Club Spice in Flintshire

Ordered a set feast for 2, food was delicious and great quality. Excellent value for money, delivery was quick for a Friday evening which was a bonus! Definetly recommend!

Was looking forward to trying this take away, we arrived the customer side looked tired enough to put you off, it needs a good clean and maybe updating, the lady taking your the order, was a lovely lady polite and friendly, but a little scruffy, it's a food shop she should of been in clean and tidy cloths. The food We had onion baji they was hard didn't taste fresh at all, couldn't eat them, then the other starter was some sort of kabab it was like rubber tried to use just a fork but needed a knife to cut it first mouthful was the last, infact she spat it out in the bin, I tried it, it had a spice taste but again didn't seem fresh and was just like rubber it tasted as if it was days old The salad that come with it was crisp and fresh and plenty of it. Main meal I had Bhuna. The chicken was ok ish but rubbery, taste was fine it just wasn't mmm this is nice. The Butter chicken was the real let down, chicken was again rubbery and the sauce just didn't taste very nice,it had a sour taste, so the wife picked the meat out run it under the tap and chewed on the chicken. We had chips again they seemed old but they was ok In conclusion. It was eatable, nothing was fresh and none of it enjoyable not the meal you would warm the left overs up the next day, there was too much wrong with it to think it was a off night for them, it all just didn't feel or taste fresh. You have a problem there guys with freshness we was totally dissapointed and spoilt our Friday evening, we probably only had 30% of it the rest was just left for the bin, we ended up with cheese on toast after spending £25 on rubbish food. I know im coming over harsh I just feel so let down £25 is a lot to us and it was a treat we had saved up to have.

Absolutely delicious food here, this is our second visit in less than two weeks, very friendly staff, ordered a take away to collect, vegan and vegetarian options available, which we chose, enough food to satisfy even the biggest of appetites, so so tasty, cooked to perfection, will definitely be revisiting.

Ordered food from here last night came 35 minutes before I asked for it refused it they came back at proper time in which the starters where missing I rang up to complain and I basically was told they where sent I said no not here said will replace them.so they came 30 minutes late the starters which then there was no poppadoms absolutely a joke ruined my night i will absolutely not be ordering from here again

Disgusting. App now deleted which had £6 loyalty points and £25 i’ll never see again for chucking up and feeling sick all day just thinking about that rank chicken. Have a third review want any more? Appalling responses from owner, shows a complete lack of food hygiene knowledge and just a bad attitude. I stopped at the rotten piece i didn’t see if any more were inedible so that’s a stupid comment. Bad way to run a business and i wish i could make you eat the toxic waste that i unfortunately had.

Ordere was late and was missing an item

First time trying this place and 100% recommend, really tasty food, great service.

Food was all watery and cold, wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Mint sauce was out of date all lumpy. Staff are very rude

I was a regular and used the app a lot. This place has been slipping for a few months (less meat, different chicken pieces), but tonight i was violently sick from a piece of rotten chicken in a madras and i’ll never return, absolutely disgusting it’s a taste i won’t get rid of for a while.

As my review about the rotten chicken in the madras hasn’t been taken seriously, i’ll re state it in another review, report it all you like but it’s the truth. Contact me if you like, i have been using club spice for years. But what i ate tonight was indescribable. The way you brush off bad reviews is a joke. How can you justify your reply! Any symptom of food poisoning i will report

The poppadoms were missing. Only a small oversight, and won't stop me ordering again, because the rest of the food was good. It did mean I had a number of wasted chutneys though :(

Food is usually great but was a little cold this time, and not all items were delivered. Delivery was 1 hour and 10 minutes late but delivery driver said she had only just collected the food from restaurant (driver was lovely). A shame because we have previously loved club spice and would have expected a more timely delivery for just a random Tuesday night!

it's not always about what's wrong, it's how it gets put right. delivery driver typed in the wrong postcode and ends up miles away. I called the restaurant and Ellie (?) got straight on it, got the food recooked and sent back out with a different driver. top class service!

The food was good overall, however, the 2 mint sauces were curdled, therefore, uneatable. A real shame!!!

Delivery was over 1 hour late, with no updated delivery estimate, I requested a refund which was refused as they blamed the delivery driver, which is appalling as the driver was sent to locations further afield, before doing the closer locations, which in my opinion is a restaurant fault, very disappointed with the temperature of the food when it eventually arrived, I had to reheat all the food in the microwave as it was all cold.

Order took over two hours after being quoted an hour. Half an hour of that was the delivery driver lost and me trying to direct. We are on Google maps but they still couldn’t find us, never had an issue before with any other deliveries. Food arrived stone cold. Called the restaurant and was promised a voucher to be text to me but this never arrived. Wouldn’t order again as our evening was ruined.

I ordered the wrong meat for my curry online, rang up and was changed with no issues at all. Great customer service, amazing food :)

Food took 2hours overall to prepare and deliver. I was told it was being delivered 40mins before it finally arrived. The food was cold when it did arrive. Overall a bit disappointing and restaurant refused to refund any compensation.

Been here several times now and food is lovely. However I won't be using again from now on, seriously disappointing. Ordered at 7.30pm, was due at 8.30pm, got to 9pm and I rang to ask where it was, only to be told it hasn't even been cooked yet but will be coming. An hour later nothing, so I rang again, no one answered. In the mean time the delivery driver had rang whilst I was trying to get through and left a voicemail 'I'm lost' without saying who it even was or leaving a number to call back. She eventually got to us whilst I was a few attempts into calling the place for help. I explained it was due at 8.30pm not 10.15pm so to ask the business to answer their calls as I'd like a refund. She had a disgusting attitude, telling me I was a liar and it was due at 9.15pm, which it wasn't, and was still an hour after that even if it was, which it wasn't. Then when I explained this, she tried to get back in the car with the food saying she will just take it herself then if I wasn't happy. Not a great attitude, no apology, nothing for taking 3 hours to make and deliver 4 meals. At this point I had a newborn that was supposed to be in bed and it was a 50th birthday meal that I paid over £50 for so I expected a bit more, continued to call to complain but still no answer.

Placed online order for delivery 45mins later, waited 2 hours despite confirming order on the phone had to go and collect in the end, then the order was wrong. Attitude of staff was poor, no attempt to offer discount or extras. Won't be using again.

Placed order with an expected delivery time of an hour, had to ring restaurant three times before the order arrived one hour and forty five minutes later, all of the food was cold and congealed, totally unacceptable, steer clear on a Saturday unless you want your evening to be ruined

Ordered a takeaway 6-15pm a still waiting at 9-30pm…after numerous phone calls and being told a pack of lies..I’ve gave up on this order and expect a full refund but probably won’t get it…if you can’t handle the orders do take them, we for one we never order off them again after there lies !!!!

what can I say if your into curries club spice is the place to go we travelled all the way from Liverpool to mold to try the rumors out, we were definitely not disappointed we are definitely be making the trip again, the owner naboo was very welcoming and made our trip very enjoyable thank you 👌

One of the best establishments I've been to the food was amazing the customer services was beyond what I expected, the owner couldn't do enough for me slight changes to my order to suit my allergy needs, I was only in the area passing but I'd definitely go back here and I would definitely recommend this place very clean and a high hygiene rating to thanks for the great visit ill be back soon

Where to begin... Urdered before 7pm an hour later called to see where the order was and was told 20 minutes. 45 minutes later called and was hung up on. Food arrived and not great. Left Facebook re view and threatened with them blocking me. Pathetic. Don't waste your time or money!

There were five pieces of chicken each in both of our curries. The sauce was extremely watery i’m pretty tasteless Everything was cold. Poppadoms were broken. We ordered a potato dish that had four potatoes in it. We paid over £40 for this meal and it was probably worth about £10 if that very disappointed and will definitely not be ordering from this company again.

Have been ordering from club spice for a while but tonight they seem to have upped their game was the best curries we have had from there. Chicken tikka biryani was spot on, all of the food was hot, tasty and salad nice and fresh! Well done Club spice
