Absolutely awful the worst Chinese meal I have ever had ! The only thing that was good was the delivery Do not order from here

We had a takeaway from here last night and it was delicious! We ordered several dishes for a family meal and we were not disappointed! It is under new management and we really recommend.

I wondered why the quality of the food had improved. I stopped using them yonks ago but thought i would give them a try an the food was brilliant quality Well done

The place is now under new management, and the food has been drastically improved, honestly one of the best Chinese I've ever had and will continue to have, forget past reviews, try again you won't be disappointed

This is the worst take away in coalville ,food reheated food no taste cold , cheap ingredients , threw away and I'm being honest . Cooked in 5 mins disgusting .how they got raitings ? Don't waste your money even a homeless person / tramp would complain !!!!

I have slowly been working my way through the local Chineses since moving here. I finally found one I like and keep going back. The order always gets to me early. Food is stunning. I keep wanting to order something else but I love the chicken curry and Cantonese pancake rolls so much I cant bring myself not to keep getting it. Honestly glad I found the place.

We placed an order this evening at 7.50pm. Called at 9.15pm to see where the order is to be told there was a missing ticket. So no food for us. Off to the chip shop we went after waiting all that time for our supposed dinner. Will not be order from them again.

Bland, bland, blandPancake roll bloody raw and tasteless Ribs what a joke , oh sorry they might have been bird wings, more meat on legs hanging out of a nest,Sweet/sour chicken balls , chicken very dry and batter was burnt. I only ordered for grandkids and tried it , yuk yuk yuk , so guess I’m cooking for them , I wouldn’t expect them to eat crap if I won’t . All in all if your used to crap food eat away , Food paradise is the best in coalville.

Just had a takeaway, will never go there again. Both the rice and sweet and sour chicken looked and tasted like it had been cooked the day before. Very disappointing

The order took 1 hr 30 mins and was cold. It felt warm but wasnt when we dished it out. My soup had to be reheated and was quiet exspensive for what it was. The duck i had was hard as nails and ended up in the bin. Was disappointed! The salt and pepper chips was the worst ive had. No onion or peppers just 3 pieces of chilli.

Fantastic food arrived earlier than said and red hot.

Rice was missing from our order, the duck was cold, and the ribs were dry and tasteless. Want be ordering there again!

Got a message to say it was enroute way before my delivery time however I receive my order 20 minutes late... needless to say our food was Luke warm. The chicken balls were very doughy, undercooked batter and the 3 out of the 8 mini spring rolls actually had nothing in them. Generally I enjoy the food from here however this is not the first Friday order I have had where the food is appalling. Saturday must have a different chef as the food is so much better!

Good wasn't very warm and driver not very friendly

This meal was so disgusting I complained to just eat or hungry house (can't remember which) and demanded my money back. The food was barely warm upon arrival and the chicken was half cooked and was covered in what I can only describe as a jelly like slime. It was just the most disgusting thing and looked nothing like a chicken chow mein. The chicken balls were also horribly dry and looked like they had been sitting around for a while. Don't bother eating here.

Very good as usual, shame lettuce on bottom of Hong Kong chicken was bad so you missed all 5 stars (:

Always lovely food from here! Duck in hoisin sauce today was perfect. Arrived a few minutes early, and the driver was really friendly too.

Very good food and friendly service, would have liked some prawn crackers thrown in and maybe an extra fortune cookie but otherwise excellent! :) will be sure to tip next time, highly recommended.

I ordered aromatic crispy duck. It wasn't duck... the meat was white... either chicken or pork.

Fantastic food and service as always. We always order from here as the food is great and arrives quickly.

Awful meal. The rice was just one big lump all stuck together in the carton-not appealing. My partner could not eat his curry as the chicken was not cooked properly- it wasn't pink but had a very squidgy/watery texture! Will never order again!

Always order from here for a Chinese, however on this occasion both of our curries were far too watery. The beef texture was not great either

I order most weeks and found the last few weeks the food has been very salty and not the usual good tasty food thats normally delivered.

I found a metal shaving in my "meal 2" dish! thankfully i found it before it was too late. on top of that the dish was extremely salty. was not worth the money at all. needless to say that i am deeply disappointed and wont be ordering from here again.

Order Chinese to have with friends. We were all impressed with the speed of delivery and the quality of the food. Worth ordering from if you live in the area.

Pedimos un plato, pero sin frutos y el servidor sólo miraba en mí y re blankly - iterado el nombre del plato. Después de pagar me repite "Sin frutos secos? "y de nuevo en blanco mirando. Plato vino con nueces. Sirve comida gente con nueces cuando tienen pidió explícitamente lo contrario es completamente inaceptable y potencialmente mortales.

Hace unos meses intenté colocar una orden a través de comer solo y la orden fue rechazada.Este muestra ahora bajo nueva dirección, así que pensé que yo les daría otra ve y sucedió lo mismo.Si son tan lleno todo el tiempo entonces, ¿por qué ofrecer un servicio a pedido de ellos a rechazar el pedido.

Great meal first order from here, will visit again.

Food was uneatable as chow mein was full of bones and curry was full of salt wouldn't recommend.

All I could taste was onion even after I took them out bit off putting when that's all I could taste but it filled us up

Some of the food was burnt , and the delivery time took far too long instead of adding delivery time it was just marked as delivered and took an hour longer.

Rice was still hard the chips were dry more like oven chips the BBQ sauce looked like tar and the sweet and sour sauce was more sour than sweet....... @ John at Bardon Close we tried this after reading your review you clearly need to try a different Chinese

The food is being over cooked. Anything that is deep fried is being left to go hard and tasteless.

Normally fantastic food from here. Only this time wasn't as great. Chips a bit cold and tasteless and curry sauce not as good. But the rest was lovely as always.

Omelette had a bad taste to it, rice was really dry , it was delivered in time but my food was cold not happy

The duck wasn't great it was a bit rubbery. But everything else was spot on

Changed the delivery time by 50 minutes after order was placed.....

Another excellent meal from Greenhill Chinese. Leftovers were great for lunch next day too!

Terrible! Food got here late and cold, delivery driver was rude and told us off! Bbq sauce like tar wouldnt recommend at all we ended up binning it!
