Greenhalgh's Craft Bakery in St. Helens

Birthday cake was horrible,far too much buttercream with hardly any sponge,we have never had a problem in past these always been our favourite,we have emailed and rang,and unless we return most of the cake they don't want to know, good photos aren't good enough,our cake was left with my daughter in North east.good will to the customers doesn't exist, I loved these celebration cakes bought lots in the past,this cake wasn't like the ones we'd had before.Hopefully the owner will email us when they read this, I love cake and so disappointed in the cake and customer service we have received this time.

Please Greenoughs get some pleasent, polite, assistants. Some are so misrable looking, Im suprsised your fresh creme cakes have not gone sour. All look bored stiff, and would love to be anywhere but working there. Some poor soul today in front of me, who had gone into the fridge for somthing, and accidently must not have closed the sliding doors by about half a inch, when putting in a large order was told in a loud voice not please can you used Close that door properly what you have left open. If I had been that person, I would have just walked out. Your expensive enough as it is, so a bit of pleasantness from your employees would not go a miss.

After visiting the bakery over Christmas for mince pies was surprised to find they weren't upto standard! Sent an email to Rebecca raynor customer service to make a complaint! Was promised some vouchers! Still not received anything and my emails are being ingnored! Way to go greenhalghs! Fab way of treating customers 👋

Really poor customer service. This company are happy for you to pay for something (it was only £11 !!!!) that you haven’t actually had 🤷‍♂️ Dpd left the parcel outside my locked front door (I was out) and apparently that’s good enough 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 This company really don’t know the meaning to what customer service is and how to retain and excel in this area. I have given them the opportunity both on the phone and email to put this right, but they have seriously left themselves down. For the principle I won’t unfortunately for them and I’ll continue to share this experience on all social media formats and review websites.

The first thing you notice is the smell, it was mouth watering, the smell entices you to walk in, the display was amazing, the cheese pastry I ordered was divine, and it was only 9:10am

Far to expensive and far from the best. Purple bacon and sausages that are far to over cooked. This has been raised in the shop and they agree. They said the owners don’t listen. Well listen to this I won’t be back nor many others.

Bought 4 meat patties absolutely horrible. All pastry one ball of hrey gristle in each one had to be thrown away. Waste of money never again!!!

Won’t be using Greenhalgh’s again as the cost of their pies have gone too high. Other choices on offer in the town, so will go somewhere else and it’s a shame because I used to like Greenhalgh’s pies

Bought 2 steak pies .Full of fat and gristle .Had other pies before and lovely but never again will I buy pies .More fat than meat ..

£2.50 for a burnt pie! The lady who served me had a face like a slapped fish too! This was Whelley at Wigan today the 16th May 2020 at 11.45am

i have been buying birthday cakes for years from greenhalghes they make the best jam & buttercream birthday cakea ever... you will never be disappointed

I really do love this bakery (did) I nipped in today to get my husbands dinner as usual and it was early but I did ask if the pies were "freshly baked" I was assured by the assistant that they were. Disgusting liar! As soon as my husband took a bite he grimaced, I checked it and there is no doubt it was a" day after" pie. It went in the bin. Will not use the place again, another well known chain shall get the deal for pie and peas supper for 120 people next month my gran's 70th!

We have been to 2 local shops now in Bolton and have been very disappointed with the quality of the food.First meat pie tasted awful and then second trip pasties were undercooked and cold and to top it all I was overcharged for 2cakes which were supposed to be on offer. We have always bought our fresh cakes, pies and bread from Greenhalgh's but think we will give them a wide berth for a while as standards appear to be slipping.

I have been a customer for maney trouble free years however some weeks ago a had occasion to complain about the standard of the white flour cakes , after 2 phone calls i was sent a standard inpersonel letter stating " please accept our VOUCHERS for your trouble inside envelope 1 VOUCHER. i sent a recorded delivery letter to the MD AND ON THE ASK DAVID part of the web site told him i had done so he replied saying he would get back to me when he got it NEVER HAS i will not set foot in there shops again if that's what CUSTOMER SERVICE means to them

Y los bollos son más grandes que pelotas de cricket.Así que, para una variedad de panes locales tienda Crumpet Lancashire y el famoso Pan recién horneado Lancashire ... este es el lugar! ... Esta es una panadería llevar sólo pero te puedes sentar en la plaza amplia abierta con su fiesta.
