Greggs in Denbighshire

Very disappointed.. the supposedly hot food was stone cold i.e sausage rolls, chicken bake and steak bake and apparently no way of heating them up according to the surly and unfriendly server.

Great little stop on route to Holyhead, can get a bit congested in the summer months. Truck parking minimal near petrol station

Really? A services facility that shuts at 17.30?

I tend to avoid this Greggs because there’s always 1 person serving breakfast and it’s 15 minutes out my morning each time. Today there was a queue of 9 people out the door and just one very chatty lady serving. I know they’re going as fast as they can and friendly when you do get to the counter but not ideal for those trying to grab and go!

Not for me, though the price was reasonable

Dropped by for a cup of tea and we were hoping for a bacon butty. Told this is only available as a breakfast item. Opted for a pasty but had to have it cold as was told they could not serve it hot. Maybe they only have staff capable of heating or cooking during the morning. However the tea was fine and the staff were pleasant and friendly.

Great little Greggs on the A55. Stopped for brekkie on the way to Llandudno. Food was great and service fantastic. Easy to park too. Top job!

Always stop here when we are passing by. Love a nice sausage and bean slice on the go. Dust myself down when I get out the other end.

Tiny shop, has everything a normal Greggs has, not much space for queuing but the service is fast. Limited space outside and for parking.

Handy stopover on A55 however in holiday season parking is at a premium

It's everything you'd expect being Greg's. Great food, but being one of only two shops on these services, it was busy. However staff were quick and efficient processing the queue very quickly!

Who doesn’t love a Gregg's! Great service, fresh food and great coffee.

It is placed in a petrol station, it's a very small shop, eating in is not available, take away only, and no toilet facilities,

Staff were still friendly even when very busy which is hard not to appreciate especially when you work in hospitality yourself. Both of them are a credit to the company and should pat themselves on the back back for all the work they do on top of being a small team

Twice in one week received cold food with refusals to heat it up.

It's a Greggs, no concerns with service, the food and verity is as expected from A Greggs. Wouldn't take my partner there for an anniversary meal, but maybe a stop off on a long journey

Terrible not the staffs fault ! My food was very cold ! A bit of a stomach ache after eating it ! We stopped here on our way to wales ! I did say it was freezing they answered there all like that ! They should have said do you want a sandwich! I had a bean & sausage pasty

Stopped off at this service area for a break during our journey to our caravan park destination. Greggs, Starbucks and Spar petrol station on site. Some parking space but not loads. Trucks and touring caravans can park on one side of the service road. Toilets inside Starbucks

It's not really a bad review it's just that it's on motorway services and it's not big enough nor enough staff. It was absolutely rammed.but food still good.

I use this Greggs 2/3 times a year and today was the first time I've seen more vegen food than non vegan. So all I had was a sausage roll and a coffee 😐

I think when they thought up the Greg's and Starbucks idea they used the wrong buildings for each

We love Greggs, call in for a bacon barm and drink for £2.75 Bargain. Pasties and sandwiches are all delicious love it.

Went to get some some food Olny 2 sandwichs & no hot food at all ! It was olny 11.45 ! But Got sausage rolls & cakes

Staff are great. It's nice to walk into a Greggs and find the same staff unlike others where it's different faces on every visit. This shop is always clean and well stocked. Shannon and Ben are very polite and chatty even when it's busy. Nothing is too much trouble. Food was hot and very tasty as always.

There was no gluten free option for my wife. The staff had little or no interest in the customers. The outside was filthy rubbish all around the bin and doorway. Can't see me ever going back again.

Nice branch though. It got vegetable bake as well which is unfortunately is no where to be found in any of the branch in Bolton . But in this branch you can get all the stuff to eat like bakes , sandwiches, drinks and cookies etc . A glimpse of the yummy desert ...😍

Great little pit stop on route to a family holiday, queued out of the door but the staff were super quick and served people in no time.

Just a standard Gregg's but at highly inflated prices. If you need to have a scran on your journey then pop in. Would rather have done some home made ham or cheese butties and carry on past

Great place to get our food & coffee on our way to Anglesey

Greggs isn't somewhere I'd normally review but this one deserves a mention. Busy Greggs in a service area on the A55, parking immediately outside but it's the staff that's got me writing this. Friendly & very helpful. There's toilets which you'll find in the far corner of Starbucks.

Lovely little place, and it has a Starbucks here, too. Very clean, friendly staff, would recommend as a stop off. You can walk your dog on the small grassed area. Greg's is takeaway only, Starbucks is sit in or takeaway and toilets.

There is a Greggs and a Starbucks at this small service stop. I always get a cup of tea and a sausage roll here, very nice. You can sit in the Starbucks, sit outside or sit in your car.

A convenient stopping-off point on the Westbound (Anglesey boind) carriageway. Cheery, happy staff, great food and drinks.

One of those strange Gregg's which lurks outside a service station, ready to trap the unwary traveller. In this case, it has sidled up to a Starbuck's on the road to Holyhead, giving the weary traveller something Starbuck's never can

Nice place to cross the river if you walk down from Beddgelert you can walk back up the other side. There is a bench where you can sit and relax and if you are lucky a steam train may pass by.

The baguette was very nice. Asked for a white americano and a white coffee as advertised. The trainee pressed latte for both. I confirmed with him they were americano and white coffee to which he said yes. And to be honest they both tasted pretty dire. If that is how they are supposed to taste I won't be having them again.

Really nice and clean, great parking, good range, a little expensive.

Never seem to get a hot pasty which is frustrating as they are tasty from here.

This is such a dinky little place that we stopped off at on our way to Bangor it was good to have a bite to eat from here though

You know what you want and you get just that...

Unless you want to see people publicly urinating in the middle of the car park then I would avoid this place I go past here a lot and in the past six months, I’ve seen three people urinating in the car park in day light, even though toilets are available near by seriously, this is disgusting

Staff always friendly and great food.

Never eaten here but comfort services always clean and tidy and never any question asked as to whether we were going to eat there, staff in fact were very appreciative when I told them the toilet paper had run out in one of the cubicles.

Quick service, very helpful too. Products superb as ever.

I stop at this service area mainly for the cheaper fuel. At times it's 15p a litre cheaper than most petrol stations along the Duel carriage way.

Cold cold food...not a single pie or sausage roll even warm never mind hot.. yuk. Who eats cold food?? I was told by the rude unhelpful woman that I'd have to wait 15 minutes for anything hot.. obviously loves her job not..Customer service course might be more apt

Happy, friendly, helpful staff. It was late in the day so several items were sold out but we were able to buy something we liked.
