rotten food, don’t waste your money

I ordered through an app . It took about an hour to be delivered but over all the burger were good .

Fantastic food this evening we all loved it. Delivered earlier than time stated but that was a bonus lol never disappoints 😊

Been to turf n surf a few times now an always order the same thing. Let me tell you something folks this is a seriously tasty burger, hard to belive its similar money to McDonald's rubbish

Burgers were good , aswell as the milkshakes, the bad part was the chilli and sour cream fries, seemed good at first until I had noticed a weird taste, like sweat. My partner then had some and said the chips crunched in their mouth, and tasted sour and was gagging, trying to not throw up. We have ordered and ate here often and the chilli and sour cream fries were always their favourite side till now. Extremely disappointing , usually very good, this time , not so much.

Ordered at 7:10, told it would arrive at 7:50. Food didn’t arrive until 8:25. No apology or anything. Poor.

First class food. We all really enjoyed it and will be back for more!

Food was cold to touch.chips were undercooked.delivery time was shocking.over 90 minutes from time of order to time of delivery.

Unfortunately, we ordered the chicken goujouns and they tasted a bit sour so we stopped eating them yet it has been 3 days and we still feel sick as we might have had food poisoning. This is the first time it has happened as usually we go for the burgers and they are good. However would have wished that we would not have gotten sick

Rather disappointed with the food, burgers were tiny, black and hard, chilli coleslaw couldn’t be eaten as it was mainly sauce and warm, did not taste nice at all, my sons chicken burger meal came with a hand full of rock hard chips he was unable to eat. Wasted £30!

I don't often leave reviews but this was without a doubt the best burger I have ever had! ( opted for the "Triple Stack Burger) Had a large chip with it expecting an average amount like most places but when I tipped it onto the plate there was a mountain of chips. Food was piping hot and all around brilliant. Will definitely be getting out of here again!

wrong order delivered rang surf and turf sent back driver with my order which was delivered to wrong address food had been opened had to throw food out definitely won't be ordering from turf and surf again

The burger was alright but asked for not tomatoes and came with tomatoes? Chips and onion rings were far too salty and onion rings dripping in greese, batter was falling off. Ended up throwing the majority of it out. Collection was 10 mins after told it would be ready.

Food was cold and over30 minutes late, this was my first bad experience, food is usually excellent and delivery always on time or early.

Ordered 8pm monday for delivery, told it would be 20 minutes, rang at 20 past 9 to see where it was and the shop was shut, just decided never to worry about my order

Sorry to say this is far too ling a delay and never any communication until an update is requested. Chips were bordering on the cold side.

Placed the order around 5:30pm, got told to expect order 6:30-6:45pm, received the order after 7pm. Burger patties and baps were dry, chips were greasy and bland. Onions in the hotdog were wet, roll got soggy and fell apart. Small hotdog sausage. Had these better before thus the reorder. Disappointed.

Food was excellent. Service great. Definitely recommend.

Garlic chips were undercooked, cold and didn’t taste good at all. Disappointed the burger only had 3 prawns.

Burgers that you have to dislocate your jaw to get a bite of they are so big!!!! Excellent food, it always is.

Very disappointed with our order. Chips weren’t cooked properly and very greasy. Chicken goujons were very doughy, not cooked enough and really greasy. Only 1 garlic mayo was sent too.. Sorry..

Everything seemed to be a bit undercooked didn’t finish burger due to this, but still nice considering and would try again!

Top class, Bird Burger & Hawaiian Burger were faultless. Generous portion of fish with the cod supper that tasted great too! Couldn’t recommend more.

These are the best burgers in the town. Very few places leave me feeling full but the portions are class.

We ordered the Carolina burger and the chilli and sour cream fries and they were delicious. The portions were very generous and we will definitely be ordering from here again!

As usual the food was amazing, ten minutes is not an issue. I did miss my gravy and pepper sauce though

From ordering to delivery it took 1hr 45mins. I was expecting the food to be stone cold and inedible but was relieved to find it was hot and tasty! The portion sizes for chips and onion rings are massive. I will definitely order again

I asked for mayo only on my burger which came with big chunks of peppers and the bottom bap was too saugy and wet with some disgusting sauce it was uneatable

Ordered at 4:45 knowing delivery often takes a while from here but 2 hours for a small order is ridiculous. Burger overcooked and chips soggy. Used to really rate the burgers here but disappointing and late orders the last twice I’ve ordered…

We decided to try Turf n Surf tonight for a change from our usual takeout, WOW! fantastic food and service. We ordered online for collection, it was easy to understand and very quick, when we got home the food was hot and cooked beautifully, the insanity burger was a meal on its own, the garlic fries and chilli sour fries were crispy, fresh and full of flavour. We will definitely found our new favourite takeaway.

You might think that finally receiving our order after 2 and a half hours would be blessed release from the hunger ensuing from the preceding wait time, but sadly this was not the case; burgers whose buns had disintegrated to the point that they were beyond one's ability to hold them in one piece, patties that were fragmented and dense, bacon that was sweater and fatter than my ex. After a couple of bites, they found new refuge in our bin...and we did the same deep inside a share bag of crisps.

Said delivery was 17.45 got delivery at 6.00 but it was worth the wait ,,!!!! 👍 NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT 😅😅😅 best fish (goujons) & chip I've had in a long time be ordering again well done turf and surf 👍👍

Ordered at 5 and food arrived at 7. Stated 60min delivery but took 2 hours for 2 burgers which arrived look warm at best. They can make good food but the service is terrible.

Kids burger inedible as it was burnt beyond being able to eat which wasn’t really great for a child!!! Chips were all ends and burnt or possibly reheated a few times as half of them were dark brown. Poor poor quality of food. Disappointed.

Love turf n surf but they're beef burgers aren't what they used to be, previously i would have told anyone that would listen that their burgers were uncomparable but now not so much, they're good but not great like they used to be

Ask for garlic dip. But it was no garlic at all like tartare sauce 😂

Burgers were good but the paper they were wrapped in had disintegrated a bit by the time the food arrived which resulted in us picking bits of paper off the burgers. The chips were cold and soggy, the onion rings were cold too.

Food was great . But members of staff wispering to other members lf staff and looking at you . Bad mannors . And made very unwell come. Staff would need to up ther game a smile costs nothing and mannors. One girl that was doing the fryer this is aimed at . Not sure if i would be back or not. Been getting years from turf and surf and never had any problems . This was from monday the 29th august .

This place used to be really nice. But it has really got terrible past few months . Grease dripping out of the food meals being done completely different to wot was ordered plus the chips were reheatd. Used to be a regular customer but I can safely say hand's down I'll never be back .

Absolutely disgusting, batter was under cooked , chips under cooked also , burger was burnt and onion rings so soft they were flat in the bag! Most disgusting meal I’ve had in years , very disappointing in these times that food is such a waste of money 40 pounds in the bin! Absolutely fuming is an understatement….

We regularly get from Turf 'N' Surf, it's a family favourite. Service is quick (even during peak times), never get an order wrong and food is always fresh & piping hot. Portion sizes are amazing. If you haven't tried this takeaway you're definitely missing out!
