The meals were Surprisingly V Good quality. I expected Pub Chain good. But the Burgers we had were made with some care. First Visit. Very good

Lovely evening for my sons 16th birthday. Food came out all together there was a lot of us. Even played birthday music when we had the cake very accommodating.

Great Sunday lunch carvery, but go early before the rush and book your table in advance. Plenty of meat and all-you-can-get-on-your-plate vegetables. Thanks to Bella for excellent service and providing a doggy bag for the meat we could not finish.

Really great place for families, great beer garden which is clean and looked after. Food wise, thought we would give the chicken and ribs platter a shot and finally a place with actual meat on the bones! Definitely a 10 out of 10

as soon as my family and I walk in, I was greeted but the most happiest and friendliest waitress I've had the pleasure of meeting in a long time. Cat was so wonderful, she got us seated straight away and she even helped my grandmother. I mentioned to cat that my vegetarian and my father was lactose intolerant and she made us feel a lot more comforted about our needs. Cat gave us some recommendations due to our needs and she wasn't wrong about the veggie burger. Cat apologise to us about the noise which was no fault of hers, kids can cause a ruckus from time to time. i did notice one of the members of staff giving us a some what of a dirty look when we were ordering but I couldn't see her name. overall, Cat was just a marvellous member of the team. and she really did brighten up our day.

Good food and great service. Place was quiet so plenty of places to sit. Not much of a wait for food. Chips weren't the best but the hunters chicken baguette was so delicious.

came in a couple weeks back for lunch, had a pleasant experience. food was outstanding, i personally enjoyed the nachos and the carvery. The carvery had a great selection and had a very lovely chef serving us, many Thanks to Daymo and also the spectacular waitress Mia.

Had a wonderful visit to greenstones, the food came out hot and in decent time. It was well cooked and with a wide variety of options available. All of the staff made you feel welcomed and were always available to assist come any issues. Special mention to the excellent service from Mia who served us throughout our visit and made it more enjoyable.

Utter rubbish you make your own polices up to suit yourself, which you feel supercedes the law, twice in one meal. The law and the government states a minor can have a drink with a meal, let me just state my son is 17!! Assistant manager said no, it's classed as a pub ( please see sign photo!!!!) According to Marstons THEY see fit to make thier own law/ polices up 😡. The bill was over £200 and you asked us to pay before ordering dessert !!!! NEVER AGAIN.

Absolutely the worst meals we've eaten. this place is awful. Eaten with family 5 times including Christmas day and we'll never eat here again. Carvery is terrible but Christmas day lunch has inspired me to leave this review, it was another level of bad, just more expensive bad. Shame as it's a nice venue.

As always great staff, fab food and value for money, if I could give more than 5 stars I would Week on week the carvery is surpassed, absolutely wonderful food and fabulous staff and manager Danni. Thank you all xxx

Very low quality food, over cooked over priced, spoke to the manager about the issue with my meal and she was very rude wouldent deal with the complaint he's behavior was unprofessional.

We had a great time meeting Bluey!! Bluey came to see us lots of times, she was so lovely and took the time to say hello.

Me and my daughter came for a bluey breakfast experience. Couldn't of done better all the staff were involved. Food was quick and well presented (absolutely demolished) Helen was very attentive to all the kids definitely kept my daughter entertained and James made sure bluey behaved herself (lol) kids songs played which my daughter loved marching up and down the booth we we're sat in. (Danni) Easter bunny made an appearance which was probably the show stopper for my daughter she made a friend I think. One happy mum. Thank you greenstone

What a great Breakfast with Bluey this morning a fantastic start to Easter Sunday. Brilliantly put together and executed by the whole team at Greenstones. Breakfast as usual was excellent and the activities put the icing on the cake. And a surprise appearance by the Easter Bunny topped it off. Well done everyone

First off just wanted to say my daughter loved the bluey breakfast. And the young lad who I think organised it was going round with Bluey was brilliant, seems like all the kids got to interact a fair few times. But what wasn't the best is we arrived at 9am, didn't get our breakfast until 10:40am as you can imagine this is a long time for a young child. But when it did come out, I had to admit disappointed with the quality of the food.

Breakfast with Bluey was an absolute success for our little one! He was so happy and pleased to be with Bluey for breakfast. He had delicious pancakes. Breakfast with Bluey!! Such a warm welcome on arrival (which is standard for Greenstones) delicious, warm breakfast and impeccable service! The little touches really made it a breakfast to remember! An Easter gift from the blue dog herself and even danced the conga with the little ones! Thank you!

We had a fantastic breakfast with Bluey this morning. From the moment we arrived the service from the staff was exceptional, we were welcomed by Bluey and shown to our table, and throughout the breakfast Bluey kept reappearing, happy for photos, high fives and conga lines! It was a really special treat and both our children absolutely loved it. But it wasn't just Bluey, the food was also absolutely delicious, hot and plenty of it. I'd thoroughly recommend it and thank you for such a special morning. I should add, they also catered for an allergy with no problems at all.

I cannot speak highly enough of Bryony at Greenstone Dereham! From start to finish, she was nothing short of exceptional. Her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Bryony goes above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of – she’s incredibly knowledgeable, quick to respond, and truly puts your mind at ease throughout the whole process. What really stood out was her honesty and dedication. You can tell she genuinely cares about helping people find the right home, not just making a sale. She kept me updated every step of the way and was always available for any questions I had, no matter how big or small. If you’re looking for someone who’s not only amazing at their job but also an absolute pleasure to deal with, Bryony is the one to ask for. Greenstone is lucky to have her – and so was I. Five stars all the way!

Perfect nothing bad about this place

We ordered 3 x carvery meals and 1 x steak & ale pie. We all enjoyed our meals which were very tasty and hot. The staff were very polite and welcoming. We chose our time slot just right (4:30pm) as it started to get busy as we were leaving (5:45pm).

A weekday visit. I received a dried out hunters chicken some 45 minutes after ordering it (using a discount voucher). Locals received vouchers for 30% off. Oddly, they were not prepared for people to use them as the service was extremely slow and the place was packed with people. One group of lads said they waited 2 hours; they had ordered before we sat down and were served their food (in two servings) after we nearly funished ours.

Heavily understaffed and general poor quality of food. The staff that were on were great but food standards are very low

Took mum here for mothers day. It was very busy, but didn't feel crowded. The food was very tasty but I had roast pork so was disappointed to hear there wasn't any crackling.. The roast potatoes were good. The cauliflower cheese delicious, but it was here I hit the second problem- found a bit of plastic packaging in the cauliflower! The chef/server apologised but no further action was taken

The staff were very happy and helpful The many times that we have been here in the dereham pub, The manageress is a beautiful and helpful lady and the young ladies they all greeted us with open arm's and lovely ☺ smiles. Overall the atmosphere was very warm and inviting, everyone in there seemed to be having a laugh 😂 and when we left we were thanked and told to have a lovely afternoon and evening. We were a party of 6 and stunned at 7:30 to enjoy a carvery meal. Carveries orders were placed and paid for and some 20 minutes later we were invited to go to the carver bar. No one in our party eat red meat and the turkey was to be our meat of choice. However, at the carver bar we were informed that there was no turkey. Disappointed at this we sat down again and were forced to choose alternative dishes from the menu. After we had eaten our main course it was another 30 minutes before the plates were cleared and we ordered desserts, which arrived after another 15 minutes, which was surprising, as by this time the restaurant was almost empty. If we had been advised at the time of ordering that there was no turkey, we could have made alternative arrangements and eaten elsewhere. The evening was very disappointing and feel far short of what we have previously come to expect.

Food is OK for pub food the plates always seem dirty no care is taken to clean the plate edges..

Would avoid this place, we waited nearly an hour for our food for half of it to arrive cold. When we told the serving staff this we were told it had been checked with a thermometer and no apology was given. They did take the food away and heat but it still came back not hot enough and servers attitude was even worse! We were a large group but the service and quality of food ruined our family reunion. None of us will be returning.

Picked somewhere along A47 where I could charge my EV and take a break before heading home. This pub was ideal with Oyster rapid chargers, carvery and Marston Pedigree ale. Excellent friendly service from all staff. Relatively busy for a Monday at 6.00 pm with tables reserved which is a good sign. Beef and turkey were lovely.

What a lovely meal we had for Mothering Sunday, the carvery was great, the meat was tender and the vegetables were all fresh and hot. A special mention to Danni who met us with a smile and a lovely welcome. We will definitely be back soon

All lovely except the Head Office needs to update the ordering via QR code as most of the stuff we wanted was missing. I went and ordered from the bar in the end and nothing was missing. And the Disabled loo could do with a deep clean and a new loo seat. Staff and food was lovely. we will be back

I am really disappointed this time around visiting the Greenstones with my partner and her family, whom traveled over 200 miles to be with us today. Usually the food is perfect and no issues arise. Unfortunately, upon ordering we decided to use the app to order as we were a little way from the POS. The system hadn’t updated, removing sandwiches which were only available until 3Pm. This was fine, it was quickly rectified by staff and any extra money owed was waived. Appreciated. When a few of us received our meals, sadly a few had to be sent back because of Cold chips, cold peas and even rock hard pies. One member had the American hot dog and the Brioche bun was hard enough to use as a door stop. Unfortunately as we were a little struck for time, after receiving what we believed as a few extra chips on one plate and another microwaved, we decided that was enough and eventually ate what we could and left. This has really damaged the reputation for us coming back here as we usually really like this place, however this time really lacked care and attention to detail with the food. We, would of asked for a refund, though we can only assume this would of likely caused arguments with staff/chefs because we’d Attempted to eat the food. Dissatisfied and frustrated.
