Greggs in Richmond upon Thames

Always 40- 60 mins for an order on justeat. Why ? I am 3 mins away. Also got extra bacon and was told if you have an omelette ,you do not get the extra bacon. I was charged for it !! The staff obviously do not give a monkeys . Never ordering again. Time wasting jokers !!

DO NOT EXPECT HOT FOOD OR GOOD SERVICE FROM GREGG'S INSIDE RICHMOND STATION!!! Service: 0 Atmosphere: 0 It was cold and I especially requested something that was hot and was given something COLD in return. The 3 people behind the counter were busy having a conversation in, which I had interrupted. Not sure if this was why I was given something cold. Luckily my train was delayed and I had time to jump off my train to request a refund, the man behind the counter said that Gregg's cannot guarantee hot food?? - how is that possible l, when I requested something hot, and was given something COLD?? I have been to a few Gregg's and made the same request. Staff have been honest and have said that food was only warm, and others have asked me to come back to let items cool, especially when items have just been baked. @ALL visiting this branch, if you want to be messed around by the staff while on your limited lunch break. DO NOT GO HERE!! This is not the place to come to!! Manager is really cocky. Retraining needs to happen for staff at this post @Greggs.

Dropped in for a quick bite on my way home from a haircut. Great food and amazing service, and this branch has plenty of seats and tables.

It was at 7:34PM on a Friday night, the shop was empty, I ordered a sausage roll and it’s cold like ice. I asked the front of house staff to heat it up. He told me it’ll take time. I said i don’t mind. The fact that they sell sausage rolls cold from the first place is unbelievable! Less than a minute went by, the later came out, and didn’t seem really happy, sent me back my roll and it didn’t even warm at all! I was so so a disappointed by the way I was treated, with a cold hearted and a cold sausage roll ever!

No card payments again very disappointing had no cash on me

The man wiped his nose on his hand before serving me. I could see the mucus gleam off his hand in the light while he retrieved the coffee. He really should wash his hands and blow into a tissue. He is handling food afterall... some common sense. I dont want a side order of the flu...

I do use Gregg all the time but the Richmond one is always dirty bins full tables dirty seems under staffed to me I don’t see it anywhere else .

Just went to Gregg's Richmond station. Got a steak slice. Asked if warm said yes it was cold ask if he could warm it. He said no. Had no prob day before different staff. Useless. Maybe he should find another where u don't need to push a button

At £2.65 for a bacon roll and a hot chocolate, it's great value. Bacon roll had already been cooked, but with some ketchup it was perfectly OK, and was enough to tide me over until lunch. Hot chocolate was very good. Plenty of seating. It says on the cups that one should return them to the store for recycling, but when I took them back to the counter, the staff looked like no one had ever done this before. I hope that they do recycle the cups, but based on their reaction, I need convincing.

The elderly lady toiling in the kitchen exhibits rudeness. Her manner of speech is undeniably rude! Before embarking on her employment at Greg's, it is imperative that she undergoes training in the art of customer interaction.

This branch is fine for hot food if you go in and collect it yourself, but often a disappointment if you have anything delivered. On one occasion I ordered a hot bacon roll and a latte (via Just Eat) a little after 10am and received a cold bacon roll and a tepid latte just before 11. This is not the first time recently that similar delays have happened. By bike we are less than 5 minutes apart, but Greggs load their couriers up with other orders as well as yours. OK if yours is first, but otherwise not. ----- From 6 years ago: I used to rate this branch quite highly but, since they've started to force eat-in customers to listen to the innane drivel of commercial radio DJs interspersed with non-musical noise and commercials, I've had to reduce their rating. Don't know what demographic Greggs are aiming at with this, but it's not appreciated by their existing clientele. Maybe the company is making so much profit it wishes to reduce footfall - or free up seating.

Two of us popped in for some tasty pastries, but left with a very sour taste in our mouths, and no, it was not the lemon drizzle. We had potato wedges, southern fried chicken bites which my husband described as ‘funky’ and not in a good way, sausage rolls which were hot & fresh out of the oven, but extremely bland compared to the usual Gregg’s standard. The biscuits were fine, and the vanilla latte has no vanilla and tasted like dish water. The floor was dirty, the tables were filthy, and the bins were overflowing. First poor experience of Gregg’s in my life, am usually a big fan of the food and have never had a bad word to say about it until today - as my husband just said, “the jammy heart was the only love on display in there today”. To say the staff were unkempt, and extremely rude would be a massive understatement. As a former customer services manager myself, I was taken aback by a woman (I feel lady would not be fitting here) behind the counter shouting at customers “what do you want?” as opposed to a polite smile or greeting, or some basic manners. This person clearly does not enjoy her job, and I understand that anyone can have a bad day, but taking it out on customers is extremely unprofessional and results in very poor representation of the company. A lady came in to make a purchase with her small dog, who was on the lead and extremely well behaved. In fact, there was more barking from the aforementioned member of staff, then there was the dog, in fact, the only barking, was from this member of staff. The lady bumped into a man she appeared to know as she was leaving, and stopped to say hello, and that’s when the woman working behind the counter roared “NO DOGS ALLOWED IN ‘ERE” very aggressively, and then proceeded to glare at the lady and her dog. This woman working here, then proceeded to roar at my husband that the bin was full as he tried to dispose of his rubbish, and then she stood outside in her uniform smoking with another employee. Again, I get that people have bad days, but the workplace is not a suitable place to vent your frustrations, especially when you are customer facing. And there are ways to professionally deal with customers (using basic manners for instance), and with store policies (perhaps politely approaching someone as opposed to screaming at them from one end of a busy store to another). Very, very disappointing experience, will not return & will not recommend.

You ought to be aware that this shop is terribly run and is ruining the reputation of your business. The staff have no idea what they are doing. On numerous occasions I have placed click and collect orders, only to have arrived and been told it's not been made and they don't have the sausage, bacon or egg to make the order. Usually because they've handed out to the customers queuing infront of me when I placed my order 20 minutes prior. The staff are rude and do not say please or thankyou. Honrstly, I don't write reviews often and I really am not a moaner, I'm just fed up eith the service in this shop and feel it needs to be addressed.

Nice breakfast baguette and latte fine but a little untidy and staff didn't seem happy to be there. Later popped back for a Tottenham cake and disinterested staff member kindly tried to give me two (one given back)

Rude disinterested staff girl works there, who has no interest in serving or being helpful. Customer service skills are zero. Food is also bad, with flies allowed to settle on the hot counter food. Place is always filthy.

Just wanted to mention a really lovely person named Mira that served us today. It was just a quick stop to grab a Vegan sausage roll and in a world where decent/good/great customer service is really lacking, Mira was kind, smiley and attentive; very personable - a breathe of fresh air! Companies need to value these kinds of employees - lovely person and we will be back!

Atrocious service, or lack of. Stood waiting for 10+ plus minutes whilst staff made awkward eye contact between themselves and shirked off to the back. One member staff shouted out to the back that she was not going serve customers if they asked for anything... defeats the points of working?

Tasty ham and cheese baguette and the sausage rolls as good as ever. Good value, clean and friendly branch of Greggs. The vegan sausage rolls are jolly tasty. Just turn left out of the station.

Very bad experience order 3 veg bake, served cold asked for make warm denied don't have oven, no sauce and ketchup that's finished too.

This Greggs in Richmond is absolutely filthy. The tables are grubby and the surfaces are not kept clean. Now when you have 3 staff members behind the counter and only one is serving surely the other 2 could be doing some form of cleaning. Even the legs of the tables are in need of a good scrub. l sat near the window which was near the sugar and hand tissues table. A female member of staff came over to change the bin bag while I was biting into my cold steak bake. She near enough put her bottom near my face while she bent down to replace the bin bag. I immediately got up and left. Never to return to such a shambolic place.

We came here just before closing. but we were served first class. At least someone works compared to other coffee shops.

Useless, there this morning ,3 staff members there only one serving two of girls were chatting away waited 5 minutes then left with no food .Never going there again not that that matters to Greg's anyway.

Standard Greggs, reasonable quality food at very good prices. Hot chocolate is nice but need to mix it.

I collected a magic bag that I had reserved. It was ready for collection, the staff were friendly and the items were perfect for dinner and lunch! No complaints about service or goods :)

Had bad experiences here two times now, on both occasions because of one particular staff member. First time, she gave me the wrong pasty. Second time, which is what I am mad about, she was just painfully rude. I won't be coming here again. The low prices and average food aren't worth the terrible customer service.

Very poor. Very dirty tables and the floor is a mess. They have the caution wet floor sign up and the floor is dry. Everyone serving is behind the counter, no one doing any cleaning. Wanted a coffee and got hot chocolate. Won't be coming back here again.

The lady with first letter name start with L was very rude. After 1 minutes and 55 seconds of waiting and seeing me standing there, People came in, than she tells me to go back at the back of the queue rudely. The other few staff didn't say anything. So I told her I'm not moving back. No sign that say which side is the queue was. She needs more customer assistance training.

That's a good place to have a surprisingly good coffee for a fraction of the "fancy" code shops around. The pastries are good too. The price is very fair too! ☺

Just your standard Greggs restaurant with nice tasting food and nice staff who provide good service. Nothing really notable about it to be honest.

Their sausage rolls and pies were very good but for some reason they now serve them luke warm and if you ask them to heat them up they say they're not allowed to. Please change this policy as it's ridiculous. Not going back again.

If you’ve not tried the vegan sausage roll then you’re missing out. I’m not a vegan so I’m guilty of eating them up on the vegans but it is millions better than the normal roll. Theo’s Greggs is much better than the normal Greggs. Well worth a visit of a light bite.

Possibly the poshest Greggs you will ever visit. I once went into an all night Greggs in Nottingham that was cash only, where I bought a bag of pizza, and there were bouncers. I'm sure the delightful and efficient staff here would faint if you told them of such things. If you need some stodge, this place is perfect.

Quick, easy, well priced as all Gregs. Very good breakfast rolls now. Excellent salads tasty - eg chicken, coconut, lime with rice.
