries. Is just 5 fries and chped slice of beacon and few pieces of melted cheese for 3.69. Chicken nuget price is OK but the taste. It feels that somebody eaten them spit on plate made new one and cooked again. Beef in burger dreadful it feels that it was frozen since 1990s. First and the last time here. Honestly lads if yous wanna enjoy your Sunday meal choose something else.

Ordered kids meal through drivethru. No drink was supplied and 3 nuggets where omitted. Not brain science to count these. Unhappy kid in the back all way home.

The food was ok, but the floor was sticky in the restaurant and the male toilets were absolutely disgusting - dirty and floor covered in urine. Cleanliness a real issue throughout.

This particular fast food restaurant has been dying a slow death for a long time! You never know if it's going to be opened, sometimes it is, sometimes it's not! The Drive through is sometimes open and other times only the restaurant itself is open! No one actually tells you, your just ignored! Service is pitifully slow & you don't get a sorry or a Thank you, just a grunt if your lucky! I gave this place 2 stars, only because they do a great burger but you either have to wait an age to be served or not at all! Today's visit was the last straw, the Drive through was closed and after waiting a ridiculous amount of time to be served, I just walked! There is a very good reason why McDonald's just up the road is jam packed and Burger King Coleraine is pretty much empty! It's a poorly run store, less than pleasant staff, not enough staff, unreliable opening hours, the list goes on! Either get someone who knows what they are doing & who can turn this place into a going concern or close it down!

Burger King is one of the best fast food takeaways and this one in Coleraine is up there fast service from friendly staff. Only let down is that the shopping precinct is very busy.

The staff all left while we were in the dining area with over 5 other tables present at the time. it took over 10 mins to get someone's attention to get some extra salt and when we tried to leave the door was locked this was at 5pm the worst customer service I've ever experienced

The only redeeming factor was the staff. Mediocre food at a high price however the staff made me feel appreciated. Jonathan was lovely on tills and got me my order on time and with a smile:)
