My partner went into this Greggs today at 9:15am and got 4 sausage rolls. He came back to the car and we had left for him to bite into one and they were stone cold and stale. Very unhappy

Just love the food, coffee and cakes here. Fresh and warm or cold as appropriate. Can't beat the prices. Would love a bit more indoor seating

Just wish there were small, locally and privately owned business like Gregg's. I regularly buy from Gregg's, even though I get acid reflux just walking past a Gregg's. Personally I don't even consider it to be value for money !!! I don't get it 😕

I call in Gregg's every Thursday Will seems to be on shift I would like to say he is very helpful always has a smile on his face and is an asset to the company

I wouldn't mind hot pasties, or sausage rolls once in a while. I don't understand the luke warm pastries.

Our Lily was loving the steak bake.

Very poor service. Long Queue and 1 person doing anything. Was no bacon or steak bakes out.. 5/10 minutes wait.

Always a que and the staff just stand down the side talking just a joke tbh food good but service is slow and awrful

I love Greggs. I like all the food they serve and the choice of coffe on offer. it is the first place i go to when I get off the bus in chester.

Slow service during busy times. Always insist on 1 till open at busy times

6 Tables, all empty, I was stopped from sitting to eat and told 'you have to pay'. I said 'sure, how much?', I was told no you have to pay when you order. I looked for a notice or sign to indicate this and there wasn't one. I asked how I should know, and was told I would be asked when I order if I want to sit in or take out. I explained that I wasn't asked. No solution offered, despite all the tables being empty and my offer to pay extra and I was forced to leave. Seems very short-sighted and bad customer service. The food is nice enough but prices are up about 80% in the last three years and I don't feel the higher cost is justified any more after today's negative experience so I shan't return.

Came in earlier today, and unfortunately, the service station shop was completely empty. I was having a medical emergency and really needed to buy a sugary drink. I learnt that Greggs had closed, and the tills had been turned off after attempting to purchase a coke. I was struggling to verbalise my medical problem, to which a worker helped me out. So a MASSIVE thank you to Greggs and that employee. Very grateful

Pies and pasties reasonably priced. I really wanted a bacon roll but apparently they stop doing "breakfast" items at 11.00 . I was 4 minutes late. Surely it can't be that hard to make this available all day. I felt like Michael Douglas in Falling Down

Been to this so called Greggs three times, each time the pasty's have been stone cold Latte was ok but didn’t receive what we asked for, no cream requested but still had cream in it.

Good for a quick pastie or a cheeky pie. Good and dependable, if not exactly health food.

The worst greggs! Waited 20 minutes to be served! Only one poor person serving on a busy Friday morning, absolutely shocking! Couldn’t give me a receipt which I needed! And this isn’t the first time last time I waited that long I gave up and went else where!

Same strengths that make Macdonald's so popular. You know what you're going to get no matter which one you go to.

This used to be my favourite sandwich shop... I'm guessing they're now weighing out what goes in each sandwich... There was a time you struggled to get your mouth around the tuna crunch baguette - you actually struggle to find tuna in amongst the salad these days 😔

Really nice staff, food is good but don’t get a pasty they’re freezing cold.

Can't recall visiting in the last few weeks.

Nice convenient location, good that tastes great, although only as a quick snack as to much can't be too healthy. The staff are nice and will throw in an extra sausage roll rather than bin it if you catch them at the end of the day 🙂

It's a Gregg's- what's not to like!?

Food was cold 😦 after craving a cheese and onion pasty for so long I was extremely disappointed.

Very friendly and as always great food

I stop at this Greggs/Thurstons quite frequently on my Gwynedd to West Yorkshire commute. The staff are brilliant ever-friendly. My only gripe is the pricing; every other Greggs/Thurstons I eat at the Vegan Sausage Roll is a £1, here they are £1.20 - I would not begrudge a mark up in price BUT the meat sausage rolls are only £1.05 instead of a £1. Why the difference?

Awful, bacon is either rock hard to the point where it almost breaks your teeth or its raw and pink. Pasty and rolls never ever hot..I'll be going to Greg's on mold high Street in future

Not good young lad as I was thinking of ordering some snacks to take to work he asked for me to hurry up as they're closing !!!! Won't be back not recommended.

Gregg is the best for great pies, sandwiches, and lovely cream cakes. Fast service just great when In a hurry.

This use to be very good but as of recent it's changed for the worse (Maybe changed management). They don't have much on display in the morning and can't even sell a cheese and onion pasty, the staff looked grumpy and seemed they hated to be there and was quite arrogant. I really hope they lighten up a little while I avoid it for a while.
