KFC in Coleraine

Food was over an hour late and freezing cold. Burgers were inedible, fries not cooked properly - hard in middle. All went in bin. Will NEVER order from here again total waste of £26!!!!

Arrived at 7pm for food drive through closed got out of car to go inside and the door is locked too what sort of service is it when it says open to 8pm and they are closed at 7pm!!

Surprise surprise coleraine kfc closed again. This place has to be the worst run kfc in the country.

Without doubt the slowest and worst managed place I ever visited. The system of scanning,apps and offers never works and hasn't done for two years. Management needs to go and restart this place properly from anew. Waits can be long and run out of food constantly as nothing is ready at peak times. Woeful.

I had to drive to get the food. It was cold and had red sauce when I selected no red sauce.

Place never opened and always closed . Not sure if staff or theres food the problem. Avoid dont waste your time travelling . Best to ring before go anywhere

I actually feel sorry for the staff as it's the management/owners to blame. The hot wings I had were obviously from the day before and they wouldn't give me my blue light discount because 'the system was down'. They just need to close this place down and start again with new management. I've travelled a lot and can confirm this KFCs place as the worst in the country.

Terrible service and attitude waited 15 minutes too be served eventually had too ask if I could be served only too be greeted with a stinking attitude definitely will not be back.

I have waited an hour and 35 minutes on a simple order through JustEat, for it to just be cancelled. Absolutely horrendous service. Will not be using either JustEat or KFC again.

No order was delivered and no refund

Ordered food, parts of my order didn’t arrive and when I rang to complain multiple times the phone was hung up. No chance to explain and no food. Very disappointed

Missing a burger, dressing in wrap was wrong.. delivery time changed to 20 mins later than first ETA

Delivery time kept being put back. When it arrived the order was cold, yet food over cooked fries burnt yet soggy. Chicken portions were tiny and fries portion was dismal for the price that was paid. Disgraceful.

Vastly improved performance tonight staffing allowed for clean tables prompt service and food I really did enjoy Long may this continue

Not great today, had to wait at the drive thru for a bit to find out the drive thru was apparently closed due to being short staffed today with no signs or barrier actually closing it off so I had to then wake my 10 month old son up to take him in with me to place my order to then be greeted seeing at least 9 people working with 1 wearing a headset to say they were in fact using the drive thru and if you're paying with card then you have to order kiosk first, got home to find my drink i ordered was wrong, I asked for a club orange but got pepsi max instead which was fine but the plain burger I had ordered wasn't actually plain and the fries I ordered be unseasoned were in fact seasoned, very disappointed with the service and I attitude I encountered today and the food wasn't nice today either

I have seen them pouring dirty and used cooking oil into the ban. This is a hazard to the environment and should be dealt with. The hygiene of the staff is low.

KFC Coleraine is either not open at times stated or you have to wait in the carpark over 20 mins because they have no chicken ready. 6 cars waiting today after 1pm. Has the manager not got insight to ensure food prep is done and plentiful. Most people only get 30 mins + for their lunch and cannot afford time sitting waiting. Staff also need more customer service training so I feel management need looked at to solve their many problems going by reviews.

I bit into my chicken and it was dry, and overcooked to the max. I thought the gravy would redeem it, but it was clumpy yet watery and flavourless. My daughter couldn't finish her chicken because it was horrid and gross. I ordered a boneless bucket, but every piece had a BONE!!!! I saw one of the workers cough without covering their mouth in the kitchen and they didnt wash their hands.

3 prices off sparrow no salt no napkins and the staff need a lesson in customer service manager should learn them how to smile. Would rather drive to derry than go back to coleraine

Brilliant service and food was lovely

Like all fast food joints on a good day it's good and on a bad day it's not so good.

Walked in today with child . Every table had food crumbs , sauce etc sticky and dirty. Asked one of the staff to clean the table we sat at . She came out wiped it and left all the others . Staff stand chatting . The toilets absolutely disgusting. The manager should be ashamed

Worst KFC in the United Kingdom. Open from 12 and claim they deliver but food never comes. They don't even have a delivery driver. Placed an order multiple times only for it to be canceled. Waste of time

Very slow service takes forever to be served

Got some takeaway from here on Uber eats. They cancelled my order two times approximately 15 mins before closing which is not on at all.

Order through the app and took money out my account and still had to reorder my food and then waited a few hours to see if the money would go back into my account and it hadnt so i rang them and the manager was cheeky and hung up the first time and then proceeded to get cheeky when i said if its not in my bank within 3-5 days that i would be coming in to get my money bank and she started to get cheeky

My last review either removed by kfc themselves or tripadivsor did. Dont even bother going here, the foods a dump. I ordered a mini fillet burger and it tasted like pure vinegar (didnt eat the rest after that bite) barely any dressings in it, the chips were okay tbh, and the gravy doesnt have mush taste. Half the time you get chicken from here its slimey (esp the chicken drumstick you get in ), i googled it and it said "Out of date poultry might look slimy." Which means bird meat (chicken), can go slimey if its outa date or not good no more. - Asked my cousin whose a butcher n he said "If the chicken feels sticky or slimy to the touch even after cooking, it's likely bad mate. This sliminess means bacteria growth." But nah, be careful. This is just a heads up, when youre eating takeaway youre posioning yourself anyways.😂

This has to be the worst KFC on the planet. Can't order at the till so they force you use the booths. If you have no card then you won't get food. I got the new burger which was tough and thin, sauce absolutely everywhere and waited over 20mins for our food. We were planning on eating in but found the restaurant cold and when I asked a member of staff to turn the Aircon off they said they couldn't as it's controlled by head office. We were not alone when being forced to take our food away due to cold, and while we waited we witnessed two orders being returned as they were wrong, one lady came back twice as all she wanted a plane burger. Run a mile or if your so desperate for chicken then I suggest you go to the KFC in Ballymena which is ran like a normal store and not this absolute shambles

So this KFC doesn't actually have a till and they force you to use the kiosk making it a card only store. The air-conditioning is constantly on and when me and other customers asked to have it turned off they said it's controlled by head office 🤔 Absolutely terrible store and well worth bypassing and going by the reviews this place needs new management and owners. Food not up to standard and while we sat waiting for over 20 minutes we witnessed three customers returning with wrong orders, absolute joke a store and stay well clear

Very bad service, the website says open but when we reach the store always will be closed. Today its 07.08.24, the website says open till 8 pm when we reached here its closed at 7.48. We came from portrush to coleraine to have dinner unfortunatly clossed. Third time this month same problems. Very good brand and product but the staffs and management spoiling the entire product.

KFC boneless feast never fails to satisfy. The fries were the best we've had yet, so much better than McDonald's spindly, stick in the throats.

They have been “closed” despite having staff inside. This has happened twice.

Met a friend for lunch. To start with Both self order boards wete out of order. and had to wait near 20 minutes to order. When the food finally arrived the fillet burgers and zingers were so thin you could nearly see light through them. Crunchy with zero content. The hot wings were practically hollow crusts of skin. It's a dire state of affairs when the best part of kentucky fried chicken is the coated chips. This kfc was never fantastic but was passable. Now it's an absolute disgrace. Nothing works and the food is total crap. There used to be an Awesome KFC in Portrush in the 90s!! Bring it back and close this dump Down as a bad job. Sort it out!!

Well what can I say! Kfc - a disgrace in all things customer service. The Coleraine kfc store manger is an absolute joke - to run a store and think it’s ok to fob off a customer with a complaint to kfc.com is appalling !! To set the scene I went with the kids to order our Saturday night take away treat. This wk was kfc - what a mistake!!! The one treat we work towards all week and look forward to eating and it ended in disaster. My order came to just shy of £40 - £40 like not exactly a cheap bite. After ordering my food I was asked to park up and the meal would be out in 5 mins - at least 15 mins later could have been 20mins - I got my order only to check it and see I was missing a large gravy. So out of the car I get, go into the store ask for the gravy and then leave. I go to the drive thru as I choose not to go in store and I had to get out and go in-store anyways. When I get home I open the boxes/bags and dish out the food only to realise when I opened up my zinger box meal there was 3 mini fillets instead - that’s right no zinger oh and the large meal i bought, the chips were small (drink was large). And been charged for the cheese for the burger I didn’t get. So i go to ring them - 1st call someone answered didn’t speak and then hung up - 2nd call was answered - well what a delight the store manager is!!! I started to explain what the issue was she interrupted me and asked for the order number I gave this to her and told her it was a drive thru order and continued to say what the issue was! She sharply interrupted and said the number I had gave her would no way be drive a thru order (obv not realising I had quoted the wrong number) (doesn’t change the actually reason as to why I’m ringing) I get you need to pull up the receipt but straight away she was very rude and as if uh I can’t be bothered with this!!! I spotted a number at the top of the receipt I then proceeded to give her that. She then started to read me back my order and asked what’s the issue - so AGAIN I started to tell her - I also told her I had a box of popcorn instead of a piece of chicken she interrupted me and said the box your talking about is the snack boxes you ordered - I told her it wasnt as I was looking at the snack boxes they were correct and that wasn’t the issue it was the missing zinger etc! Not getting anywhere she then said I was to stop treating her like an imbecile - WHAT where did that come from? - like this conversation is going to go well with antagonistic language like this being used. I’ve just waited prob about 30mins in total from queuing up to receiving the incorrect order. And that’s her approach. I obviously said excuse me indeed I’m not im complaining about having pd £40 and having to drive home and yous not giving me the correct order. She then said I’m not listening to this abuse I’m busy and hung up. Of course I rang back and told her she was dealing with it all wrong - ABUSE WHAT!!!!! Simply I’ve have just gave them £40 for an order they got wrong. Her reply was - look we are busy (as if that’s my fault) like since when is it the consumers fault for how busy kfc is and that being an exceptable reason if you order is wrong!!!! that I’m not guaranteed accuracy in getting what I pay for as they’re busy! Obsurb!!!!!! On top of this the manager Kat didn’t have time to listen to me and she told me her resolution was to go to kfc.com and hung up. I phoned straight back and told her what sort of customer service was this no resolution and how would she feel if she paid dear money for an item in a shop went home it was wrong then when you complained about it to be told don’t have time for this go online. She relied by saying we’re going round in circles I will not be answering your number on this phone. Don’t bother ringing back. So my kid sitting at home no burger I got charged for food I didn’t get and the “manager” thinks that it’s acceptable not to offer an apology but instead immediately went down the road of abuse and treating her like an imbecile. I swear I’ve never dealt with the like of it before in my life. I just don’t know but I’m sure as a manager she would have got training on customer service but it didn’t even come close to what she delivered. I told her i sincerely hoped her calls were recorded for training purposes as she could do with it. Her inability to listen firstly to a customer or offer a resolution instead she concentrated on readiNg back my order to me asking for order number pulling me on what she thought was my inability to recognise and identify correct items in my order - is just disgraceful. She is an absolute joke- doesn’t care about the customers and their hard earned cash deciding to spend it in their store. Like it’s the customers through the door that keeps the likes of her in jobs. I really wish people in hospitality would realise that if youve chosen to work for brands like kfc etc there is a standard they expect the staff to follow. I cannot believe that someone who’s meant to be a manager does not have any care or empathy for a £40 order being wrong and offer firstly an apology and secondly a resolution which pleases all parties. Jesus all I was wanting was what I had paid for. Kfc have robbed me of my money and not a bit did he manager care. Like all she had to say was sorry to hear this and I’ll put your name down and you’ll get your burger the next time you visit! Coleraine kfc is a disgrace I wouldn’t waste your time or your money going anywhere near it.

Ordered 2 zinger burgers and got plain burgers with a few pieces of lettuce. The chicken fillets were uneatable. Hard to explain, but they were chewy and jelly like. Took mike out and ate the bread.

Burger was very nice, but the wings were the size if peanuts and there was half a bag of fries! Come on KFC!

Food was an hour later than ordered. Wasn’t bad quality per se but my 5yr old son found a small half circle piece of plastic in his popcorn chicken. Possibly the seal of a sauce bottle or something. Just so the restaurant knows to be more careful.

I never received the food. The page just kept saying a driver was at the restaurant and no food was delivered. I waited over an hour and called the restaurant and got rude staff who said they could do nothing.

Great for a bit to eat and family and friends

Well, I had placed order in advance for my son's 17th birthday (Yes, I know, but he has ADHD and didn't want to go out), He had ordered his particular box meal, and his siblings and my partner ordered ours. We had checked in to drive through about 2 or 3 mins before arriving, then sat another 5 minutes before getting to kiosk where we were told we had not placed an order. After a few minutes the guy came back and said they were preparing it. After several more mins he produced us with drinks and a dismal bag. We asked if there was more to come. He replied "it's all there". 6 miles to home to give my son his birthday dinner he asked for,,,,,,it wasn't there! Nor was a chicken fillet burger meal!. I rang Coleraine spoke to assistant manager who made me out to be a liar! Why? Why would I spoil my child's birthday with that crap!? I asked to speak to manager. She said she was assistant manager in charge. I said I would email her manager. Then suddenly manager was there. Kat, the manager, was actually very good, and knew I was being honest, apologised and said she would make missing order up for us. Thing is, my son's birthday was completely ruined as we never got to all sit and have dinner together as this process was over an hour and we have drove from Belfast to make sure he had a good birthday dinner. If KFC have any respect towards us they should refund us as it was a complete shambles and very upsetting for my son. RJ Bailey

I ordered a kfc of Uber eats yesterday. I had complained to Uber that my chicken was pink and thought nothing else of it. I woke up today feeling awful, I went to work and couldn’t even stay for long as I was too ill and felt like I was on the verge of vomiting.

Just had first KFC in a year, it has come along way. Service was excellent, we done drive through. Very polite and helpful. Food was really good love the new fries.

Definitely one of the better KFC franchises food wise. Pity it's getting so expensive though.

Got food half hour after I arrived. The chicken shin was hard and tasteless. No apologie for late service .

Will never buy anything from them again. My wife and my stepson and myself all had a bucket of chicken my wife was blessed she only had one piece. I ate three pieces my stepson ate three. Both my stepson and myself were very sick. The food and the chips were disgusting, greasy and tasted like the oil had not been changed. My advice is do not use this place. Not recommended.

Very poor service 😞. Talk about lazy... Got a family bucket, with beans, corn, large bottle of drink. No napkins, no salt, no spoons so that was a messy finger job, no cups so we just had to take a swig and pass the bottle. The sauce dips fell of the tray unto the floor and was just put back on with my food. If is wasn't for view of a tyre depot straight out the window it would have been a really poor experience overall.

Hi there I went to kfc last night and girl who helped me she was so helpful and went out of her way to advise me on the best deal to buy and such a pleasant manor which is very rare these days thanks again

Better options elsewhere in the town! Staff at counter need alot more customer training as they are just ignorant, slow/lazy and really don’t look like they wanted to be there. Didn’t eat here in over a year as it wasn’t the best but the food now has got slightly better since last time but still overpriced for the quality and especially service! Spend your money at a Restaurant or somewhere else! 4/10

Every time I go orders always wrong and staff is so cheeky and ignorant

As usual, pretty decent. In the main dining area away from the counter, a few customers hadn't cleared up after themselves and possibly staff hadn't noticed. A few customers took a quick look for tables and were put off by what they saw. Just an observation.

Walked in with my pet fish and was told he couldnt be with me, so he was taken off me and taken to the kitchen. i then ordered CHICKEN wings but after i took a bite it tasted abit fishy, i then realised i just had ate jerold my pet fish. RIP jerold, ill miss u. Also jerold was my grannies firsh, my granny heard the news and took a stroke, the fish was names after my grannies late husband. Overall bad experience xx i want compensation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have paypal

Ordered food off under eats order was wrong for both and did not receive drink! Got in contact with them and the lday Called angle was so kind,camewent down and was able to get the rest of my order, unhappy about not able to get a refund off the uber app! Other than that I'm satisfied with the great service.

Disgusting food and staff not pleasant at all 😠😠😠

This is one of the older franchises which really needed to be upgraded or relocated a number of years ago. Much more staff training wouldn't be remiss either. The inclusion of the self-ordering digital boards is a good move, however it's very unprofessional NOT to keep them fully updated with ALL the offers being promoted on the radio or television to remind customers on site to make their experience more satisfying.

**Update** 29/04/23 They have definitely improved drastically since my last review. Updated store, new, friendlier staff. And most importantly, the food always seems to be spot on! Can't really fault them now, if delivery was available it would be 5 stars! It's just ok, can be a little hit and miss regarding the quality! Sometimes it's perfect, crispy skin, moist meat....others times (more often than not), it's greasy and bland! I suppose it depends on the staff working that day! I was actually having a family party a while ago and ordered 2 buckets, only to be told there wasn't enough chicken....in Kentucky Fried 'CHICKEN'! Lol The staff are generally good, some of the younger ones could do with smiling a bit, I know you're at work, but it's not the customers fault. They can often be far from the smiling, "Have a nice day!" attitude I believe KFC and most US companies promote. Still, it's the only one here, Portrush KFC used to be awesome though! Bring back Buttermilk Muffins! 😁

Dunno how chicken can be dry and greasy in one go, but they managed it, then I felt I'll for the rest of the day.

I took my granny there for some chicken popcorn and then she had a stroke and drowned in the gravy, but it was really good chicken 10 out 10 for me maby not for my granny tho

Ordered a gravy bucket 6 chicken peices, 6 mini fillets, 8 hot wings, 4 chips, 3 gravies and 1 popcorn chicken, We got 2 chips, 2 gravy(thank god) brown hot water. 3 mini fillets, bottles became cans, 6 hot wings, and I remember kentucky famed for its flavour just tasted like burnt breadcrumb, thought I would give it a chance with its chequered past, BUT! Will never be back.

Came here with my dog and he ate a single piece of popcorn chicken then had massive diarrhea on the floor then a worker threated to attack me so I throw a piece of chicken at her then ran away never again
