This Greggs cafe has opened near the industrial estate. It's about the correct distance for a walk from home with a stop, of course, for a coffee. This time they were serving the first mince pies I've seen this year - obviously couldn't miss that.

A welcome stopping off point on our walk to and around Forbes Hole Local Nature Reserve nearby. It was sunny and hot and so we took advantage of the indoor seating. Usual Gregg's food and drinks on sale.

172 Awsworth RoadImpressed - spotlessly clean, food good quality and wonderful presentation, friendly , helpful staff, good prices and unhurried, chilled out catch up with friends. Only one small niggle - paper towels in cleanest bathroom I have ever visited would be better than the towel and it would be perfect. Lovely surroundings, relaxed and chilled and good quality well presented food. This establishment deserves to do well for the 100% effort they make - well done Nenes.
